    Lerosett For Scars?

Hey guys, I have been using lerosett for about two months now. Firstly, I've seen a fantastic improvement in my face, and I have just about no acne anymore. I am just wondering if anyone around here could vouch for it helping their scars--I still have some hyperpigmentation and redness that I would like to be rid of. Lerosett says to cut use down after a while... So in terms of being clear, I guess that would be right about now, but I don't want to cut down use if it is going to continue to h
  2. Hi, I'm new to this site - just wanting some advice/help regarding acne scars on my face. I've suffered from severe acne for about 10 years - it is now nowhere near as bad as it used to be with just the odd breakout now and again. However I'm left with deep scarring all over my face and it is seriously affecting my self esteem/confidence. I have recently been researching different treatments to see what the best option would be for my type of scars. I've emailed several skin specialis
  3. I highly doubt they would. I've never seen it before. Girls would pick an obese man over a guy with acne and scars and I don't mean a pimple or two but an entire face marred in acne and deeply inflamed. I'm about to be 21 and never kissed a girl because of the way I look. I know that's the reason. I slowing accepting the fact that I'm going to have to see a prostitute sometime.
  4. SIXSIXSIXSIXSIXSIX. Okay, okay. So currently on 60mg a day. I was meant to be bumped up 10mg but my derms handwriting is so illegible that the script got lost in the mail. What is with health specialist and their crappy handwriting? Hello, I'm paying you $145 a visit, can you at least make it possible for a piece of paper to get to me? Anyway, my skin's kind of meh. I've had about 5 breakouts come up this week, and all of the have been on the right side of my face. It sucks. My lips have be
  5. I'm 20 now and have been taking antibiotics since I was 13... Honestly feel like I've tried everything so any help appreciated. Been on Lymecycline, Erythromycin, Roaccutane for 8 months (this 100% worked but my skin got INSANELY bad before it got better and don't really want to go on that again, even if I am tempted). I've used pretty much every topical cream prescription under the sun, and have tried Kefir regime for 2 months but this didn't seem to do anything. I am currently o
  6. There is a remedy for Hidradenitis Suppurativa. First the facts, this info is found in some hidradenitis forums & I found it in Celiac and Gluten Free forums – Hidradenitis is caused by antibodies to gluten. Somewhere I read that the tiny tubing that leads from the apocrine sweat glands get clogged. I think the gluten antibodies and bits of gluten we eat combine together and clogs these tubing and that starts the problem because the glands continue to produ

19 Days After Using Persa Gel 10

From the album: Persa gel 10 Benzoyl peroxide

I took this picture today (September 27th) and my skin broke out some more. Ugh. But those white spots are actually small pimples that have come to a head so I guess that is a good thing. do you think my skin is getting better, is the same, worse, or I still need to give it some time? This Tuesday makes 3 weeks and since then I don't know if it has gotten better or worse.
  9. Hi, First off, I'd like to say that I really do think Dan's regimen works and it really helped me through a particularly difficult break-out period in my life when I was in college. And that is why I write this complaint with some regret but I feel cheated and abused by the customer service folk at Acne.org. The story: I recently started experiencing some adult acne and because the regimen works so well decided that I order some products from the site. I placed the order on my phone via my
  10. Hey guys, I just joined this forum so firstly, hello! Up until a few months ago I've suffered with red raw acne on my cheeks and jawline. I'm no longer a teenager (by a long shot!) so did some research and yes, I'm pretty sure I was a sufferer of adult acne. Luckily I have a wonderful friend in the states who recommended Paula's Choice to me, as she's been using their products for a long while to treat blackheads and the occasional breakout. At first I was a bit cynical about it all
  11. I just found this study online, in which the participants' scars were treated with microneedling and glycolic peels, both performed on the same day. There was significant improvement. I am curious to find out if anyone has ever tried this. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22151943
  12. Hi! I've noticed that when I sleep on a clean pillowcase my breakouts are less severe. Have you tested this too? I'm considering buying a bunch of pillowcases to change nightly to help with my acne.
  13. I just saw this clinical study. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4375771/ The before after pics look real good. They use a combination of retinoic acid and glycolic acid 12%. "At the end of 12 weeks, significant improvement in acne scars was noticed in 91.4% of the patients." I am thinking of trying this.
  14. I wanted to sign up to share my experience and the treatment that's worked for me. I know how unpleasant and embarrassing acne is and swore to myself that if this treatment worked for me I would have to post it. This natural vitamin treatment was the last chance before going to Accutane, so I'd recommend trying this first. If you don't want to read all the boring crap just skip to the second-to-last paragraph. As a teenager I never had particularly dreadful skin. It wasn't great - my skin wa

    Dan's Aha

Hello, I have only been on the regimen for about a week and I have just started to used Dan's AHA for my dark spots/acne scars. I know that you are supposed to be on the regimen for 4-6 weeks before using the glycolic acid but before the regimen I had been using Epiduo for about 6 months, so my skin is used to the benzoyl peroxide. I have only used the AHA for two nights, and both times I did what Dan said and mixed a little bit with my moisturizer before bed. So for my nightly routine I: cleans
  16. If anyone is looking for acne treatment, Clearogen is a pretty good one. It's a 3 step program and it helped me a lot. I tried a bunch of different over the counter stuff and some of them worked but only for short term effects. Clearogen definitely makes a difference if you want better skin in the long run. Check out their fb for more info if yall are interested-- they're doing a deal right now and you can get a discount and free stuff too. I figure it's perfect timing since it's summer time and
  17. I read through all the posts/info on the regimen thoroughly before starting. I started last night and my skin was okay, a few white heads on my chin...I woke up this morning and I kid you not, my forehead is COMPLETELY covered in wideheads! As is my chin and cheeks! I had little bumps in all of the places where the whiteheads are now which is promising i gues...But I was expecting a breakout in week two so this seems so soon! Did anyone else have this? Does this mean I'll have another breakout n
  18. Just a quick update that I'll be getting Broad Band Light treatment tomorrow (I think it's an updated type of intense pulse light treatment). It's supposed to help with sun damage, pigmentation issues, and overall skin health. It supposedly can help decrease your change of developing skin cancer in the future too which sounds like a nice bonus to me. I spent basically my entire youth frying in the sun and then my skin got scars from all my cystic acne so my skin has been through a lot. I figure
  19. I’ve had acne since I was a freshman in high school. I just graduated last may, and my acne has severely gotten worse. I used to pick at my face, and pop all of my pimples until there was blood coming out. I stopped, and I don’t pick at my face unless there’s a bad pimple that needs to be popped. This has really taken a toll on my physical appearance as I feel nobody will love me with acne. I feel ugly. I feel everybody stares at my face. I work with little kids, and they all ask me, “why do you
  20. As the subject says, even after a week of using the treatment, I still feel the burn. I started the regimen last Wednesday and it's Wednesday today(S.Korea). So It's exactly a week today. I was told to increase the dosage from the second week. But the treatment still burns my face. Flakeness and dryness have been subdued , so I can wear make up fine, but I am super worried about that burning and stinging feeling I will get if I increase the dosage. Also, I still get a couple of acnes here
  21. Hi, I'm Jessica and I have been on the Acne.org Regimen for a year and a half (since January 22, 2013). I used to have cystic acne all over my cheeks and forehead but after three months of using the Regimen my skin became clear and my acne become fading scars. I follow the Regimen religiously to the point where I apply twice a day, every day, without missing a day, keeping my skin clear with very few isolated pimples here and there. But now I have a problem. I am on vacation for 3 days and I rea
  22. What is your acne telling you? 1 & 2: Digestive System — Eat less processed or junk food, reduce the amount of fat in your diet, step up water intake and opt for cooling things like cucumbers. 3: Liver — Cut out the alcohol, greasy food and dairy. This is the zone where food allergies also show up first, so take a look at your ingredients. Besides all this, do 30 minutes of light exercise every day and get adequate sleep so your liver can rest. 4 & 5: Kidneys — Anything around
  23. It seems as if every type of Acne treatment has a drawback, if it's topical the drawbacks can be dryness, irritation or some sort of skin alteration, if it's another type the drawbacks can be quiet tremendous, I'm on doxycycline 50mg once a day but while I'm waiting for that to kick in and I don't know if it will, it's been a month and 24 days, what can I do that poses no actual threat to my skin or my health that may clear my acne?
  24. Oh God, trying to treat my acne is causing me more trouble then If I just would have left it alone. I never really had bad Acne and most of my pimples have gone down but I'm still dealing with very noticable red marks and so I'm using the regimen to try and get rid of the acne/marks once and for all but all I see is red, irritated skin on my cheeks. This did not start with the regimen but way back with harsh products such as Proactiv, the creases of my nose are badly irritated and damaged, some

    Doxycycline Diary

Hi everyone, I came across this site and like many others, decided to document my Doxycycline treatment. I was prescribed with Doxycycline (50mg) to take once a day with Epiduo gel to use on affected areas at night. I started my treatment about, nearly a month ago. I was very excited when my doctor prescribed me with medication, as I had tried every product and was really starting to give up as I had never had any actual results with anything. Throughout the past month, in the first week
