hi guys. im 21 right now and was prescribed amoxicillin when i was around 15/16/17 (honestly have no idea exactly when) i haven't been on amoxicillin the entire time. whenever my skin is clear, i try going off but within a few weeks all the acne comes back. i know amoxicillin def works for me, but when i am on it i am also less stressed because i just don't worry about if my skin will breakout, etc. (so clearly i need to work on stress management as well) anyways, i want to get off of it complet
Has anyone successfully quit Proactiv or another product that contains benzoyl peroxide WITHOUT breaking out badly? I'm 24 and I've been using Proactiv since I was 14. I feel my skin is no longer as acne prone as it was when I was a teen, but my skin seems to be addicted to it, specifically the benzoyl peroxide. I tried to quit Proactiv when I was 17. Hi all! After being on antibiotics for about three months, I’m down to four 500 mg azithromycin pills. I want to wean off them and realize it would be best to do it more gradually, but getting another Rx is not an option. How should I best wean the four pills I have left? Cut in half and take one piece every 4-5 days? I've been heavy on the probiotics for over a month now, so I hope that will help quell any outbreak. I appreciate the help!
Hi, I read the method tried by numerous users (details here) with success to slowly wean themselves off the pill and avoid the break outs that came with stopping cold turkey. Essentially, they took 3/4s of the pill for a while, then half etc. etc. I was wondering if anyone has tried this method to transition themselves ONTO bcp's.
