    Fabior Foam and Aczone

Hello everyone! This entry will be about my Fabior Foam and Aczone journey so far. Ive been using the two products for about a month and a half now. I’ve gone through a horrible purge and am in the process of dealing with it. I’ll post a picture of what my skin started as, during its purge and what it looks like now. What I started with: December 2018 The purge: 3/14/2019 Today: 3/17/19 I started using the fabior and aczone combo sometime in late
  2. Ok so, I have the spots on my face and nose. And I do not know how to get rid of them or even what they are. Can someone please help me and suggest what products I should use ?
  3. So I've been going to the dermatologist for a while now, and I have been purchasing their in office acne products alongside the prescription medicine that they prescribed me. The only issue with the products they sell to me is that they are expensive. They've been charging me over $100 for a cleanser and a triple antioxidant cream. I was wondering I I could just get an in-store acne treatment and use it alongside the prescription medicine for the same results?

    Advice on scars

Hi, I've been reading a lot of threads on here and looked at the FAQ but I'm unsure what my best options are. Ive been dealing with acne for 3 years now and I hope to limit the amount of damage that it will do to my skin including the scarring, which I have to admit is maybe also due to a habit of picking at my scars. I'm aware that my scarring might not be as severe as other cases and my own perception (damn you unflattering bathroom lighting) is subjective and fluctuates quite a bit. The
  5. My doctor is going to use a C02 laser after performing my second subcision next week. Is C02 Laser considered an old type of laser that is not as effective as newer lasers? Should I reconsider? I hope someone knowledgeable can respond ASAP. Thanks
  6. Hi! I have been suffering from acne from past 1 year. Now it has cleared off but I can see the scars that kind of upset me alot. I can't identify what sort of scar I have but I think it is mixed. I would love to know the types on my face and what are the availabe treatment options. I have also attached some pictures and tried to capture the scars in different lighting . My right cheek has some deep scars while the left is a bit better. I also have pigmentation (red in colour) associated wi
  7. I'm thinking I have a mixture of mostly rolling and some boxcar scars. I went on accutane and finished few months ago but I still have a lot of scars left. What type of treatments would be suitable for my scars? In the summer I'll be travelling to Korea and I'm planning to get treatments done there because I heard it's more affordable. Does anyone have reviews/recommendations of certain clinics in Korea who specializes in scar treatments? Thanks!
  8. I suffered from moderate cystic acne as a teenager, but my skin was completely clear — and quite smooth — for five or six years after graduating from high school. The scars seen here, photographed in some of the harshest lighting I encounter on a daily basis, have either become more visible or appeared outright as I've progressed into my late 20s. I have seen several doctors in the past year, and have received two rounds of fillers (with very minimal success) and four sessions of microneedling (
  9. Hello! So, I know the title of this blog post is Week 10, even though this is my first ever post about using adapalene and clindamycin, but I wanted to name Week 8 b/c it's the 8th week of me going through my treatment. I was just too lazy to start a blog back in week 1 haha Skin Type: Little oily, had mainly closed comedones, not many cysts, acne mainly on my cheeks, moderate acne Background Info: Up to the age of 16, my skin was clear and good. I would be able to eat junk

  11. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows any acne scar specialists in Ireland? Curology? Advice?

So I'm considering curology for my cystic acne. I dont really have a routine at the moment, I stopped using everything a few months ago when I had a bad reaction/broke out worse than ever in my life, I've been diagnosed with acne conglobata? Not sure if that's 100 percent correct but that's what this online derm said. I'm a 24 year old Male. This has been the worst year for my acne and I'm ready to be done with it. I'm just worried nothing is going to work and I really want to be clear and l

    Dermaplaning in NJ?

Does anyone know where I can find a qualified skin practitioner to do dermaplaning in Northern NJ? Thanks
  15. Hi! I am on Accutane. I have one month left to finish. It's the second time I do it, but the other one I did it on time, not like this. This time I had a lot of acne and scars. The problem is that they are in an area that when I smile, they create wrinkles and I hate it. I would like to know to what extent they can disappear with treatment. My dermatologist has recommended me to stay for a year with glycolic acid and then think about laser or hyaluronic acid fillers. What do you recommend?
  16. Hi all, I've had an issue with my nose now for over a year. What begun as a large, deep sebaceous cyst has become a hypertrophic scar around the area due to me sqeeuzing and bursting the cyst. The cyst itself has not gone away but is smaller and still deep - so not visible on the skin surface. My derm believes I still have a few blocked pores around this area and has started me on Treclin gel (Tretinoin + Clindamycin) 0.025%. The scarring is slap bang in the middle of my nasal bridge so is
  17. Help!! My skin has erupted in loads of spots whiteheads and cysts as well as loads of little bumps with lots of redness. I used to have isolated chin acne (it was no where else) Even my cheeks were super clear- I feel like I’ve tried absolutely everything from natural remedies to creams and topical treatments right now I’m using the neutragena clearing face wash and the Liz Earle moisturiser and toner and I occasionally use the Barnier pure active face mask. I feel like I’m at the point where I’
  18. I'm basically at the end of my rope now, and I need advice. I've seen so many doctors for my horrible cystic acne, and I'm so frustrated that every one of them wants to just put me on a pill and not look at what's causing my acne. I feel so alone in this struggle. If my story sounds like yours, please just take a minute to help me out. I started out with mild acne when I was about 13 and used acne treatments like Proactiv. But that began to not be enough, and I went to the dermatologist, who q
  19. Hello guys I have tried everything I could from home to cure my acne and scars. Can anyone tell me what kind of acne this is and also the scar type. Also it will be appreciated if you tell me about what would be the treatment for this condition/type. Thanks for all the replies in advance!
  20. Hello guys, I just want to know how serious are my acne scars (out of 10). PS: Most of them are post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (or not, I'm still confused). And the images are really close enough in daylight.. Will fading away PIH improve my appearance? PICS included: https://ibb.co/hOcGGe https://ibb.co/kq0spz
  21. So I’ve struggled with acne all my life but after accutane my acne cleared up and only got the odd few spots here and there (nothing crazy) then a couple of days ago out the blue my chin started to go crazy? I don’t know what this is, or what’s causing it. I changed my cleanser to the Botanincal Lab. clay mask and a nip and fab moisturiser and wasn’t sure if that’s what’s caused it? Is this this an example of purging? Whiteheads? Balckheads? I really don’t know! If anyone could offer ad

    I give up.

I have facial acne, and I feel like giving up. First of all, let me tell you a little about myself: I’m a healthy, 18 year old male. I’m active, fit and go to the gym every morning. I eat extremely healthy: fruit, vegetables, nuts, organic dried fruit, green supplements, no processed foods or unhealthy sugars, rarely eat meat, and absolutely no dairy. I drink lots of water. As far as a skincare routine, I’ve tried every thing imaginable: Proactiv (until my skin flaked like snow falling on
  23. Hey folk, I need help. I am going to GPs and skin clinics etc too. But it would be helpful to hear from those who suffered from the same looking condition. I have been "diagnosed" (by GPs without any skin analysis or skin biopsies) with Rosacea once, Perioral Dermatitis twice and Folliculitis was suspected by another practitioner. I have had a mite going crazy on my skin when I was about 23 years old, when my immune system wasn't strong enough because of the antibiotic I was taking (for the
  24. I started breaking out about two years ago and ever since I've been trying to clear my skin. I know it's mostly hormones but I just want to find out how I can clear it. I have spots on my forehead, some acne scars on my cheek, spots on my chin, blackheads on my chin, nose, forehead and some on my cheek and no whiteheads. I use african black soap, tried witch hazel, benzoyl peroxide, doing NOTHING, vitamin E oil and so much more. All they did was make it worse. African black soap is kind of helpi
