  1. hi! i have a lot of questions and need some quick advice but i'm going to give some background info / my personal experience first (just skip down to the questions if you would like!) BACKGROUND INFO- okay so i've had mild to moderate acne on and off since i was about 12 (in 15 now). i used to get pimples only on my forehead and they were never big at all. usually skin colored so they never really bothered me. i would also get blackheads around my nose but they were not noticeable. ( my mot
  2. UPDATE: It's shingles I guess I'm glad it's not the accutane, but the rash is super painful! If anyone experiences a similar outbreak, go see your derm ASAP. Shingles needs to be treated within 72hrs to prevent long-term nerve damage. Hey all, sorry for the long explanation to follow, I've tried finding this issue elsewhere to no avail, so I have to start at the beginning. I'm on my second month of Clarus brand Accutane (20mg/day) and things are starting to get a little grim. Though my
  3. So i finished a six month course of accutane on April first. so its been a little over a month since finishing. It was my second course, and i took it for persistent comendonal acne (every single pore on my face filled with a hard long sebum plug), not cystic/hormonal. Bottom line, it did not work for me. yes you read that correctly, accutane did not work. and i weigh 110 and took 60 mg the entire time. My whole 6 month course my skin looked the worse its ever been, and once i stopped taking i s

    Differin 0.1

So i have started differin 0.1% gel from january 19th its been 7 weeks i guess. My skin is not getting better in any way. I have large pore n acne and black heads on ma upper cheeks and white heads on my nose n chin. Full of white heads..tiny tiny full..its disgusting. Differin from 7 weeks has done nothing good to whiteheads either as its said whiteheads are the mildest form of acne and are easy to treat. But my aint going. And i have got rashes on my neck, back of ears. I have got wounds on my
  5. Please help me to heal these wounds , i poped them before 1-2 months but they still stay fresh and red idk are they scars or wounds, can please anyone help me to heal these scars faster ? I hope you recommend me something noncomedonic, because my pores get clogged to fast, i can't even work out because when i work our pores get clogged in seconds....
  6. hey guys. something i struggle with a lot is acne scabbing and wounds. No matter if i pick at my skin or not, due to the thinness of just having come off accutane my skin scabs. My scabs aren't the tiny "hard" kind that flake away, they're more really thin layers of skin peeled away and is now bright red and dry (if i let it dry). since accutane did not work for me, i now get the same amount of breakouts but my skin is severely compromised in terms of how well it can heal...and I've had to face
