  1. Hey everyone, I started my accutane adventure on the 19th June, so today I have just finished my 16th week. I weigh 140lbs and I took 30mg for the first four weeks and 40mg for the following twelve. I last saw my dermatologist on the 11th September (twelve weeks into the course) and, seeing as she knew I was moving to Spain on the 17th, she prescribed me eight more weeks but told me to 'stop when I was ready, which could only take four weeks but could take six or even eight'. Great.
  2. It's almost scary how accurate that weekly predictions list on the homepage has been for my Regimen progress. No new acne for me at all on week 4, and now it's around 5 or 6 and I feel them cropping up again. It's in the places I used to get my worst cysts, so I'm pretty down in the dumps. What is about weeks 5-8 (or just that general time frame) that makes some breakouts come back? And I could really use some reassurance right about now from any of you on the regimen, who had them come ba

    Wai Diet Thread

Hi everyone! I created this thread so that you can post your experiences with Wai Diet. There is a pinned thread for Paleo Diet, so I'd like to ask moderators to pin this thread too, please! I've been on Wai Diet for 9 months and I've been 99 to 100% clean since week 3. Before, I had moderate acne, with lots of inflammation. I used to have between 20 and 40 pimples, full of pus, spread all over my face. Notice that I burned my whole face and frontal neck 2 years ago (I'm 20 btw), wit

    Differin Through the Weeks

Hello! :> I just recently found this community, and I'm so glad I did. I'd like to have other people who I can relate to and who I can encourage and be encouraged with. Anyways, I'm making this post to keep track of my Differin product usage, and how it affects my skin. I've heard good things about it, and I'd like to see a post on how it affects people with my skin type (oily, not sensitive) over the long run. I'll also be adding in the rest of my daily skin regime/water intake. I'll m
  5. Hello guys! I am fairly new to the regimen; I started at the very beginning of June -- not using Dan's exact products, but using products that I had carefully vetted. I am trying very hard to stick to his instructions about application. I just got some of his products in the mail, so I'm excited to start using them! Truly, I just want to be able to wear makeup because I WANT to, and not because I'm too ashamed to go out without it. That's when I'll know I'm satisfied. I have a few questions.
  6. Hi! I am new to Acne.org despite having acne for five years now. My acne started when I was 13 and I immediately started using salycylic acid and benzoyl peroxide on it. It worked to control my acne in the beginning but lost its touch after a couple years. Every year my acne got worse and I tried many natural treatments that I've pretty much exhausted. I didn't have good health insurance so it was hard for me to see a dermatologist. This year I saw one and he prescribed me Retin-A 0.05. I wear a
  7. Hi so i started epiduo but I'm from Canada so its called Tactupump and i have slme general questions and open to any advice to anyone who used it. 1. How long did it take you to notice it was working? 2. How long did it take to reach the point of clear skin? 3. Did you experience an initial breakout? If so how many weeks in? 4. What kind of skin would you say this product is made for?
