  1. Hey everyone, Just wondering, what seems to cause your acne the most?
  2. I've been trying to be more diligent about working out and eating right and just overall being healthier, but I feel like every time I work out and break a sweat, I wake up with acne around my hairline and some on my back. IS there anything I can do to help prevent this?!

    Postal Worker acne

I have had very clear skin for my whole life, maybe one or two pimples every month. Now I’m a letter carrier working outside every day and my face is covered in acne, I don’t know what to do to fix it. Any advice? Best face wash to prevent sweat induced acne?
  4. Hi , I was wondering when to use the regimen and if my daily schedule will affect it, when I wake up I get ready and go to the gym for 1-3 hours I'm not sure if I should apply the regimens before or after that, I also have academy soccer in the evening and I was wondering if I should apply the regimen right after academy (8:00) or at 10 just before I go to bed.
  5. Hello all, So, I am about 4 months in on accutane; first 3 months I was on 30mg/day, and this previous month I was on 40mg/day. Before this past month I noticed a very slight increase in sweating in my eyebrows. This month It has definitely increased. I can't find too much about this on this site or any other site. I have contacted my derm and waiting for a response, but I was hoping maybe someone could tell me if this is potentially a permanent side effect? There is absolutely no history of hy
  6. Hello everyone, I wouldn't say i'm new to this site, but am a brand new member. I've almost come to a dead stop with my bacne and wanted others advice on what they have done or what they know to help me. I'm 19 in november and have had moderate (being generous) bacne for about 3+ years. it has always stay above the middle of my back to my neck and nowhere below until recently i started working as a mechanical contractor (HVAC, Refrigeration, Restaurant Equip. Etc,). I live in Albuquerque, Ne
  7. I started the Regimen at the beginning of thanks giving break and i had an initial break out but i kept with the regimen since i knew it might happen. After the break out my skin was getting very clear and i felt i was advancing in my efforts. i started working out again after my finals were over and i started breaking out. I believe this is due to me not knowing when to use the regimen. I like to work out after i eat breakfast which would be around 11. How should i tackle this problem? do i wak

    Summer Initial Breakout

Hey! I just thought I would ask if any of you experience a breakout at the start of summer? I find that since my skin isn't used to all the humidity and increased sweating that I always start of with a couple weeks of crappy skin until it adjusts... after that my skins usually the best out of all the other seasons. I just wanted to see if anyone else shares a similar experience (:

    EYEBROW/FOREHEAD CLOGGED

Ok past two weeks I've been breaking out inbetween my eyebrows, my skin gets oily her but never usually break out this much here. Using a come done extractor a hard sebum like clogged pore thing comes out and it leaves a brown mark which takes forever to go and fade the slightest. Possible causes: Gym sweat from cardio, I try to wash my face as soon as possible after a gym session however sometimes i shower and wash my face a bit later like 30 minutes later so maybe the sweat hardens which c

    Acne and Working out

Hi Everyone, I am new on this site. Please forgive me if I make any errors. I would like to share my acne story. Who knows maybe someone can help me! I am a 26 year old male and recently, I decided to live a healthier lifestyle. I eat clean (moderate carbs, loads of veggies), do not smoke or drink and workout 4-5 times a week including cardio. I have lost a tremendous amount of weight, 18 kgs to be exact. I feel great! However, I have noticed an insane amount of breakouts every time I wor

    Exercise And Acne?

Hello! I have always been a pretty avid jogger. I like to go for a 30min run everyday. I was on Accutane 6 months, 4 years ago and never broke out when I jogged. However, this past summer, my moderate-severe acne came back, and every single time I went jogging, I had a cyst pop up the next day. I washed my face immediately after exercising, and I drink plenty of water. So for the past 3 months, I haven't went jogging at all, and I feel so unhealthy and gross. I'm currently on my
  13. I started taking Accutane yesterday. These symptoms started yesterday. I get very cold when it's room temperature and then I can get very hot and sweat from everywhere, especially my hands. During the night I sweat a lot too. Is this a known side effect of Accutane? Even if it is I doubt the side effects would come in the day I start the treatment. The thing is I went out 3 days ago to drink for the last time before I began Accutane and we think one of my friends got some GHB (date-rape drug)
  14. Hi, I'm male and I have a lot of small whiteheads with the size of a small pinhead. These small whiteheads are underneath my skin for several days or weeks, until a small white and tight globule (which contains the tallow) comes to the surface and fells of. This would lead to an increased pore which will shrink more or less over the next couple of months. I'm from outside the US and in my country I can’t order the products from Acne.org. But I tried some kind of the Regimen within the
  15. Hi guys, So I've started exercising quite intensely over the past few months. I am cycling to and from work (20 miles in total) and I get quite sweaty. I have a shower after my cycle when I get to work, and when I get home after. I have noticed a few more breakouts since starting this. I use very sensitive and soft cleanser, and moisturise and use Benzoyl Perozide 2.5% on each pimple. However, is it possible that I am not moisturising enough and just irritating my skin?

    Exercising with product on

I recently purchased the Acne.org regimen and noticed that it tells me to wash my face twice in intervals of 10-12 hours. I am on my high school basketball team, and play basketball basically everyday. If I do my skin care routine in the morning and play basketball with sweat dripping all over my face during the middle of the day, what do I do? Do I wash my face again? Just pat my face down with a towel until it's time for me to wash my face again? I'm mainly asking because I want the best resul
  17. Hey, I was wondering if it is better to wipe the sweat from my face with a rag/towell/something or if it is better to leave the sweat on my face. Does it make a difference? Thanks!

    Exercising & Acne

Hello, I am a 22 year-old female (generally have oily skin), and I've been experiencing severe acne. I've struggled with acne ever since I was 14, and it has mainly been caused by genetics. It use to be so severe, I've been through 2 dermatologist and numerous serums and creams. At 16, I finally found a dermatologist who has helped me immensely, and my acne went from terrible, to miraculously gone. Currently, I have been exercising 6 days a week, and have been following a healthy diet.

From the album: What are these?

I keep getting skin coloured "blocked pores" on my forehead? I have looked at them close up and they are not black heads more inflames like white heads just bumps? I get it when my skin gets oily or I wear makeup on a night out. What are they and how do I get rid of them? Every time I try to extract them they become angry huge spots.... Its annoying and makes me feel self conscious. can anyone give any advice? Creams , routines , brands? I wash, tone and motorise my skin 2 times a day and nothin
  20. Hey I'm Davey, and I'm fourteen. I'm female and have acne. I get a cyst or two on my chin at a time (usually) and have quite a few blackheads on my nose. I also have random little zits sometimes, but my forehead is my main concern. My mom is considering taking me to the dermatologist (her holdback is that for the one she wants to go to is that I need a recommendation from my doctor.. I don't know why I haven't gone to the doctor to get it yet, though), They are flesh colored bumps, sometimes
  21. Ok so please can someone reply. I'm 17 and am graduating in less than 5 months. Acne has RUINED my life. Irritation From Sweat

I saw a video where Dan said that when he exercises he just wipes the sweat off of his face when he's done, but recently I've been exercising in the mornings before my a.m. regimen and my face gets really irritated by the time I'm through. My face will be very red in the trails where sweat has streaked down my face and overall more red. I've since been washing my face before exercising and then completing the regimen after a post workout shower and haven't experienced that level of irritation, b
  23. Hi everyone, I have been struggling with perioral dermatitis for about 3 months now. it is flaky and dry around my mouth with small bumps and redness. It got a lot worse so I went to the derm and she prescribed doxycline and an antibiotic cream. it has seemed to go down a little but is still present and flares up badly sometimes. I don't want to be on this drug forever. I am using Osmia organics to cleanse. Does anyone know if sweating or heat can make it worse? I love hot yoga but I think it ma

    Day 7

Still a few more pimples while old ones start to calm down, but this is pretty much normal to me so I can't really call this my "initial breakout". Im hoping I don't have one, especially since I'm meeting a lot of people in the next few weeks. talk about bad timing. It actually looks like a few of these tiny little invisible white heads that are always hidden on my chin and around my mouth might rise to the surface in the next few days... maybe it'll be a subtle overnight thing? idk. I like
