Still in the adaptation phase.

I'm starting my second week and my face feels like it burns like napalm in the morning. My skin is red, but I can see that some spots are gradually being removed. I can't use it twice a day because it burns too much. I have been using jojoba oil and it is helping but the flaking continues. I hope my skin clears up. I suffer from moderate acne.

Hi, I would trying a gel cream mousterizer. I use the byoma one at ulta that has niacinamide and green tea and it definitely helps with redness. Also make sure you are not using benzoyl peroxide at the same time you apply acids or retinol because that can also irritate skin. Use a hydrating cleanser then benzoyl peroxide and then gel cream. If benzoyl peroxide is too strong try using gel cream then benzoyl peroxide. Just advice from another acne patient who is studying medicine.

Exceptional

I don't normally post reviews, but I felt like these products needed one. If you are thinking about buying the regimen, do it! I had a massive outbreak after some health issues, and nothing was helping my skin. I felt so self conscious, and did not know what to do, especially because I never had breakouts so bad in the past. Within a couple days of diligently applying the regime, my skin was noticeably clearer. Within a few weeks, my skin was totally better, without scars too! Now a year later, my skin is still good, and sudden breakouts don't last as long.

If I had to critique something, it would be that maintaining clear skin is only maintainable when all 3 products are used properly (wash, cream, and lotion). I found that when I would only use the wash and benzoyl creme, my skin would still flare up- Mostly because I got lazy with always doing it 2x a day and felt the lotion didn't do anything (I was wrong lol). However, when using all 3 2 x a day my skin stays good. I mean, its not a complaint against the products because they are designed to work together- but it adds up always having to buy the three products just to maintain the skin. But for me, its worth it because it really does works.

The best acne treatment

I’ve been using this system for years and it is by far the best acne treatment I have ever tried and I’ve tried many. My skin feels better immediately after using the products and my skin is the best it’s ever been. I know some don’t like the licochalcone in the moisturizers because it’s yellow but I love it. My skin calms down so much and I dont notice a yellow tint.

Also the best value for acne products hands down. The benzoyl peroxide is the best out there. It works way better than any of the 10% creams I’ve bought and doesn’t leave a white residue. I buy the bulk kits and they last for months. Not only has my acne improved but with the aha my overall skin texture has improved. My skin would be perfect if I was more consistent using the products. Can’t recommend this stuff enough.

Here are pictures of my break outs before and after using the acne regimen from here. I starting breaking out 2 years ago around the month of September I believe and I really did not know what had caused my break out. I usually don?t get acne but in my case these break out were pretty bad. To my luck I came across this website as I was trying to find ways to clear my acne/pimples and remove acne scars. After trying it out I starting noticing a change probably about 2-3 weeks in but I kept using it until about 2 months later I stopped the treatment and moisturizer and have only been using it when I start to break out a bit again and trust me, this thing works like MAGIC. My break out would clear the next day or two. The treatment bottle and moisturizer bottled are still full. And believe it or not I still am using the same cleanser bottle! For almost 2 years I have been using the same cleanser bottle!!! A little goes a long way! I am very happy with my results :)

Thank you Acne.Org for making me happy in my own skin again

I never write reviews but I am SO happy with my progress and want anyone whose looking at this and having doubts to take the plunge because it?s honestly the best! I have lost a load of my before photos due to my phone resetting so these are the only ones I could find on my phone but I?m still shocked at how bad my skin was compared to how clear it is now. I am honestly so happy in my own skin for once and feel confident to go out without makeup which I never would have done before.

I was previously given Roaccutane from the dermatologist and that cleared my skin up I?m  talking 10 years ago and then it got bad again around 1-2 years ago. I have spent thousands on skin care regimes, retinol and skin peels you name it I?ve tried it! I have also been to the doctors and tried prescribed skincare from them however nothing worked seemed to work. The doctors also tried to get me to go on the pill to clear my skin which I think is outrageous and I refused as I feel that you shouldn?t have to rely on a tablet pumping you with hormones to have nice skin!  I?ve finally found something that works, thank you Acne.Org

My cousin recommended this to me and I bought it in May and the photos where my skin is clear were  taken on Sunday in Oct. Stick with it it?s SO worth it!!

Been a loyal user for 10 years

BEST treatment on the market. Reasonably priced and worked miracles (for me). Started way back in high school when adolescent acne first hit me in the face like a brick. I was embarrassed and willing to try anything. After trying and using it religiously (2x a day), much of my worst acne cleared up significantly within months. 10 years later, now at 26, my genetics and pubescent hormones have backed off but I still use the Regimen to take good care of my skin and prevent stress (and bad genetic related) acne.

Truthfully, as advice on their packaging/website suggest, it took a looong time before my face was acclimated to the strong 'medicine' present in the Benzol Peroxide. And everyone's body/skin chemistry is likely different. But for me, after weeks of ramping up usage slowly, BP quickly became my best friend in reducing inflammation/whiteheads. Any flaking or irritation following use of the BP became a non-issue after a while. The cleanser and BP were absolutely bomb and the most useful parts of the Regimen. Moisturizer (for my already intensely oily skin) was sometimes overkill and I only ended up using it longterm about 1-2x a WEEK... if I used it at all. All throughout college, I just survived on the BP. Glycolic Acid, which I recently only discovered post-college (~23 y.o.) was also a game changer. My face, after years of on and off Regimen use, reacted fine to it... albeit it pretty red in the mornings at first (I mean it's a chemical face mask what do you expect). And I only used 1x a week. This one has quickly become a go-to of mine for when I'm experiencing a bad stress breakout. I'll use an AHA mask and by morning, things are cleared up.

Be patient, be consistent, and be gentle with your skin

I just finished my 3rd week on the regimen and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had never experienced severe acne, I had more of a moderate acne which would get a little worse around that time of the month and my skin used to be super red all the time, especially around my cheeks and chin. The first week and onto the 2nd week on the regimen I got a little breakout (as it is stated on the acne.org website) and i had read about that prior to starting the regimen so I did not freak out. But that cleared up very quickly. My face got super super super dry and flaky at the end of 1st week and all 2nd week. I went on youtube and search for videos and found that some people who use the regimen use some sort of face oil to exfoliate. (keep in mind, I haven't started using the AHA glycolic acid yet because the instructions says to start that only after being on the regimen for a month) So since I use jojoba oil with the moisturizer to help with dryness, I did what people suggested on youtube and went ahead and exfoliated my face using just jojoba oil and my finger tips (gently doing circular motions all over my face) It worked! This happened the 3rd week. My skin is naturally oily but im loving the extra moister because of how dry I got from the benzoyl peroxide(the treatment). I haven't been able to wear any makeup, I did try putting on makeup and it just looked terrible due to the peeling and dryness. But I do not care at this point, my skin is acne free, the only thing I gotta work on from now on is fading the scarring from old acne. SO FAR SO GOOD. Thank you Acne.org for boosting up my confidence and self-esteem. I hope that in a couple of weeks I can wear some makeup though, I miss getting all dolled up :) <3

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I haven't been on the regimen for that long and I believe my skin will get even clearer and smoother as time goes.

my skin seems to have an allergic reaction

Hello. I was actually really looking forward to using the regimen, and also expectet great results, but now i regret even buying it.

I was on day 14 of the 3 step regimen (cleanser, treatment, moistrizer) and was using the products according to the instructions. (I didn't use any other products for the last two weeks) I woke up this morning with my skin feeling extremely itchy and red. It looks like got a sunburn all over my face. I am not sure, but I suspect my skin reacted allerigic to one of the products, probaby the benzoyl peroxide?

Obviously I won't be using it again, which is really upsetting since I spent quite a lot of money on the skincare products.
