  1. https://imgur.com/a/m8ka7RK Hello there! So I would like to get some pointers, what treatments could effectivly help me treat my acne and chickenpock scarring. I suffered from Acne in my teens and got some degree of scarring as you can see. In addition I have quite a few chickenpock scars since I got them when I was 18 (now I*m 22 now) I don't have any active acne anymore, just the occasional pimple, but I do suffer from hyperpigmentation (which happens really quick for me). To help with hyp
  2. Well well well, here I am. Back again. Back in the early 00s this community gave me so much support. I thought I would come back and give an update. Back then I was known as "Guardedly Optimistic" now i'm "Guardedly Optimistic 2017" This is the thing, it's a journey. My skin is still very damaged; mostly visible under harsh over head lighting. But...and get this...I ended up pursuing my dream of being an actor and filmmaker! Yes, acne and scars and insecurities and all that crap was not goin
  3. Hi guys, Do you happen to know a good product which can eventually conceal the yellowish colour which remains long after the bruise heals? I have to go in public by day 10 after the procedure. From my previous experience it takes 15-20 days for complete fading. It`s a kind of awkward to explain the "brave" origin of my skin condition, if you know what i mean Any suggestion is appreciated! Thanks
  4. Should I do fillers before or after INFINI? (Swelling after subscision) (Before subsision, morning skin) (Scars looking totally horrible in the worst possible lightning again two weeks after subscision) I live in Denmark, subscision was done by Emil Henningsen, was pretty expensive and didnt seem to bring basically any good improvement after the first treatment, however he mentioned it will be this way, and i will need fillers to see some progress, the question is would it make sense
  5. Hey everybody, I would really appreciate and advice on which treatment I should use for my deep rolling scars. I am terribly afraid of fraxel or any kind of laser resurfacing since I kinda feel that it would break me out (the scarred area often feels like it's about to break out, but never really does, I just get get tiny red spots that I eliminate with Epidou or other creams). I read the reviews of other people and it often seems to give them cystic pimples. Besides, any kind of exfoliation i
  6. Hi I hope I get replies to this post. I know that smoking damages the healing process of the skin. How soon AFTER I quit smoking should I get a subscision? Should I wait a while or can I get the procedure right after I stop smoking? Also, is subcision something that can be done over the weekend and you go back to work? I am between jobs and I really want to finally get work done on my scars. Thanks
  7. I'm new to this guys so I hope I'm posting this in the right place, and if I'm not I'm so sorry! I'm looking for any & all recommendations from those who've had good scar treatment results from doctors in NY or surrounding areas. After much research, I think the best bet for my deep boxcar scars is subscision and/or excision followed by fillers. I'm not opposed to looking at other things. But does anyone know of doctors who do this in the tri state area (ny, nj, ct). As a side quest
  8. A doctor recommended I get fraxel laswer after a subcision. Has anyone had good results from that? I have heard one should be careful with fraxel. He did not quote anything about tca cross. I do see a pitted pore that tca cross should be used on. Dare I bring this up? Hope I get some responses. Thanks
  9. July 2016 Davin Lim on Energy Devices and Scar Treatment Interesting Infini (goes 3.5mm, laser only 1.5mm) is his favorite when he is the Fraxel Spokesman, he gets the machines for free and is paid to talk at conferences. Fraxel he said "is the most overrated treatments out there", good for minor scars but not many things. CO2RE is more powerful than the Fraxel device, even Re:pair. His number one recommendation seems to be Subcision & Filler depressed scars, & TCA Cross Icepics
  10. For those who have had subscision, what was your social downtime? I've been told bruising could be significant and that I could put makeup on 2 days after...agree? AND if you had multiple treatments how far apart were the treatments? Thank you!
  11. 468 Will I need time off from work if I get a subscion done? Can I just go to work or will I look bruised up? Thanks
