Hello everyone im gonna share you the story of my acne, anyway im new here and i'm not very good at english so please don't bash me
if i do anything wrong.....
So i've suffered acne for almost 5 years from now, the first 3 years i don't really care about my acne,i pick and pop my pimples too much...but then when i look at korean drama,i just realize how flawless their skin is,so i wanna start, to have that kind of skin by clearing all my acne,i was too dumb because i thought it was piece of cake.....so i start with a face wash and 2 cream (night and day),not touching my face too much like picking the pimples, changing my diet, exercise.I'm actually very tired repeating these routine everyday, but it for the sake of my face, well by doing these routines it really help and improve...a bit....but i still have lots of acne and pimple and i just discover the feeling that you will had when you have so many pimples. So yea this year 2013 i still have very much acne and pimples, they not improving since last year but sometimes getting worse and sometimes it fading away, but everytime it fade away there are always new acne which strikes my face back....THEY NEVER STOP?!?
Whenever im walking around,i always look at people cheeks,to see how clean and flawless their skin are, sometimes when i see homeless guy in my street, they still have better skin than mine.Whenever people talking to me at bright place i always look the other way or cover it using my hand by pretending im wiping my eye,it's very uncormfortable and awkward.I always hate to look myself in a mirror and that time the place is too bright coz it will display my red marks.....i cant stand it anymore......sometimes i always wonder "Why me???Why im the one that had all these acne, when my friend and family have clean skin??" I've spend my time taking care of my face more than they, still they have better skin than i am.They eat greasy foods, didnt exercise, never drink 8 glass of water a day, never wear creams, etc Still...i'm the one that filled with red marks all over my face......When will this end????Right now,my last hope is the Tea tree oil.....i tried everything, but they say Tea tree oil is very good,i just hope it's not like other product i've tried.I will update,if it works on me....wish for me it works guys......if it not.....what else are there????? (Even nothing works,i will never give up)
Trust me, I think a lot of acne sufferers here have been through and are going through the same thing. I really wish you all the best in your quest for the perfect, clear face. I'm currently going through some kind of "diet", too. My derm told me to try to avoid dairy, chocolate (except the pure, dark 70% kind), fresh garlic (kinda random), sodas, spicy foods...It's probably been 5-6 months since I've eliminated dairy and my face is clearing. And I only drink water, too.
Have you gone to see a dermatologist? if it's a good derm, they could prescribe something for you. That's what I did when my acne became uncontrollable. And if it doesn't work, go back to see the derm again. Maybe you just need a few or more tries of different medications to see what works best for your skin. For some of us, it's not that easy to get clear skin just by washing your face and voila! magically clear skin. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of patience!
By the way, I'm pretty sure some of those korean actors and actresses wear a shit ton of makeup to get that flawless look, so don't be fooled! lol

Don't worry about people on T.V its all fake. Perfect mix of lighting, makeup and camera angles so don't worry about that. Since I have acne scars I am pretty observant of other peoples skin and everyone has flaws.
it's perfectly reasonable to question "Why???"
Then you turn to science and find the scientifically tested acne fighting methods, I would recommend going to a dermatologist as your first step.
You're korean and im 100% positive they have universal health care so price shouldnt be a issue unlike the Americas.
My suggestions would be to take your dermatologist advice above anyone elses on this websites including mine.
They will probably put you on 2-4 antibiotics and there is a loophole. If they do work just stop taking them 1-2 weeks prior to your visit to the dermatologist to give you a break out. Ultimately your goal should be to go on those couple of antibiotics and get accutane. Antibiotics have the risk of antibiotics resistance bacterium which can be very deadly that is why i dont like this as a long term solution.
To my knowledge only dairy has been scientifically linked to acne but since you seem to have already messed with your diets I dont think this has been much of use to you.
The most important part i want you to take from my entire post is this, MANY PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM fail to learn that genetics plays a huge role in acne. You can do all you'd like to mess with your acne, if you are genetically predisposed to acne and have tried everything you should really consider accutane. To know if you'res is genetic just look at your brothers/sisters and your 1st cousins. And if a decent percentage get zits there is a good chance your acne is genetic.
Good luck, this is the conclusion i have to come after suffering acne for 8 years. Hopefully I will be put on accutane in 6 weeks.

Yes
Also, it's good that you're not giving up. Keep it up!
And please hang in there because there's a lot of us suffering this same thing.
Plus, theres always something to be thankful for.
Like that homeless guy for example, even though he's homeless, he still has great skin which a lot of us are striving for.
For you, you may not have great skin now but you still have the comfort of home which a lot of other people who's homeless really wishes to have.
So yeah, just look on the positive side while striving for great skin.
It may be a long way there but you still have other stuff to be thankful for, instead of worrying about your face
Hey guys, the tea tree oil dosent work really good....but my skin starting to clear up ! Im just going to the point,i've been taking a multi-vitamins supplement for like 1 weeks already and it works very good for me,right now im ordering a supplement called Praventac and AG-Factor it's basicly some kind of multi-vitamin designed to clear up acne and oilly skin.I've seen the review and most of the consumer really satisfied lol,so why i don't give it a shot....Anyway i'm going to post something if those 2 products i've ordered really going to work very well....right now my face is almost clear up.Btw,i don't use much facial product,i just use 2 product that is Nivea's face wash and ST Ives scrub.Im still maintaining my diet and exercise. The real deal is the multi-vitamins that i take,if you want to ask something feel free to PM me
I understand how you feel. There is much more pressure in Asia to have beautiful skin. Heck, fair skin is like a must to be good looking almost and asian skin being 100% acne mark prone from every single blemish doesnt help lol. Also, korea gets a lot of plastic surgery (they have very good plastic surgeons) but im not saying every1 there gets em. Celebrities can afford expensive skin care so that's a big factor. They also get free treatment for advertisements and they get paid. Don't compare yourself to a celebrity, you'll just feel sad. Anyways, may i know what vitamins your multi vitamins have?
