    Organic Acne Treatment?

So lately I've been really interested in organic skincare. I don't know why. My whole motto about skincare is, "If it's working, why change it?" or "If it's not broken, don't fix it".... But is it really working? I was looking through my pile of what I call "skincare" products, which are basically a bunch of chemicals, and honestly, I thought I knew what ingredients to avoid but I don't think I know the half of it. I can't tell you ANYTHING about 98% of the ingredients in my products. None. Now
  3. Hi, First off, I'd like to say that I really do think Dan's regimen works and it really helped me through a particularly difficult break-out period in my life when I was in college. And that is why I write this complaint with some regret but I feel cheated and abused by the customer service folk at Acne.org. The story: I recently started experiencing some adult acne and because the regimen works so well decided that I order some products from the site. I placed the order on my phone via my
  4. right cheek(worse) left cheek (not as bad as right) ps i don't know if the pics will show up because I'm new to this site and don't really know how to use it... and sorry for not rotating the pics. Anyways.. I get papules that turn into pustules. They take about 2 weeks or more to go away and leave this horrible bright red mark, and I don't even pop it. I ordered Dan's BP treatment and Purpose cleanser and Olay moisturizer (the one he recommends) and I'm going to start The Regimen when my o
  5. hey guys, i've read a lot of positive reviews on Brevoxyl 4% cream and i'm definetely going to give it a try... i have light acne but a lot of scars on my face and i wanted to know if this cream can help me get rid of my scars... or is it only for acne vulgaris??? plz reply as i really want my face to become clear and free of those scars( i mostly have them on my forehead due to a breakout and one or two on my cheeks...).. so plz reply... also when i apply the cream, should i spread the cream
  6. Hey all! I recently found that I most probably have fungal folliculitis on my face. I think it came when I first tried the OCM method which did not work for me at all. I guess my pores got clogged? Anyway I started treating it with Nizoral and Head and Shoulders Classic clean, alternating every 2 days or so. I have been doing it properly since friday (before that I wasn't absorbing everything so doing it wrong for 2 days). Things seem to be improving but not as fast as I had hoped. I have JR P
  7. Hi guys, I've been looking through this place a little bit for the past few weeks, and I thought I'd make a post today. I'm now 18 (almost 19) and I started having spots/acne in certain places around 2 years ago. I didn't know much about cleaning and moisturizing back then, and I unfortunately used to go crazy at these spots and pick and pop. Fast forward today, I have dark spots/marks from previous spots (it'd probably be the same as red scars, but I'm dark skinned so--) and I still get
  8. Hi there, I'm looking for clarification when it comes to clearing my dark spots. I bought the acne.org treatment (cleanser, BP treatment, moisturizer and AHA). I don't currently have any active acne other than little bumps that showed up as you see in the pictures below while using the BP. All of the dark spots that I currently have on my face, chest and back are due to excessive picking. (Although I know I shouldn't, it's due to anxiety that I pick at the pimples I would get). What I'd like
  9. Just wondering whether this is generally seen as a "strong" treatment for acne or a moderate one. All responses welcome
  10. For example when I was in high school I wanted to kill everyone who bullied me for it. I also use to punch and break things because of how it wrecked my life. Now a few years later I still have violent thoughts in general because of it and constant anger.

    Accutane Log

My Accutane Log! Hello and welcome to my Accutane log! I am 5'9" and weigh 135 lbs and am female. I have had moderate acne since I was 13. My acne is not exactly cystic, but is rash-like--spreading over certain parts of my face and stubbornly staying for long periods of time. I would also say that I had plenty of closed comedones, which are incredibly frustrating because they give your skin a rough, bumpy look that is especially embarrassing in the sunlight. Not too mention the ugly, swollen pr
  12. What angers me most about acne is all the missed opportunities it caused me to have during my teen years that I will never get back. I had no friends and never did anything exciting as a teen because I lived in isolation not by choice. I'm 21 now and have pretty much clear skin and I feel like I'm years behind everyone else because it socially stunted me and it's hard to start a social life from scratch as you get older.
  13. Hey guys, I just joined this forum so firstly, hello! Up until a few months ago I've suffered with red raw acne on my cheeks and jawline. I'm no longer a teenager (by a long shot!) so did some research and yes, I'm pretty sure I was a sufferer of adult acne. Luckily I have a wonderful friend in the states who recommended Paula's Choice to me, as she's been using their products for a long while to treat blackheads and the occasional breakout. At first I was a bit cynical about it all

    Hormonal Acne Scars

I have a hormonal scars that are slighlty indented and i have been using Braggs undiluted organic APPLE CIDER VINEGAR. It seems to be making a difference! I have uploaded a photo. The one that has a circle is the indented one. If it works itd be a great cheap alternative! I just rub some on the scars with a q-tip at night. Sometimes multiple times a night. When u apply it the area will become red, but itll be gone by the morning
  15. Ordered the kit this past week and hope to get it in the mail this week! I've read over everything but there's only one thing I'm confused about. Since this will be my first time using any of these products, should I use the BP all over my face or just do it in problem areas or vice versa (start with problem areas, do whole face after a couple weeks) to start out with?
  16. Firstly, hello everyone.. I'm new here (: I've had acne for at least 5 years now (I'm almost 16) mostly only having whiteheads and blackheads, with the occasional pimple. But I went through a stage where I was getting a few cystic pimples on my cheeks, and now they have gone but I'm left with red marks. My acne at the moment is mostly black/white heads.. But with the acne treatments my dermatologist has me on my skin is very weak. Meaning when I do succumb to my urges and pick at a little bl

    Pulse Dye Laser-Vbeam

Hi, Has anyone on here had Pulse dye laser treatments? This page looks very promising, saying many people don't ever have to come back after they've done a run of treatments. And it works for cystic acne as well. It shrinks the sebaceous glands in the skin so that less acne can develop. http://www.bigappleskin.com/laser-for-acne.html Anyone? I just had it done a couple days ago, but of course its too early to tell.....
  18. Hey, I live in the UK, so Dan's products are not readily available. After reading good review after good review I have decided to order some of the products off amazon.com after you guys give me some advice At the moment, twice a day I cleanse and exfoliate (the freederm range) and then moisturise. Two weeks ago I started using BP 5%, in 3 days my acne was really improving, but the next week was met with peeling skin, and even some cuts. I immediately stopped using the BP 5 and focused on hea

  22. There is a remedy for Hidradenitis Suppurativa. First the facts, this info is found in some hidradenitis forums & I found it in Celiac and Gluten Free forums – Hidradenitis is caused by antibodies to gluten. Somewhere I read that the tiny tubing that leads from the apocrine sweat glands get clogged. I think the gluten antibodies and bits of gluten we eat combine together and clogs these tubing and that starts the problem because the glands continue to produ
  23. Hi, I'm 17 and male and I have moderate acne (mostly on my cheeks, white heads and red spots) I really need to cure this, it is destroying my life. I have had acne since i was 13 I'm currently trying a no wheat and no milk diet but after 3 weeks i see no improvement. I miss eating wheat and dairy foods.. Does diet actually affect acne? I eat all organic. Also, is it alright if i eat wheat without gluten? Or should i eliminate all wheat? I use Desert essence face wash and a natural alo

    Lerosett For Scars?

Hey guys, I have been using lerosett for about two months now. Firstly, I've seen a fantastic improvement in my face, and I have just about no acne anymore. I am just wondering if anyone around here could vouch for it helping their scars--I still have some hyperpigmentation and redness that I would like to be rid of. Lerosett says to cut use down after a while... So in terms of being clear, I guess that would be right about now, but I don't want to cut down use if it is going to continue to h
