  1. From the album: My Mini Acne Journey

I've dealed with acne since I was 12 or 13 years old. I am now almost 21. Had a bad case my sophomore year and then it calmed down. After it became a steady battle with mild to moderate acne. My skin also scars extremely easy, so that was challenging. But by the end of 2013 and very beginning of this year, my skin was great! I had very little scarring and I rarely broke out. I felt like I was finally growing out of my acne phase and that it wouldn't strike me again. Man was I wrong. This

  3. I am a 22 year old male. I have always had acne on and off and have used about every prescription cream and pill over the years. About 4 months ago, my face was extremely clear. I was using Veltin at night and clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide in the morning. I decided to stop using the creams in hope that I had outgrown my hormonal acne. This was not the case and within 2 months my face was breaking out bad. I started back up on the Veltin and after a few weeks no results so I started using epiduo w
  4. I used to see a dermatologist but I stopped because of family insurance problems. My dermatologist gave me pills that helped clear my skin so much! But I can’t get a refill anymore. Since then I continued using the Epiduo Forte she prescribed for the morning and Veltin with Flurandrenolide Lotion USP 0.05% at night. ( This medication is used on the skin to treat acne. This medication is a combination of adapalene (a retinoid) and benzoyl peroxide (an antibiotic and skin-peeling agent). This prod
  5. Hi everyone! I really hope I get at least one reply! lol I have been browsing this site for a while and reading up about many treatments I have tried to treat my hormonal acne! Unforuntaely, I also suffer from rosacea and perioral dermatitis (though these are pretty much under control now THANK GOODNESS). Anyway, my new derm just gave me Spiro. I am to take 100 mg a day (50 mg in the morning. 50 mg in the evening.) MY QUESTIONS: * Has anyone here started Spiro on 100 mg?? What should expec
  6. Hi all, I'm new to this site but have read countless of threads on here so I thought I'd finally make an account and ask my own questions... Anyway, I have oily skin with hormonal acne and have been on antibiotics before (ceftin) 500mg a day with veltin, a retinoid gel. It worked great, went off, acne got worse, the usual. Then I started back up this time to 1000mg a day. It worked for a little but I could tell it slowly stopped working. Now I have been on birth control (Aviane) for 6 week
  7. Hey everyone. My skin has been quite temperamental lately. My friend gave me some Veltin Gel to use and I LOVE it, but I cannot pay for a derm visit right now. I have insurance, but we have to pay everything out of pocket until we hit out deductible. Question 1: Will a regular doctor prescribe acne creams if you ask for them specifically? Question 2: Does anyone have any sample bottles that I could purchase from you to hold me over?
