  1. Hi there. I've signed up for an account here to vent more than anything else, and perhaps find some support if there's anyone else in a similar situation. I'm female, and I've had mild/moderate acne since I was 14. It's been a part of my life for nearly twenty years now, and yes, I'm SICK of it. I'm sick of not being able to answer the door without make-up, of being afraid to do any watersports with people I know, of worrying about how much of my back is visible in the top I'm wearing. My sc

    Garlic Burn Remedy

So, I recently had a very stubborn zit on my face, and I applied garlic to it. I guess I kept the garlic on for too long, because now there's still a pimple but there is also a bumpy red inflamed patch all around the pimple. Any remedies for garlic burns?
  3. its been there for at least 5 years.. its skin coloured and it doesnt really hurt or anything, nothing really comes out of it and its just skin... i also have some on my nose..can someone help me? how do i treat this?
  4. Hey guys! I am becoming really worried about what is happening to my skin. I have been on the Acne.org regimen for 5 weeks. Every night, I seem to wake up with little red bumps. They are itchy at first, and when I itch them, they get bigger, more red, and inflamed. I have no idea what to do. I am afraid that the BP or Cleanser is triggering these bumps/rashes. I am also using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleanser before using the Acne.org cleanser. I would really be grateful if anyone
  5. I have always had stubborn acne, however in the last four months I've been getting a lot of acne on my neck. My dermatologist gave me differin and cliniderm and it has not helped my acne at all, it's next to impossible to see her. No matter what I do i wake up with more acne on my neck. I use baby dove, I use cheer laundry detergent (which I've never had an issue with) and I take allergy pills. Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried everything, I've tried using nothing and my skin is getting wo

    At My Wits' End...

I'm on the verge of losing all hope in regards to my acne, just feel like crawling under a rock. I just can't seem to find a regimen that works for me. I've tried so many things, some natural remedies, some not. I'm just fed up of spending all this money on treatments to not see much improvement if any. I've tried the caveman regimen but after a couple of months it had made things worse if anything. I change my pillowcase every couple of nights and I don't have long hair that's in my face.
  7. Hi. I have pretty mild acne, it used to be worse with a lot of small forehead pimples but I started using Paulas Choice Clear acne line about 2 months ago which I liked, it worked pretty well and my face was mostly clear for a while, only very occasional small pimples on my forehead or cheeks that went away quickly. However recently I started my volleyball season again at school and therefore have been sweating a lot and think this might have to do with me getting more acne past couple weeks. I
  8. Hi guys! I really need some help here. I have been having these pimples for 3 weeks to a month and it still show no signs of recovery. One of the pimple had pus which was already extracted out by an acne patch but it is still a big red bump with no sign of any pus? I believe the other pimple is a blind pimple because it has no head at all. The area around my pimples are really red https://ibb.co/eO7HAQ During these three weeks, I have been using tea tree oil and benzoyl peroxide but it did
  9. I get blackheads very often on my chest. A few months ago, a stubborn blackhead on my chest became infected and a ton of pus filled up the spot. After a few weeks, all the pus cleared and the area looked better. I think its healed since then, but now I have a reddish brown bump from where the blackhead was and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I don't know if there's still anything inside or not. It's really affecting my confidence when I wear tank tops/bikinis! What can I do? (sorry for the

    Back Acne Help (Pics)

I've been suffering from back acne (which looks mild) for about a year now. I don't remember how it started, but I believe it could be because I used to wait about an hour after my workout to shower (I guess all that oil clogged my pores). I've been using proactive's 3 step system for a while but it never completely cleared up my back. I did some research and decided to try using Head and Shoulders shampoo a few weeks ago, since it worked for many people. Now I've noticed that my pimples have s
  11. Okay, so has anyone else had to deal with this? My regimen has shown some positive results, but there are just some spots that will not budge! For instance, I have stopped breaking out on the left half of my mouth and chin, but my right half continues to break out frequently. There's usually always 1-2 active papules (they are small, but annoying) in that area. Why would one side of my mouth/chin improve/clear up while the other side continues to haunt me? Also, the tiny papaules on my foreh

    Cured Stubborn Acne

I've had stubborn acne around mouth and face for over 2 years now and have found basically the cure for me. Felt like I should spread the knowledge because I know there are many people out there that use salyilic acid, benzoyl peroxide and AHA alone and think that they don't work. They all need to be used together. 3 products total. Use IN THAT ORDER. Twice a day. changed my life, finally clearing this acne... -Murad AHA/BHA face wash. -2.5% benzoyl peroxide -cetaphil moisturizer Best o
  13. Hey there. I am in my late 20's and I use to have AWESOME skin! Now....for the past few years...I started breaking out BAD with "hormonal acne" I guess, because its only on my cheeks and chin with MOST of it all on my left cheek only. Note : I change my pillow cases and clean my phone. I have been on tetracycline and atralin gel...this was years ago...the tetracycline blows and the gel took forever to work but finally did, the of course, stopped working and just irritated my skin. I
  14. I have had acne around my mouth for about 12 months now. It keeps getting worse and does not go away. I am 15 years old. I just visited my dermatologist and he prescribed oral acne medication. So far it hasn't worked (4 days in). Every day I wash my face in the morning and night. I wash with Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub, and PanOxyl 10% wash. After the shower, I apply Aczone, but I've been running out so I sometimes apply Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Facial Treatment Moisturizing Lot

    From the album: Serious infections

  16. Hi everyone, I have had this for a good 3 years now. It wouldn’t go away. It only occurs on the right side of my chin, but recently, I have it on my left chin as well (just a bump, hardly noticeable). The rest of my face is pretty much clear. I use 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant about every alternate day. My diet is average. I do not take much sugar. No sweets or sweetened drinks, unless I have no choice, that would perhaps be once a week or less. Just plain water / green tea most of the time. I t
  17. Hello acne.org. Before the last few days, I've been dealing with severe acne since I was 15, I'm 18 now, and after a long; frustrating battle with acne, my face is finally clearing up. Please read my story below: I was 16 years old when I noticed my mild acne was not so mild anymore. It was scattered all throughout my face and jawline. It got to the point where I was embarrassed to be seen by people, so I decided to see my dermatologist. Keep in mind that ever since I started getting acne at a

Very Stubborn Acne :( Help Me!

Hello everybody. I'm 22 years old male and have acne since i was 15. I have some pictures of my face. My left side My right side I took these photos in this morning with no flash. May be they seem milder than my real face. I tried many, many things to get acne out of my life: - Have a good diet: No dairy; very little sugar, wheat; no spicy foods; no fastfood; no smoke; no wine; no beer; much vegetables, much fruits... - Drink > 2,5 litres of water a day. - Sleep 7-8 hour

    What do I do??

I'm a 14 year old girl who has suffered from mild/moderate acne since 7th grade. My acne isn't that bad, but it is breaking my self esteem. I'd say it's more stubborn. Mostly on my forehead but some in other places. I've tried everything from drug stores and even dumb expensive products. I'm pondering whether to try acne.org at all? Everything I try leaves behind red marks on my pale skin that seem to hang out for a long time. I want to get rid of acne for good but I'm scared to try the regimen?

    Need real advice

Hi, I'm a 14 year old girl. I have an oily t-zone like most teenagers but my skin is dry and patchy at the same time. My problem are my forehead acne/bumps, I don't know what to exactly call it but it's sort of a mixture of these little bumps and painful pimples. (Picture Below) I know a lot of people deal with this sort of thing but bear in mind I'm only 14 and can't afford to order all these products that should clear my skin. Tbh I think it's caused by a few things: hormones, diet, dehydration
  21. I know this is kind of a long description BUT PLEASE READ ALL OF IT. I need your advice and I am at my wit's end. I started having moderate acne in 8th or 9th grade and it has gotten continuously worse with age. I am now 18 and I have tried a variety of different treatments. A majority of them worked somewhat but usually my skin would somehow return to almost what its like without any treatment (it's almost as if my skin adjusts to it ). Ever since I've started having acne my face has conti
  22. I have the most stubborn acne and I have no idea how to treat it! my skin has hundreds if not, thousands of small clearish bumps all over my face but mainly on my cheeks. I recently started trinessa birth control almost 2 months ago and my forehead has completely cleared up which is the first time it's been like that since i was in 8th grade (im in 11th now), although the bumps on the side of my face/cheeks/chin are out of control ( they are so embarrasing in certain lighting and it isn't someth
  23. Hey everyone! So here I am, after COUNTLESS years of products/diet changes/supplements/deals with the devil (just kidding...but if you know a guy,.), finally giving Accutane a go. I will start of by saying that my acne is Mild most of the days. The pictures you see are on a decent skin day. Some days I will have next to no active pimpes (around 3 days a month), others I will have a bad breakout where I might see 4-5 active pimples on my face, but for the most part I will have around 2-3 noti
  24. I have a pimple on the left side of my face that has been on my face for nearly a year. It has never come to a head. I have gone to estheticians who have had a hard time removing it. I really feel insecure about the pimple because I feel like my face could be flawless without that pimple which will not come to a head. I even tried Retin A (Refissa and Green Cream) but the pimple has not gone away or come to a head. I feel like someone needs to remove the pimple with a knife because of how stubbo
  25. Hi! I'm 16 and a girl. Ever since last year I've been struggling with my very stubborn acne, not even the regimen will work for me, though BP is the thing that has worked "the best" and that's not saying a lot. My acne is making me feel so bad, I'm not sure what to do anymore!! I've tried: Neutrogena ACO Formula 10.0.6 Home recipes Epiduo (prescribed) Stioxyl Basiron This is only a few of what I've tried and the prescribed medication didn't to a single thing. I'm currently
