  1. From the album: the regimen week 3

it looks like its spreading so frustrated
  2. So I am done with week 3 and going in week 4 already ! time is passing by so fast which is a good thing while on roaccutane . So sadly I am in the bad phase now, the past week I had break outs and it seems like acne are taking longer to heal (or at least to puff down). The past week my nose was very bumpy and rough, it seems like the blackheads on my nose are coming out which made the texture of my nose very rough and weird. Even though I know I am not suppose to do any scrubbing while on ro

    End Of Week 2

So earlier this week I posted a half way post mid-week 2...still not sure if I was experiencing the initial breakout, or not, since most of the reviews I've read don't mention it until week 3...which I'm just about to embark on! Upped my dosage to 40mg today and will keep it so for another month before seeing my derm for a blood test and update on the treatment. I have switched my moisturiser to 'simple everyday moisture' as it's a little less oily and I don't think that the accutane ha
  4. I'm busy at school that's why I decided to make my reports one a week (or twice maybe) instead of daily reports! So, It's bad on my chin. 5 new white guests. They were not invited to the party ;( I put BP at 12 AM today and 2 poped themselves. About redness: The area where I put the BP is visible but not red as a very irritated zone. (even it's a little bit "tanned") About Dryness: It's very dry after using the Cleanser but not during the day or th night (except this night) I decided to i

    Week 3 Accutane

I am now on week 3 of 30mg/day roaccutane + 2 prednisolone pills (cba to check spelling, think its right tho). I suffered a 'second' IB around the end of week 2, when my antibiotics but since then its been great. I have one active lesion on my face, which I didn't expect. Before that, after IB settled, I didn't even think about my skin, only occasionally in some lighting. Once this lesion goes it will be much the same. To go from literally constantly looking at my skin, to not caring due to its
  6. hi, so i'm on my week 3 now (day 4) and i've been breaking out on my right cheekbone, nose and eyebrows.... i started breaking out in those areas when i started the regimen. is it okay? will they go away? when do you usually stop getting pimples? i'm so stressed
  7. Hi ! I'm on the middle of week 3 of the regimen and I noticed redness during week 2 (not so much). Sometimes my skin prickles after BP application (and sometimes after Mosturizer too) What about this ? Too much of BP ? (I put a half finger and I mosturize a lot to limit dryness) Thanks for your anwsers!

    End Of Week 3

Apologies, normally I update this on a Friday - little late this week... But I have successfully completed week 3 of my course, one week on 40mg and the side effects are definitely there: - I don't even have to re=powder my make-up, there is literally NO oil on my face. No flaking (yet) as I have read from other peoples experiences and no redness either (I'm sure I have all of that to look forward to!). - There has been an explosion of black heads around my t-zone area and my nose
  9. Overall, my skin is responding well to the Regimen. I have some noticeable flakiness around my nose, cheeks, and chin, but the moisturizer I use seems to take care of it. Instead of getting 1-3 new pimples each week, I've only gotten two so far on the regimen: one on my forehead and one on my cheek. I think both are visible in this week's entry.
  10. My third week of Accutane is over! My face had gotten a little worse if anything, my chin has broken out in about 5 spots but luckily they have all been small and don’t last very long. My nose seems to be covered in blackheads which I never really noticed before but I guess everything is being pushed out and it just means it’s working. I know I shouldn’t but I’ve been using epiduo on my chin and nose to try and help. In terms of side effects I’ve recently started getting bad headaches as well
  11. Uh oh. Here we go. Fist day of my third week and everything is coming up now: closed comedones on forehead, chin, and around mouth popping up at the same time. Not too upset though as they will be gone in less than a week because these heal very fast for me. I'm glad that I can see the effects of differin now! However dreading how long this is gonna last Flaking has subsided a lot but skin is still very sensitive and on the dryer side.
  12. Hi! I'm 22 years old and have been on the regimen with acne.org products for a total of three weeks now. I was slowly increasing the amount of BP on the face (like it says to do) & at week 3 I was doing about one full pump of BP morning & night. My skin by the end of the week is so incredibly dry, not a single spot on my face feels like soft normal skin. Last night I washed my face and started the regimen around 10:30pm then finished applying moisturizer and jojoba oil a little after 11p
  13. All the original breakouts have gone now but I have a whole new set of pimples with whiteheads! Two days ago I thought that all the whiteheads had dried up but they're having another party so I'm not too pleased at the mess. They're mainly on my T zone. I admit that I have been touching my face too much as the skin is so dry; I've been picking and rubbing at it. I really need to stop! I'm hoping that once my skin gets more used to the BP it won't be so itchy and I won't be as tempted. The th
  14. So I'm into my third week and before this, I hadn't noticed any huge changes in my skin besides it getting extremely oily, and I actually thought it was looking a little better. But I always knew the initial breakout would come and now it's here. I have huuuge pimples on each side of my cheeks, jawline, and chin. I was never one to get blackheads but now I have a ton on/around my nose, upper lip, and chin. The texture of my face feels terrible, really bumpy almost like sandpaper. That's definite
  15. From the album: the regimen week 3

no change in skin perhaps worse
  16. Today marks my 3 weeks and my skin hates me. My skin doesn't even feel like skin anymore. I have never seen it so dry in my life. I try everything to allow it to stay moisturized but it just cracks and flakes. I have been getting around 8 pimples (With a white head) 4 on each side of my chin every single day. I have stopped using making up about a week ago for good so I understand it may still be because of irritation from the makeup I used two weeks ago. But dam my skin hurts so bad and it fill
