hey guys ('- ')/
i want to ask this question:
what are you looking forward to right now? what is your aims, goals or maybe hopes?
knowing that acne is screwing with your life and takes big part of it x/
just name top 3 things. clear skin including
(sorry if this is repeat question, idk i havent following this site "in ages")
1. Spring, warmth and sun!
2. My trips to Italy, Spain, Morocco and Brazil in summer!
3. Meeting my family in April
And clear skin, of course. But it's not my priority nr 1. Even if it never clears up (hope it will, though), I want to live my life, see the world and have good memories...
1.dying
2.if I go to hell, killing Satan
3.if I go to heaven well hopefully clear skin while being surrounded by millions of women.
If nothing happens when you die well at least I don't have to be here anymore.
Very positive!
There's this video game I love where they actually shoot the king of Hell in the head. It's awesome.

I was just Googling "what happens after death" before reading your post actually. I don't think anything happens. You just go up in smoke.
Edit: apparently going up in smoke doesn't mean what I thought it did. What I meant was that I think you just disappear; one moment you're there and the next...you're not.

When you die, your body and brain stops functioning. And without the brain you can't feel or think anything, that's all. Think about some nights when you sleep very tight and don't see any dreams - that's how it's gonna be. Just, heh, forever.

I heard someone say once that waking up, having a day, then going to sleep and waking up the next day might be a symbol for a bigger picture where people are born, they live, they die and then they are born again. I don't know if I think that's likely but I thought it was an interesting thought.
What about the 21 grams you lose when you die. Really I dont think anybody knows shit not even google when we die well find out.
Ultimately no one knows everything but we all know something. I think we should know better at this point than to hold on to the antiquated idea of people having a soul which is eternal. I think there is more to us than we are aware of but it's obvious that certain ideas belong to the past. I should stop talking about this now as the conversation is getting off-topic.

Interesting point, but we know that our brain is very busy during the night organizing and archiving, sending electric impulses to the forebrain which analyzes them and try to make sense of them - it's then we dream. Besides, many important hormones are secreted and the body get repaired for the next day. So many things happen during our sleep which makes me think this metaphor is not really suiting

That's another thing he said; that after people die, they "have a bit of a dream" just before starting a new life. But I see where you are coming from.
It's a strange world. One thing I heard is that if you were to try to go through a wormhole in space you wouldn't arrive at the other end. Instead there will then be two of you. One on both sides of the hole. So you'd have made a copy of you! It's all very strange.
By the way, your English is very good.
I came across this post again:
What about the 21 grams you lose when you
die. Really I dont think anybody knows shit not
even google when we die well find out.
That's when you know you've stumbled on a
genuine mystery; when even through Googling it
you don't find the answer.

yle_emoticons/default/lol.gif I'm sorry but
the way sum1killme writes is just funny.
http://www.acne.org/messageboard//public/st
yle_emoticons/default/lol.gif I know it was a
serious post but it's just the way you express
yourself that makes me laugh.
Anyway, I'm not looking forward to much at the
moment. I couldn't name three things.
http://www.acne.org/messageboard//public/st
yle_emoticons/default/ermm.gif It sucks.
It alright many of my post have some pretty dark humor in it, you have to laugh at your pain somtimes to make it feel different.

There is no scientific evidence or reason to think that some substance lives in our body and parts after we die. It ridiculous to claim "nobody knows the truth!" when science is so advanced it's possible to count the size of Eagle Nebula, 600500 light years away from us or make artificial limbs and attach them to disconnected nerves. There is no mystery in science world, only the puzzles that haven't been solved YET. Don't forget that some time ago thunder and lightning was unexplainable, but today it's well know fact.
The earlier you'll realize that there is no afterlife the more you'll learn to appreciate your life as a one time chance.
What a lucky coincidence that somewhere in a vast universe on an inhabitable piece of rock flying at a speed of 107,300 km/h around a star that is not even close to the largest known star, a particular combination of atoms became "you". And with this I am not aiming to show off any knowledge, it just makes me angry how people are tricked into thinking that their life is in hands of some high force which will lead their souls into a peaceful serenity, instead of valuating themselves as unique as they are and living right now.
