  1. Hello! About 2-2.5 weeks ago, I started drinking 3-5 cups/day of green tea, as well as mixing it in with my daily moisterizer (Aveeno Clear Complection), which I apply 3-5 times per day. Over the course of 1 week, I noticed this made a huge improvement, but it was not clearing up everything. Then, I began taking Zinc (25mg/day), Vitamin B6 (100% DV), Vitamin B12 (100% DV), Vitamin C(>100%), and Brewer's Yeast (6 tablets a day w/food) in addition to Vitamin A (100% DV), which I had already be

    Oily Forehead: Weather Related?

I am a 21 year old male. I was a senior in highschool in 2010, this is when I first started noticing I had oily greasy forehead skin. In fact, someone pointed it out to me one day and said my head looked really really shiny and made a big deal about it. I still never had hardly even a single zit. After the summer of 2011 I started breaking out horrendously. It was god awful and it was certainly severe acne. (around this time I also got a yorkie dog. I notice that when I take him to the
  3. Hi! I've had pretty bad skin for a while. I'm finally starting to get it under control (Thank goodness). I have a problem though. I live in the south, which has a very humid climate, which I think my skin really likes. This summer, for about 8 weeks, I'm taking a trip out west where its much drier(Utah, Nevada, Arizona, etc). I'm worried that the dry weather will cause issues with my skin and I really dont want that. So, I'm looking for a moisturizer which has: 1. sunscreen 2. good moisturiz
  4. So I've attached a picture depicting how flat my outer cheeks look after using isotrex for around a month and a half now. My forehead, t zone and chin are all bumpy still however. But my skin IS improving. I've been using nip fab glycolic cleanser for a few weeks too, which is fabulous and apparently good for closed comedones as it contains just 2% glycolic acid. However - I always see improvements around this time of year. My thoughts are either this is due to the weather change, as tempe
  5. Hi I have been struggling with face acne since i was teenager. Now i m 28 years old and still struggling. I basically tried everything. Being on accutane (isotretinoin) twice but acne keeps coming back. Tried exercise, food adjustments, dietary ( being lactose free and glucose free for a year). But nothing. Last three years i have acne only on my forehead and temples and every once in a while on my cheeks or somewhere else. I m really mentally and psychologically tired. Seems like i m fighting

    Behold--The Humidity

Hello all you lovely soldiers against horrible acne (or S.A.H.A! yep. Came up with that on my own.) How has your week been? My first week of the spring semester went very well, I enjoy all my classes, believe it or not, and my new job is quite cushy and enjoyable All this enjoyment started, of course, after my nose decided to stop rapidly draining fluids, and my sinus' followed suit and decongested themselves, thank goodness for rest and Nyquil! The state of my face has been very encouraging, I

But I have noticed something when I go on vaccation like turkey, all my acne dissapeared i spent alot of time in the sun and water. Acne mystery

Hi guys! I'm trying to solve one big acne mystery. I've been suffering from acne almost 10 years now (I am 23 years old now) and I have tried many things but nothing has helped. Over those years I have eliminated foods that are breaking me out like dairy, sugar(chocolate, sodas, sweets etc.), fried foods, potato chips, nuts, citrus fruit and processed meat (ham, salami...). These are foods that definitely worsen my skin condition. I have even tried for some time vegeterian diet as well as glut
