My acne has been the worst it been for awhile and i feel like nobody in my family understands what im going through. They ask the most irritating comments like why is your face so bad or why are you breaking out? i tell them if i knew i dont think i would have acne. Its hard coming from a family where nobody has acne and all of a sudden you cousin comes in with a tiny zit and say ugh im breaking out. im like girl you dont know what its like to breakout and i wish i had you skin. i just feel like i cant even look in the mirror after washing my face because i will just break down in tears. i have been avoiding going out lately because i have cysts on face where you can clearly see them even through makeup. My mom tells me why are you home and i feel lame spending Friday and Saturday night home but if it saves me from the stares i will do it.

Im going to start the regimen soon and hopefully it helps. im optimistic that it cant get any worse than it is now. :)

Reminds me of this story of this village that thinks there's a dragon around so they all stay inside. But it turns out that the "dragon" is just a guy in a costume. The dragon ain't there babe. The dragon ain't there... The only dragon that exists is the one in your mind. So conquer that dragon, Victoria. Conquer this vile beast and live in peace!

I'm sorry, I'm just trying to cheer you up in my own weird manner.

Seriously now, I've "been there" in the sense that I too was "disturbed" by "the stares" but honestly... A lot of the time people are less busy with you and your appearance as you might think. That isn't to say that nobody reacts to anything like a cyst or a zit or scar or a birthmark or a whatever when they see one but seeing people react in whatever way is only upsetting if you value other people's opinions too much or draw the wrong conclusions from other people's reactions...and so forth. You may not control your acne (yet) but you do control the way you think/approach things.

I hope that helps a tiny bit.

Your looks don't matter hun.

Cysts or no cysts, there are more important things in life besides the condition of your skin.

Take a deep breath and brush all the negativity off your chest.

If you think positive, life will be positive.

Grab a hobby and go shine like a star, with cysts or without it.

Hi :) I don't know if you have tried it before but vitamin d can help acne, I tried it myself and it helped me. Vitamin D can only really be obtained in adequate amounts from the sun so during winter it is in limited supply.

Doing some research online I learnt that this is the reason why many people have worse acne during the winter. You should try it, it is really cheap online :) hope this helps you, good luck with whatever treatment method you choose.
