  1. Day 29 When I woke up my skin looked better than the night before (I had a major whitehead breakout on my chin on day 28) I still had a few whiteheads on my chin but resisted popping My skin was super dry and flaky this day. Not sure why. I applied a little extra moisturizer today. Day 30 Ill take a photo of my skin tomorrow morning and eventually post to show my before and after (1 month progress) My skin is showing steady improvement everywhere except my chin. id
  2. Please answer the week 3 poll! WEEK 2 RECAP By day 15, the breakout i got a few days before was beginning to show sign of improvement, but not fast enough. On day 16, my birthday, my skin improved greatly. Still very red but no big active pimples anymore. On Day 17-18 i saw further improvement and i concluded that the breakout was over. I think/hope that was my initial breakout. By day 19-20 i noticed my skin getting a little dry again. There was on scaley

    Week 1

So! I'm on a pretty low dose.. and sometimes I'm concerned because I think "will this be as effective???" but other times I'm grateful because the side effects of isotretinoin do freak me out. Is anyone else on/has taken 30 mg/day? What was your experience like? How long were you on it for? So far, in 1 week, I have some less zits, and the zits I get are small and go away quickly. I'm doing all I can not to pick. My skin is super oily, more oily than normal I think... but I was expect

    The Beginning

So like everyone else in this "community" i have ACNE! And just like everyone else i've tried everything on the self and even went to a Dermatologist. Nothing worked or seemed to work until i tried this regimen. I wanted to try the regimen out first before purchasing the system because in the past i've spent alot of money on products that don't work! I feel that in the near future i will be ordering it because for the last month i've used alot of the Neutrogena On the Spot (2 bottles). My first
  5. Hello, Well it's been exactly one month since I started taking Isotretinoin... a little over 4 weeks. I was doing fine in the beginning breakout-wise but in the past few days... actually the past like 2 days, I've broken out in 3-4 pimples on my cheek. Quite the downer especially because, even though they're not cysts or anything, they're not small, and they get white and hard. So I just popped them and surely white stuff squirted out (ew) but I know I shouldn't pop them.. but I can't leave
  6. what exactly the effect/damage is? its said u gotta wait ~4-6 weeks after session to let collagen rebuild (also rebuild or grow new one????) BUT U GOTTA REMEMBER tht we all r agiiiiingggg! since age of 15 we r all getting oldass every day so does anyone know WHAT IS THE SPEED THAT COLLAGEN ACTUALLY GOES AWAY/BREAKS DOWN?? bcs is it even slower than tht boost we r trying to achieve from dermarolling/stamping or anything else? and how does it makes sense to get scar filled and
  7. I just started taking one 20mg pill per week. NOT per day. I tried 40mg per day a while back and didn't get very far due to the side effects. so it has been about a week so far on 20mg/week, obviously not going to see any results yet but I am looking for others to share their experience with taking a low dose course like mine so i can get a general understanding of how long it usually takes for people to see positive results with this kind of dose. so please share your experience(s), there are n
  8. I have been taking birth control pills for 3 weeks now, and the time has come for my week without taking the pills. My skin has stopped breaking out as much in the past 3 weeks, I'm hoping that means that the pill is helping. But I want to know whether during this week off I'm likely to get a breakout?
  9. So this morning means it has almost been a full week since I started The Regimen and I started using basic washes I have at home (But acne.org stuff came this morning): Wash: BeautiControl wash (lotion) BP: BeautiControl spot treatment with 2% BP Moisturizer: Meleluca Renew & BeautiControl Overnight lotion I have also done 3 facials in between: 1.) Sea Salt hot press followed by Black tea bag (this on my cystic acne: worked like a charm) done on clean skin. 2.) a Honey mask a couple
  10. Well, It has officially been 12 weeks. I have literally 3 bumps, small. So this has worked for me. Im just waiting to see what happens with my spots because they have faded a TEENY bit, its gonna take a while, but atleast I don't really have ACNE on my face right now, its just spots left from acne. I suggest you use this regimen, you don't have to, im just making a friendly suggestion. When on this regimen, don't pick anything, because although it clears those spots it takes a while, so I re
  11. hi to all its me the guy from Chile; its ok this regimen ?! for me yes its ok
  12. Well it's been a week and 4 days on the regimen and things are starting to look up! The downsides at the moment are the serious pain and stinging when I put the moisturiser on! Oh my god it literally hurts so much.. The other downside is the dryness but to be honest I'm not really bothered about it at the moment because as soon as I put the moisturiser on it goes so I don't really see it as a problem. The major changes that have happened in the last few days is that my skin seems to be g
  13. So It's almost week 3. I'm just writing because I've noticed some changes.. like a break out on my cheek! It's not super bad. It just gets my mind spinning of how bad it could get. BUT I must choose not to freak out and to remain calm. Everyday is different.. some days my lips are super dry, other days my chin or right next to my nose is flaky/peeling, other days after I wash my face before bed my face is super red. Welll... redder than I'm used to. Other days my eyes are dry. My skin is st

    Week 2

Hello! I'm a little late but whatevs. So, so far everything's been going fine. Like I mentioned before, my skin got really oily at first (or at least had an oily look) but was also flaky dry, which was annoying and made me self-conscious but I could handle it (I've had years of skin problems, come on). Now my skin is less oily appearing but still a bit dry, but which lotion day and night it's not bad at all. I barely have any pimples, though my hyperpigmentation is still there. I tried squee
  15. First, Some advice that I found REALLY works: If you have a pimple, and you popped it(like what i did 2 days ago), and its all red around, or maybe you didnt pop it, but its still red or inflammed in any way, what I did right after I popped it, and what you can do even if it isnt popped is get a cube of ice and put it in a wash cloth and place it on the pimple or area. Keep it there for a while... I kept mine for like 7 minutes, then go into the bathroom and put a mask on that one area, the
  16. Hello all (or actually, hello myself because judging by the wealth of comments I'm the only one reading this hehe).. So, last entry I complained about a lip issue that is, sadly, still affecting me. It has definitely improved a LOT but I showed no allergic reaction to vaseline and aquaphor (duh) so I have no idea what originally caused my lips to get tiny bubbles/blisters and swell and peel like that. They're still peeling. I'm using Fucibet cream but the derm told me to use it until toda
  17. This is my update after completing my first week on the Acne.org regimen. Before starting the first week I had about 4-5 cystic acne pimples along my jaw on the right side of my face, and the left side was relatively clear. I had a few small blemishes on my forehead also. The first day, my skin felt very dry and itchy. When I woke up for day two, I could see my pimples flaking up as if they were literally being dried up. This gave me a lot of of hope, and by day 3, the majority of my acne pimple
  18. I finished my second week of accutane a few days ago and my skin is blemish free! It’s been years since I’ve had not one spot on my face! My skin hasn’t broken out in over a week now but I’ve noticed that in certain lights my skin does look more uneven and my pores look larger. I’ve read from other people’s blogs that their pores became less visible after a few months so I’m hoping this happens with me too. My lips and skin aren’t as dry anymore so I haven’t felt the need to use moisturiser
  19. From the album: Regimen Progress

This was taken after four days of starting Dan's Regimen and a week before that of using a LOT of epiduo (2.5% BP). Have had breakouts on my right cheek and chin area.
  20. Hi guys! I've been on accutane for almost a month now (I'm on week 4). I still havent experienced really dry skin to the point where its flakey. The only time it actually got a bit flakey was around week 2/3 where it started to flake around my nose and mouth. The oil in my face has been reduced though. I have moderate acne, and I'm still breaking out. I was on 20mg a day, in the first week, and then went up to 40mg, which is what I'm taking right now (the dermatologist told me to do so). I w
  21. Alright, Well i've been on this treatment for 7 weeks and I do see improvement, my face feels smoother cause I have less bumps, and truly I dont have any other pimples besides an inside bump on my chin thats going away, 1 small one on my right cheek, and like 3 really tiny bumps with no head on my left jaw bone area. Otherwise when i feel my face it soft and smooth, now im just left with alot of scars and those are whats really the only things getting on my nerves. I can deal with these sever
  22. Please answer the week 2 poll! WEEK 2 RECAP By day 8 I saw improvement where my skin wasnt as dry, and by day 9 my skin had mostly adjusted to the adapelene and was no longer dry. (I still get a flakey patch here and there but nothing like i had the first week.) Over week 2, the redness of my skin was a rollercoaster. It was good on day 8-10 but for some reason day 11 brought about a wave of redness and irritation On Day 12 I experienced a moderate breakout on my f
  23. Well I'm now starting the second week of the regimen (cleanser, treatment and moisturiser) so this week I've upped the dosage by applying a pea size amount of BP morning and night rather than just at night. My skin is look alright, I've got a lot of whiteheads come up but not to bad, I was expecting a lot worse! My skins not itchy anymore, but does sting a lot! If you have any questions feel free to ask me (:
  24. Alright it has now been 6 weeks and 5 days since ive been doing this treatment, I havent missed a day, except one night i missed 1 diane 35 pill (i still did the other treatments) and I did what the directions said and took two the next day and continued as normal afterward. Ive seen improvements, I still have bumps but I think im gonna wait longer because many people said within their 7-10 weeks they saw results not the 6th, and your actually supposed to give it 3 months, and I have seen some i
  25. Please answer the week 4 poll! WEEK 3 RECAP By day 22-23, i saw major improvement. Minimal redness and my skin looked its best in a long time! On day 24 i got 3 little whiteheads near the corner of my mouth that stayed quite inflamed, even today (the 28th). On Day 26 i went to the dermatologist By day 27 i was still seeing lots of improvement aside from the 3 whiteheads mentioned before Day 28 i suddenly broke out on my chin Skin Condition My chin is b
