Hello this is actully the reason why most people have acne. Unhealthy blood sugar levels. I have heard people say that its only the people with high blood sugar who has got a problem. Thats not true at all, even if i wake up and the first thing i eat is an apple or a watermelon or carrots which sounds super healthy, i will break out! So here is how to prevent blood sugar spikes.

1 - Buy a chromium and magnesium supplement and take the recommended dose everymorning (dont do it on an empty stomach)

2 - Always eat in this order: Fats first (nuts, avocados), protein next (chicken, turkey), carbs and the high gI as the last (fruits, carrots, rice, potatoes!

3 - Drink 1 tspn apple cider vinegar 30 minutes before any meal.

4 - Eat cinnamon before or with in the meal

5 - MOST IMPORTANT, eat every 2-3 hour and the portions should be same size. If you eat a huge breakfast and don't eat anything until lunch and then you eat huge again, i guarantee your blood sugar will spike big time. Thats why binge eating can cause acne.

If you want to, mulberries should be great too!

Number #1-2-5 are the most important and could cure your problem. But if you want to try this and stay on the safe side, do step #3 and #4 also. I promise you that you won't break out.

I will be updating this thread for more info soon!

Recommended dose. According to whom? Recommended doses how very little weight with me as everyone is different requires different doses.

Always eat in this order: Fats first (nuts, avocados), protein next (chicken, turkey), carbs and the high gI as the last (fruits, carrots, rice, potatoes!

Have you got the study to back this up? It doesn't matter when you eat the said macos or in what order. If you require 40% protein, 40% fats and 20% carbs per day (those are my current values) the order they are eaten in and at what time makes no difference at all. While I agree the little and often method is great for balancing hormones it really wouldn't matter if i ate all protein in one meal, all fats in the next meal and all my carbs in the next meal. My body will simply process the macro nutrients as and when they come in. As long as i hit my target for the day, eating in the above order would have little or no effect.

The greats myth of them all. No carbs after 6pm. Biggest load of crap i have ever heard. As long as one stays within ones target for the day nutrient timing is low down on the list of priorities.

Drink 1 tspn apple cider vinegar 30 minutes before any meal.

Your reason for this?

Eat cinnamon before or with in the meal

Once a day is enough to stablise blood sugar, assuming the individual is following a nutrient dense diet

MOST IMPORTANT, eat every 2-3 hour and the portions should be same size. If you eat a huge breakfast and don't eat anything until lunch and then you eat huge again, i guarantee your blood sugar will spike big time. Thats why binge eating can cause acne.

While there is a certain logic and truth to this, again nutrient timing is low on the list of priorities. I eat every 3 hours. It fits my life style, good for hormonal balance (which i think is your reasoning behind this) and if you are training hard it is good to get a good dose of protein to the muscles every few hours.

However it is more important to make sure what you are eating on the top of the list of priorities as opposed to when you are eating.

Don't freak out if you miss that 3 hour window. Just concentrate on the right foods for you, nutrient timing come along later once the right food is in place.
