  1. Hey everyone! It's been about 3 years since my last post and I must say my face is looking way better! I get small breakouts here and there but I haven't had any full blown painful as hell clusters in ages! I mostly owe that too being very strict with my face cleaning habits and the products I use. Sadly I still haven't found the perfect face wash, toner and moisturizer system but I make do with the random ones I purchase. I use the Mia 2 now and it really helps get every bit of makeup off my
  2. My skin looks very bumpy with enlarged pores from continuous peeling treatments. I think TCA peels are helpful in filling up the scars, but also have a lot of potential for damaging the skin. To give you a better idea of how my skin looks currently, I have a link from Google Image. https://www.google.com/search?q=uneven+skin+texture&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=bAF5U-W6K8GOqgbqxYHwAw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=934#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=CiuH6D9yOxCIoM%253
  3. This may sound like a silly question, but here goes... How can I tell if the small holes in my face are minor acne scars or just large open pores? After 20 years of persistent acne I feel its really started to take it's toll on my skin, now age 31 my skin is still extremely greasy therefore pores are large. It looks so uneven and when I have foundation on it just settles in these marks, and if I'm having a particularly oily skin day the make up looks like it's about to just slide off my
  4. Does anyone have the same problem as me?URG! Now it has gotten better in terms of post acne red marks and clog pores. But now my pores are enlarged. Especially when the light shines on my skin, it's so disgusting! Why is my skin so overly wrinkled as well? There are so many fine lines, and putting make up over makes it look even more disgusting. It's like elephant skin? Or orange peel skin. Is there any treatment to treat enlarged pores? Skin profile: Asian- hot humid weather oily skin IM
  5. Hello, I am really hoping someone has some information for me, or someone has had the same and found a remedy, or someone who knows what these things are! All of the above would be best lol! But im just looking for ideas on how to get rid...... Of these small little bumps that have become the Bain of my life the last couple of years! I had perfectly blemish free skin through your my life until I hit 30 and now suddenly over the last couple of years I have these annoying small little flesh colo
  6. Hi, I have an uneven surface on my back from my years of suffering bacne- what is the best way to treat this? should i start by using Vitamin E oil to lighten the scar? Please help
  7. Hi guys. So I've had severe acne for years and it's finally starting to die down. I haven't had any major breakouts in a month or two but my skins full of scars (mainly box car and rolling scars). Heres a picture of how I currently look like and this is only the good side of my face... :\ http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll5/Valin0r/20150426_213127%201_zpsvbmxayx1.jpg I've been reading up on dermarolling and would like to give it a shot. Would this work for my situation and which needle le
  8. So i decided to document my progress with my acne scars for anybody interested. These pictures were taken a week after my first saline subcision. My doctor used a fairly thin hypodermic needle to break apart scar tissue in my cheeks while also injecting a saline solution into the scars to elevate them and lubricate the needle during the procedure. This is my first procedure out of a total of three, with the goal being to elevate the scars by hopefully 50-70 percent. As of now I'm s
  9. Hello all I am an 18 year old trying to juggle college, relationships and my skin issues. two years ago i underwent an extensive course of accutane that kind of got my acne under control but gave me a bunch of nasty rolling/boxcar scars on my right side and overall unevenness. Right now im a college freshmen and im trying to get rid of my scarring so i can focus on other more important aspects of my life. I've been thinking about getting subcision done for the majority of my rolling scars and
  10. Ok so I've been on tazorac %.1 percent for about a year and my skin is well adjusted to it. Every other night I use Tazorac, and the nights I don't use it I use benzoyl peroxide. I always moisturizer afterwards too. In the morning I just wash my face and apply sunscreen. My skin is generally clear except for the odd pimple here and there if I eat bad. But I really want to incorporate Apple cider vinegar in my skin care routine but I'm not sure how! I know I could use it in the morning without pr
