  1. Help guys, I've seen online about how people dry their acne out by using toothpaste, I gave it a try and it burned my skin! Now there's like brownish dark patches on the acne and they don't seem to go away :'( I'm really scared. And i had this boil/cystic acne , that didn't had a head to pop, but I forcefully popped it because it is as hurting too much. And now it's turned really red and dark. It's still swollen like how it was before I popped it. When I popped it, only blood oozed out. It was r
  2. So on Saturday i noticed 3 awfully big pimpled on my forehead so i decided to try toothpaste on them. Although, i did know that the toothpaste had t be non-gel. I woke up with red brownish spots and a big one that hurts ( the middle one ). Its been 3 days now. Is there anything i can do to get rid of them? This has really lowered my self confidence. I start school again next Tuesday & i really want them to be gone they are really noticeable.
  3. Hello, I have just learned that Sodium Lauryl Sulphate found in toothpastes can be a major cause of breakouts. Has anyone here experienced breakouts due to chemicals like SLS? I am so concerned I have been using this toothpaste for years. I plan to immediately replace it with a organic product. I have already eliminated gluten, dairy, sugar, heat inducing foods(mangoes, papayas, chicken) from my diet. I have recently started taking Spinach juice as it contains magnesium. I have stopped using ch
  4. Hey everyone, I just decided to go SLS free with my shower products. SLS free shampoo, body wash, facial cleanser and toothpaste. However, I noticed that the shampoo and body wash says "sulfates and paraben free" but still contains Sodium Olefin Sulfonate. Does anyone know if this is as bad as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or using this won't be an issue? Please let me know because I spent quite a bit on these products and don't want to use them if they are useless. Thanks
  5. Can Applying Toothpaste to the Skin Treat Acne?

Studies on the Effect of Toothpaste on Acne What Ingredients Does Toothpaste Typically Contain? Could the Inactive Ingredients in Toothpaste Be Useful as Acne Treatments? Could the Active Ingredients in Toothpaste Improve Acne? Are There Any Ingredients in Specialty Toothpaste That Could Help Fight Acne? Is Tooth Gel Better than Toothpaste as Acne Treatment? Bottom Line: It Generally Is a Bad Idea to Use Toothpaste as an Acne Treatment A brief search on the internet...
  6. Please excuse me for this post, but I am so frustrated with my body acne. I am such a freak that I get acne even in weird places like my forearms, hands, and stomach. And yes, I do think that it's actual acne for reasons that I will explain later in this post. MY RANT Having weird body acne is so frustrating because I'm such a freak. Virtually nobody else gets acne in such weird places. It's at least somewhat socially acceptable to have acne on the face, back, or chest. It's frustrating
  7. I've been on 60mg of accutane for 3.5 months now. My face is clearing up, but sometimes i keep getting these huge red pimples. I don't want to pop them, so I was wondering if anyone had any natural suggestions as to anything I can do to get the pimples to shrink or dry out a little bit? I've read that applying toothpaste on a pimple will dry it out, is this true? Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks!
  8. I apologize for the length, but I hope it helps. One thing I always told myself was if I ever came up with a routine that works, I would post it on this website. Acne.org has been my go to for over 6 years, but unfortunately I've never had any luck after reading countless threads. I'm currently 31 (white, male, 170lbs, 5'11”) and I've had back acne since I was 26 (no facial acne). The acne was all over the place and some was cystic in the lower back. Consistently over the last 4 months, I've
  9. Undangerous deseases but it always anoye us and want to omite it, an acne is a small desease that usually appear on our face, either thechildren, teenager or even an adult, for the ladies, an acne is disguested thing, besides it disturb, they will feel unconfortable and have no confidance to exist in front of the public. There are so many ways to omit the acne, one of them is by using toothpaste for acne. The function of toothpaste is to keep our tooth with, clean and healt. But there many
  10. Hi all I'm just about to start week 8 on a regimen of Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, Epiduo, CeraVe Moisturising Lotion, and 1 x 408mg Tetracycline each day. So far it's been going great, actually amazing, I cannot believe the difference (once I got past the burning and purging anyway). However, one of my areas of concern are my chin and mouth, always have been! In the last 3 weeks I've had about 4 random large pimples and every one of them has been above/under my lip, and I always ha
  11. I'm new to this site but had to share my success story of clearing my acne. I am an adult female in my 30's who never had acne in my life. I had an occasional zit here and there but nothing I ever had to worry about until I started getting persistent acne around my mouth and on my chin (consistent with what they call hormonal acne). I went to a doctor and had my hormones checked and they came back normal. However, he still insisted it was horomonal because of the location. In the mean
