    Ziana Gel

My progress on Ziana Gel. Ive attached pictures to show how my skin looks after every week or so. I started Ziana December 1 2014, I experienced burning sensation sometimes due to using too much of the product. Not too much peeling, but I have oily skin. I didn't experience dryness, again due to oily skin..I believe. Ziana started working for me instantly. Reduced breakouts and helped breakouts heal faster, also helped dark spots shrink at a decent pace. Since using Ziana, I dont have t

    Week 2

I have been using my topical creams Finacea Gel and Ziana Gel for about a week now. I have been applying Finacea Gel after washing my face in the morning. I have been applying Ziana Gel after removing my makeup and washing my face at night. I apply moisturizer to my face after the the gel's have absorbed into my skin for a few minutes. My skin looks worse than before I started using these topical treatments...I hope that this is just my skin purging. I understand that retanoids take a few months

    New Topical Treatments

I received full sizes of my new topical treatments today. Ziana (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and tretinoin 0.025%) Gel Finacea (azelaic acid) Gel, 15% I have been using samples from my dermatologist for the past few days. I have been applying finacea in the morning and ziana in the evening after cleansing my face. I have not noticed any side effects such as drying or irritation (I use CeraVe moisturizing cream and Cetaphil daily moisturizer with spf 15 when I know I will be in the sun). I have
  4. Hi there. Here is the information... and then I have a few questions. Any help or information would be much appreciated! I got prescribed Ziana gel at the end of this December(2014) mainly for small deeper white heads I would get on my chin/hyperpigmentation marks on my chin from when I used to squeeze the deep but usually small white heads I would get... I also used to squeeze the creases of my nose to get black heads/white heads out which has made the creases always red and a few noticeabl

    Day 19. Ziana And Aczone.

I'm 90 percent sure my skin is purging. Lots of active little pimples on my chin and a couple on the left side of my face. I expected a purging period since my skin hates me, ha. It is only the beginning of my third week with these medications so I'm hoping it'll start to get better next week when I hit the one month mark. Especially since I start school on Tuesday. I'd rather not show up with a face full of breakouts. I do find that the aczone helps with redness though! My skin is still slightl
  6. Hi! My name is Brooke. Let me start out with describing my (within the past 6 months) skin type. On my worst days, my skin is only moderately severe. But, to me, It was awful: I've never had blemishes for (pretty much) my whole life. I gave it a good six months before I took a visit to my dermatologist yesterday. These little guys are really stubborn, and they follow the contour of my cheek bones pretty severely. Being a fresh, new-to-the-industry cosmetologist (hair and makeup artist) I need a

    Differin 3% Experience

I decided I wanted to tell people about my experience with differin so I figured I would start a blog on here! Background on my skin, I started getting acne when I was in 6th grade, never severe but pretty moderate. Then my freshman year I decided to go on birth control to see if it would help, and it did a little bit but not much. During my sophomore year i found out I have sensitive skin that reacts badly to benzoyl peroxide, harsh face scrubs, and some other random things. Lucky me, right? At
  8. I am a 20 year old female and I have been to my first ever dermatologist appointment on October 3, where my doctor had prescribed me aczone gel. The only issue was my insurance doesn't cover it! And after waiting a week I was denied the gel because there are other things that my insurance covers that can "treat" me. I go back to my dermatologist on November 7 and I'm only looking for a topical from my dermatologist. I REFUSE to take any type of oral medication! I am taking probiotics and eating
