  1. Hello! Please read my message i REALLY need help i suffer 2 years now! 2 years before i went to a doctor for my acne and gave me a retinol cream IN SUMMER in an extremely sunny country! The 2nd month i started going to the
  2. Hello. I've been on the following regimen for about 3.5 months now and have not seen the results I was expecting by now: AM: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Aczone (dapsone) gel on acne spots Minocycline oral pill Garnier SPF 15 moisturizer PM: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Retin-A .05% Minocycline oral pill Should I give this more time or switch it up? Also, is the SPF 15 in my moisturizer (that is supposed to last all day until washed off) enough to protect my skin since I'm
  3. I've been on the regimen since March, and had success with my acne, but I've always had terrible flaking. In July I moved down to Bp only at night, as Dans aha wasn't helping with the dryness. I haven't had any problems with dryness since then, but as a result I break out pretty badly even in minimal sun exposure, or when I don't wear sunscreen on a cloudy day. Sunscreen only lasts for 2 hours and often I don't have the chance to reapply before doing something. Why am I so prone to breakouts in
  4. Hi, I am struggling with hyperpigmentation, some brown spots probably from acne and sun damage and redness. I want some topical treatments only - no laser peels etc. Right now I am using Tactuo Gel (adapalene (or differin) + 2.5 BP) 3 times a week at night all over face about 3 times a week I use St. Ives Salicylic acid scrub And I use a high spf everyday I have oily/combo skin. My dry skin can really gather up sometimes and sloughs off in the shower under hot water when I rub my face a coupl
  5. Hi, I'm male and I have a lot of small whiteheads with the size of a small pinhead. These small whiteheads are underneath my skin for several days or weeks, until a small white and tight globule (which contains the tallow) comes to the surface and fells of. This would lead to an increased pore which will shrink more or less over the next couple of months. I'm from outside the US and in my country I can’t order the products from Acne.org. But I tried some kind of the Regimen within the
  6. Just ordered a green handheld led light from led man. I wondered if anyone else in here suffering sun damage/melasma has done this treatment? I went with led man for this purchase because the green panels in the right nanometers were too hard to find. After emailing back and forth, he was actually kind enough to link me to a Monday special so I could get ten bucks off. So, he was actually great to deal with. If anybody in here has done green light therapy, I would love to hear their experi
  7. Hey everyone! Like a lot of people I've got SEVERAL issues going on with my face at once. I have suffered from cystic acne or closed comedones or clogged pores, whatever you want to call them, since I was 27. That's more than 20 years now. Eeek. I successfully treated my clogged pores with hemp oil and salicylic acid stuff that I made myself, but was looking for ways to lighten or treat the sun damage on my face. I did an experiment adding licorice extract to my s.a. toner and it actually wor
