  1. Hi guys, Another day, another dollar. I'm currently at work on a Friday afternoon and thought hmmm I haven't updated my "blog" in a while. Obviously when we have a breakout, we jump onto google/acne.org in the hopes of finding an answer. I'm just going to paste my skincare routine from my prev blog entry & then add some notes. This is less boring then reading paragraphs. Just to update you though, my acne has now shifted from my cheeks (relieved not to have to deal with constant cysts) -
  2. Ok so I have moderate to severe acne and I have a lot of whiteheads that I can never get rid of due to an old face wash that I've used , I recently bought the NEUTROGENA oil free stress control toner & ive been using it for about 1 week and I've been breaking out like crazy ! Idk if it's purging because there is 2% salicylic acid in it or if I'm just breaking out because it's not working ! I thought maybe my little whiteheads are turning to pimples and will soon disappear ? Idk I need answer
  3. I'm really sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, I'm unsure which category this would fit best in. I'm taking clindamycin topically in the morning and then epiduo at night as prescribed by my doctor. I believe I need to start exfoliating and toning every morning after cleansing, but I'm not sure how to do that I guess? I'm not sure if I'll get a reaction from adding clindamycin to this routine as it's a pretty strong medicine (at least it smells strong - it smells like rubbing alcohol!
  4. I have recently come to the conclusion that otc cleansers and toners and moisturizers, dont do well with my skin , i have tried quite a few , neutrogena, clean and clear , even cetaphil . After a trip to the derm , she had me using revison skin care cleanser, toner and moisturizer ,thy worked like no other but the prices were killing me -cleanser-20 dollars, toner-22, moisturizer-45.00.... so i decided it was too much money and it was putting the biggest dent in my purse, after a few months off
