In my case it's the other way around, but sex is indeed overrated.

Sex is great when it's with someone you click and are both attracted to each other. This does, however, decline the longer time goes on though!

I am sure I am not alone in having frustrations with dating/sex/LTRs etc. Warning, what I post below may be TMI, but I feel it is necessary to post the details since where else on the internet is acne and all of its associated effects on oneself discussed??

Basically, about 5-10 years ago (the years in between my accutane courses), a blood test ordered by my derm revealed that I had slightly higher than normal levels of free testosterone and cortisol in my blood. Those levels are the likely reason why I suffered from cystic acne for several years in my life and aside from a few years of being clear due to the accutane, why I have had pimples popping up over time... Anyway that is the past and I am looking forward to a better future now that I have new breakouts under control with the regimen, have done major research into scar reduction surgery, and have greatly improved my diet to a gluten free and paleo one!

What sucks still is that I have a very high sex drive! I don't mean to brag when I say that I get hard if I see a fully clothed (casual dress) woman I am attracted to in a store, at a group meeting, etc! Obviously it is even worse when I browse the internet and get the temptation to look at nude women pics/videos such as reddit/gonewild sub! I get an instant wood and the urge to jerk off!

I'd much prefer it not be this way because it is very annoying!!! First off because it makes it difficult to focus on things in my life and second of all because the women I am attracted to usually aren't attracted to me due to my acne scarring on my face!!! So thusly, I have jerked off to porn almost every day since 8th grade and have in the past 5 years or so gone to the strip clubs numerous times and have seen escorts as well a few times!!! I know that I said in another thread that it seems like most humans operate very slightly above the lizard brain level of being a slightly smarter ape, but I know that most of us can be more than animals! If we put in the effort and have discipline, we can rise above our animal nature!

I have considered getting surgical castration if my sex drive does not diminish further as I get older! It has gone down some since my teens and early 20s, but not as much as I'd like it to! It almost seems like a curse or a cruel cosmic test to be a male with such high sex drive and not be able to easily have it "relieved" via regular sex with a woman!

I have the same experience.

The average person will indeed say that personality is more important than looks, but we all know how what's going on in reality. There are exceptions though, like me.

well we all different but end of day for me i can have high sex drive and masturbate a lot. I wouldnt say not having sex is a factor for me, often even if chocice of sex or masturbate i will masturbate or if having sex will still masturbate.

So thats not a problem for me at least. Maybe you see it differently? why do you NEED a women to enjoy your sex drive?
