  1. I have had acne since I was 12, and after decades of OTCs, expensive prescriptions, dermabrasions ( three to be exact), and a face lift, I can honestly tell you what may be the best possible solution to rid yourself of daily erruptions. I won't go into the long details of what hasn't worked, just to fast forward to what I have found that does!! The very BEST over the counter products I have, and still do use, are Old Grandpas sulphur soap, Bye Bye Blemish (sulpur based drying lotion, not reall
  2. Oh guys from tomorrow I will start to use sulphur soap that I'm going to buy from boots. I've read it can work..... I'm a bit of a sceptic. Anyway so I'm going to keep a thread here of how it goes so I can trial it for anyone that cares ill try and figure a way to put up pictures to. Btw I'm 24, male and I think I have severe back acne
  3. Hi, I'm a long-time reader, first time poster. I've been on a pursuit to cure my acne without Accutane. I've had acne since I was a teenager (I'm 38, Caucasian, female), and the only reprieve I got was from going on Accutane in my early 20s. My acne came back during my first pregnancy in my early 30s, and I have been battling with it ever since. I've been reading many forums on acne.org for several months now, and I have many of people's suggestions: I'm taking Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5 (in l
  4. Although my blog is devoted chiefly to oily skin and acne, I also deal with seborrheic dermatitis and I like to provide periodic updates regarding my progress on that front as well, in case my experience can help someone else suffering from seb derm. One month ago I started washing the seb derm areas of my face with a sulfur soap called Coral KAVI. It contains salicylic acid and sulfur. While I have used salicylic acid products in the past with no success, I had never used a sulfur soap unti

    Day 1

Tomorrow i will be buying and using sulphur soap in attempt to clear my back..... i will document the results here. Here goes nothing!!!
  6. Hey guys So since we last spoke (I spoke you read) I felt as though clearogen was being way too harsh on my skin so I made some changes. I'll go into my current routine later on. On Friday I had an appointment with a new derm... He told me my acne is probably genetic (even though it's clearly around my jawline and was caused by Yasmin one would think its hormonal hmmm). We did speak for about 45mins (my apologies to the people waiting for their appointment after me). He suggested roaccutane t

    Weeks 13 - 14

My skin went through a dry patch lately since I switched from my regular cleanser to a sulphur soap. But it's the regular dryness I get where I still break out. Anyway, as always I'm back to an oilier state. I'm a living oil factory. smh I also started taking my contraceptive pills again - it's ethinyl estradiol and cyproterone acetate (Krimson or Ginette where I live, Dianette in other places). I started taking them in 2010 for my menstrual problems, stopped because I was sick of taking an

    Update

Hi guys, Another day, another dollar. I'm currently at work on a Friday afternoon and thought hmmm I haven't updated my "blog" in a while. Obviously when we have a breakout, we jump onto google/acne.org in the hopes of finding an answer. I'm just going to paste my skincare routine from my prev blog entry & then add some notes. This is less boring then reading paragraphs. Just to update you though, my acne has now shifted from my cheeks (relieved not to have to deal with constant cysts) -
  9. has anyone had success with saw palmetto or evening primrose or sulphur? ive seen them mentioned around the forum, but wondering if they have helped any women with hormonal acne thanks~
  10. Hi guys, This is my first post ever on this forum. I have never used this before, so please help me. I am a 19 year old chinese boy. Have been having just the rare pimple appearing since 16-19. But about 5 months ago. I started noticing that I looked to have swollen lymph nodes around my neck area. Also, I noticed some skin coloured lumps appearing near/below my ear, and around my jaw line. I still have the occasional pimple and huge zit. So I used BP and SA on both of them, including th
