After reading this thread,
http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/26706-what-has-cleared-me-99-in-one-week/
I realized it is might be the missing step in the paleo diet. That's the diet that Dan was on where he stayed mostly clear. Think about it. When a caveman dragged the food back to his cave, there was no cup/glasses/sinks by him. He ate his food and collapsed after being stuffed. When his thrist finally overcame his laziness, it was a 15min walk to the river. He didn't have anything to drink with his meals. No liquid for two hours before/after a meal+paleo could be a potential cure.
I totally agree. A lot more threads coming up here about paleo PLUS not drinking with food. For many reasons but mostly proper digestion and synthesis of nutrients. Thanks for posting it gives me faith to try to wait annoint before and after meals to drink. And of course, you're right. We are NOT created to drink with meals
'Cavemen' didn't really live like the characters in the cartoons. And methods to carry water have been around for a very long time. The people capable of making spear points were capable of carrying water.
Really, please name the SEALED containers cavemen used to carrying the water so bugs and germs did not go into the water. Also please tell me how the water was kept COLD so it tasted as cool and fresh as the water at the river. Have you ever tasted water that's been left standing in the heat all day? Nasty!
No liquids with meals!

Glad I could help. Please post back with your results if it helps with your acne.
1 week Update- Acne slowly disapearing with paleo+no water with meals. Went out and had grains yesterday, along with a shake which is essentially food+water. Huge spot popped. No shakes or soups anymore. Also considering adding zantac because of possible histadelia and L-methionine because of hair shedding from previous b5 usage.

Ok. I hope you are aware that plastic containers and refrigeration are very recent innovations. And you should be avoiding water that's been sealed up in plastic containers. Food too. Avoid the hormone disrupting plastic.
And yes, I have drunk room temperature water. Most people in the world do it on a daily basis. Also, since you seem to be imagining tropical cavemen, because otherwise caves tend to be pretty chilly places, those tropical rivers aren't all the fresh or cool. Or safe. A better source of water in the tropics are things like bamboo. There's safe drinking water in between the joints. All you have to do chop off a stalk and carry it with you.

You are stretching here. The avgerage westerner will sit down in a restaurant and be served an 8 oz glass of water before the meal. Then they will have another 8 oz of some type of liquid during the meal. Post meal they will have another 6-8 oz of tea/coffee/liquor if it is dinner. That is 22-24 oz of liquid at one meal, far beyond the abilities of what one bamboo stalk carries.
The point is it is working for me and others in the link I posted. Hopefully it works for even more people.

I am not stretching anything. I was talking about actual facts rather than imaginary ones. You were imagining things about 'cavemen' that are invalid. I have not said one thing that suggest I recommend guzzling huge amounts of liquid with their meal. And it depends on the bamboo. Have you never seen timber bamboo? And that's just one method for carrying and storing water. Caves often have springs and rivers in them, btw. The smart caveman would pick one of those.
If you have issues with digest, then yes you should probably try not drinking very much liquid with your food.
Here is the facts. Not drinking water with meals helps tons of people as seen from the original thread I linked too.
As for caveman since neither of us were alive at this time- it is all speculation.
Some of us are basing their speculation on actual knowledge. There are these people called archaeologists and anthropologists and they study archaeological sites, artifacts and even modern day humans. And there's this thing you can do called reading to learn about them.
Also, there are many, much more sensible stages between the extreme thing most Americans do and the extreme thing they then decide to do to 'solve' the problems they caused by the first extreme thing. But for some reason, the sensible approach never occurs to most. It's all or nothing. The American Way. Soup is good food, btw. Especially made with bone broths obtain by long slow simmering of bones and other parts rich in connective tissue. Very good for healing your digestive tract.
And there weren't tons of people on that thread. There were a few. And a few of those believed they'd benefited from the arbitrary 2 hour drinking schedule.

K, you win. You are right and I am wrong. In addition you can get the last word. I"ll be back in a week everyone to post an update.
Updating a little early as won't be here next week. 99% clear on body 90% on face. Considering how rapid the results I don't think this will get me 100% clear on my face, but it is working great. I will now be adding Zantac 150 to see if that gives me the final push, if not I will add back low dose b5 as the hair shedding has now be CURED. Putting that in a separate thread. Below is my current regime:
No liquids 30 minutes before to 2hrs after a meal.
Paleo
600mg ALA
1.5g methionine
1g MSM
Topical Retin A at night
Update: I no longer do the 2hr water regime.
I take b5 and l-cysteine powder in water throughout the day. This way I have coenzyme a always in my bloodstream, I am 90% cured (only been a few weeks) and on my back to 100%, this time without hair loss. I remain on paleo and 600mg of ala. I stopped the Zantac because no on knows the long term affects and I don't need it anyway. Remain on retin a and i am adding the egg white lemon masked mentioned on another thread to finish off the red marks.

What dosage do you take?
Does it have any effects? In an earlier post (#12) you mentioned you were 90% clear on face. That was before b5 and l-cysteine. Now you're still 90% clear. Does B5 an L-cysteine help at all?
I remain on paleo and 600mg of ala.
Is ALA helpful? I'm thinking about starting it. Did it make a difference to you?
Thanks.

If you click the above post you'll see I was 100% clear from b5 alone, I only stopped because of hair loss. Now that I cured the hair loss (see my b5 hair loss cured thread) with l-cysteine, I am back on b5. I am on 4g b5, 3g l-cysteine. (Weight 150lbs, m) The reason why I am 90% is because of possible ib from starting b5 as well as loosening my paleo diet. My dosage is also lower than 10g because by being on a loose paleo diet the coenzyme A has less undigested fat, etc to scoop up. I know for a fact once I get the dosage right ill be 100% again because I was before. I am taking ala for scar/red marks rather then active acne.
I recommend a semi strict paleo diet combined with b5/l-cysteine. Than when you are 100% you can loosen the diet as well as lower the dosage till you find what's ideal for you. Looking at the reviews of b5 you can see how many people it cured.

And the counter argument to this.
Please post the link to the conclusive scientific study that proves your theory.
