Small rant

I dunno if anyone else has seen it, and maybe I'm overreacting or being too dramatic but I was really really put off by this Clean & Clear commercial I saw when I was watching late night TV. Basically it was advertising to people by saying when you have a zit (no, not a breakout, not a cluster of zits or even a few, they literally just said A SINGULAR ZIT) that it's all people look at or see when they're talking to you and all they remember about you as a person. I know Clean & Clear is trying to market a product but I think that's such a hurtful way to try and sell product, especially when so many people who have ACTUALLY struggled with acne would be thrilled to find themselves with one singular pimple on their face and have probably tried countless products and spent infinite money in hopes of getting down to maybe even 3 or 4 pimples. I think a company that supposedly specializes in acne should know better. Especially the way they ended the commercial, with the girl saying "I don't want to be remembered as the girl with a zit" ... What about people who have 10, 20, or more zits? Maybe it's just an over accumulation of my frustration, insecurity and sensitivity all boiling over after dealing with my hormonal acne for months and finding nothing that's helped, but this commercial just bothered my right to my core. Anyone else seen it and feel this way or agree that it's just wrong to advertise that way? Sigh... I guess one would have to know our struggle to truly understand

Yes!! Always so irritated by ads that do this. Like, I'd be so happy to just have ONE zit once in a while instead of having to deal w/ ACTUAL acne problems and pigments/scars |:<_<

Feel your frustration!...Perhaps the ad is an indication that their product only works for the people that just have one zit?
