Hey!

Someone already created "Meanest thing someone has ever said about your acne." But I like to be able to laugh and be optimistic through misfortune. Unfortunately, since I got acne, my life has turned into a super awkward mess. I would have over 30 awkward moments a week! That's an awful and traumatizing experience.

BUT, sometimes sharing these moments can help us through the pain. Might as well get SOME sort of joy from out misfortune. I'll post 2 of mine. one now, and one later on an edit.

This one happened AFTER the one I'm going to post on the edit. It's not as bad as the edit one, though.

First story

So I was back in Atlanta for 2 days, accompaning my mom to see her ex bf who was having surgery to save his life. I'm in the grocery store, and two of the hottest girls ever are just walking around the store. They spot me and are checking me out. (I looked super hot from far away) I go into the freezer isle after they dissapear, hoping they wouldn't find me. Then suddenly, out of no where, they pop up right in my face! They get blasted with my face full of cystic acne! They didn't say shit! They just stood their, frozen. I just turned and walked away quickly. I felt beyond mortified.

First story .5. I actually had 2 awkward moments on the 2 day trip. So I was in the hospital waiting room where everyone was sleeping at Emory. I had gotten terribly sick from the car ride cuz my mom likes to blast ice cold air in my face while I'm sleeping. I added nothing to do and felt painfully awful. So to feel good and pass some time, I decided I'd masturbate. I went to different floors trying to find the best place to jack off. I'd jack off in different rooms, but then get too paranoid to finish cuz I close my eyes and become almost completely oblivious when I do it. So after 5 hours of blue balls, I end up right back on my floor, in the men's bathroom, right across the hall from the room I started from. Finally!!! So I get to jerkin and I'm finally about to finish. I hear someone open the door, but I'm like "Fuck it! I don't give a fuck! I waited 5 hours for this shit!" All he could hear was fap fap fap fap fap! And he could probably see my vibrating legs from under the stall. Whoever it was gave a pissed off sigh and turned right back around and left. I finished, but I felt ashamed...

The edit isn't here yet.

P.S.

I have cured my acne naturally after getting a food sensitivity test. If you wanna know more about my cure, you can see a naturopath, and or research tests for seeing what's wrong with your system.

what kind of research tests did you do? like vitamin/mineral deficiencies?

No. I did a food sensitivity test. It was a prick test where they stab the shit out of me 40 times and drop 40 foods on all the pricks. In my opinion, it's less painful than a blood test. Also more accurate.

If you want testing, I suggest seeing a naturopath. costs money, but might save money in the long run. Plus they know what they are doing.

Some good tests are for gut health, leaky gut, sensitivity, allergy, intolerance, etc. But you should really just research and see.

@TemperaCent ....I thought that I was the only one with bleeding pimples, well besides my teenage kids when they were using their differin and ziana treatments and they would say that on the mornings after washing their faces they would have to deal with some bleeding pimples , my daughter even mentioned that once she had to go to class with a paper towel pressed to her chin.

I know, it hurts.

I had my moments too , too many to mention.

I think the most awkward thing would be when people just stare at your acne (cheek, forehead) and not your eyes when they're having a conversation with you. It makes me feel sooooo uncomfortable.

I hate that! Far away people will be like damn! in a good way and then DAMN! in a distressed way when you get closer.

My awkward moments usually involve children. They tend to point out my acne/make up. I also hate sitting with friends when the proactive commercials come on. Why did they make those commercials so long?? It's like they want us to feel bad by the end. It's become worse than sitting through a viagra or condom commercial with my mother lol. I wish I could think of a funny misfortunate story. Maybe later, it's been years so I must have something but I think I block most of it out.

What food sensitivities did you end up having?

I took a sensitivity test from my doctor and everything on the test said I was fine.

For most awkward moment, it has to be when your acne bleeds in public or at work. It makes you look like a joke of a person.

Yeah, I took an allergy test with no results. The only results I have is from a sensititivity prick test. aparently prick tests are more accurate than blood tests, or something.

There are many other things you can test for too. Like gut health, leaky gut, candida, etc.

I think you in particular need medical specialist on your side. Naturopaths are often good for that. The only problem is that not all naturopaths are good with clearing acne. You would have to find one you can trust. The one I found actually used to have acne before she naturally cleared it.

It doesn't have to be a naturopath. That's just the route I chose. If you get help from someone, just make sure they actually care about curing you and not the money you have.

I know I PM'd you, but I decided f@#! it! Someone else may have the same question

omggggg the commercials are the worst... just sitting there quietly waiting for it to end, trying to pretend to be confident even if you have a face full of acne. I never had acne till I was 23 years old and now i look back and i took for granted how easy life was with clear skin but back then i didn't even know it.
