  1. A month later, drained cyst had refilled slightly so I ended up taking co amoxalave 302mg x3 a day for 14 days and augmentin 250x3 for 14 days. These antibiotics where pretty strong and so helped clear up the rest of my acne pretty effectively. Although It being a quick fix I was pleased with this. I found a warm compress helped fluid drain internally and much of the inflammation was just fluid and not pus. all the smaller marks are just red marks and purple marks, not actual acne. I had d
  2. Aite, so this is my 2nd time posting. I'm a 22 yr old Canadian guy in my 4th year of an Undergrad degree. I wrote an intro a long time ago on the "Introduction" page, but no real 'necessary info' on there. Anyway, here's my recent dilemma: - I was on the regimen since September, following it about 70%. I would only use 1 pump of treatment at night, and use a small amount of moisturizer in the day, lest I want to look like a slimy asian carp, or something of the like. I also used topical clind
  3. Hey everyone! I hope this doesn't come off as sounding too gimicky and advertisementish. I promise I'm not a spam bot! My name is Kensi. Last year I participated in a very small clinical trial for a take-home laser product that helps with acne. My results were fantastic, and they are now offering $400 to participants for a much larger clinical trial! Here's the good stuff: I had NO side effects and they cannot foresee any possible side effects It's easy to use Participants thus far
  4. Hello, Prior to going on accutane I discovered this forum and it helped and relaxed me about my decision to place myself on accutane. However, one common complaint that I often came across while on here was how people would stop going on after their acne or spots cleared up. This, not surprisingly, held true to me as well! But I would like to not become another statistic so I am giving the community a chance to ask some one who has started and finished accutane, and find out what exactly it

    Day 20

So here I am about 3 weeks into the regimen. Skin has slowly been progressing towards being completely clear! I have 4 active pimples right now, 3 of which are mostly the result of larger cysts that are taking long to heal. I've noticed that using lots of benzoyl peroxide really reddens pimples that you had thought had mostly healed. Anyway the other is a small one on my forehead. Weird thing is that they are all on the left side of my face. Oh yea, I got pretty sick about 3 days ago, so I coul
  6. First let me start off by saying I have never had a girlfriend or serious relationship. I've never even kissed a girl or held hands with a girl. I've had girls that have liked me (or not) in the past (despite my disfigured face) but I reject myself before anything serious happens. I assume everyone in the world is shallow and that everyone is always staring and laughing at me. Currently studying accounting in college but it is a nightmare going because of my severe anxiety and depression. I've h
  7. I went to Thailand for 5 weeks as a reward for my hard work at university and working as a control engineer intern at a local factory. This brought to me a few issues. Sun, alcohol, and food. I enjoyed my holiday a lot with lots of drink and other various things. This do doubt put a strain on my system. However I love scuba diving and snorkelling and I spent around 50% of my time on the beach playing football (not the american boring version! (ruffle some feathers ) or swimming or just
  8. I am acned for 3 years now, and I have accepted it as part of my life. But every time a friend of mine that have not seen me for 3 years sees my condition now, they would either pity me or wonder what the hell had happened to me. So now I am fighting against acne and I am asking you guys out there if is it really good to use oil blotter for the face. Give me your suggestions and it is of course appreciated.
  9. Hi guys, In just under 2 weeks i'll be starting uni. For the past 4 years i've suffered with moderate to severe (on occasion) acne. I'm just wondering whether I will be the only person at uni with acne. Most people my age have grew out of it by now and I don't want to be that one weird kid who suffers with it. Also during the freshers week there will be alot of partying and drinking involved, my acne seems to be related to my diet and obviously the week of drinking will take it's toll. (Aft
