  1. Hey all for when I possibly start Accutane what is the best generic Accutane that worked for you? I am worried about their effectiveness since it is not the original Roche Accutane. It is the same ingredients correct? But might depend on where the generic is made also. Also after seeing all these initial breakouts on here I'm sooo scared. What should I expect around 10-20 mg? I am following some people on their low dose regimen. Arg what acne makes us do!
  2. Hello everyone! Iv always been more of a lurker than a poster on here. But I've decided to maintain a log since I recently started Accutane. A little background info.. I'm female, 24 (turning 25 soon) and I weigh about 56kgs. Iv been put on 30mg of Sotret (which is a generic form of Accutane). Iv had moderate to severe acne for as long as I rememeber. It didn't start off being bad.. it was usually just a few zits on my face. But it only got worse with time. I guess iv been to about 4 diff
  3. I SPENT SO LONG ON THIS, SO PLEASE DON'T LEAVE !!! So I'm starting Accutane tomorrow or the next day and I'm so excited ! I went to get my blood work today and sometime tomorrow I'll pick up the prescription. In the meantime, I've been trying to prepare for the dryness coming my way. Recently I've been using CeraVe Moisturzing Lotion to moisturize my skin, and I think i'll stick with it (but I might use the cream instead of the lotion). I don't like Cetaphil because it has been extremely greasy
  4. Hello, This is my first post on this site so I hope this is in the correct spot but anyway I began my battle with acne in middle school and am now a senior in high school. I've tried the over the counter products, prescription antibiotic lotions and retinoids, prescription oral antibiotics, and finally Accutane. After battling acne for years just trying to "maintain" my breakouts but working so hard and still not getting where I wanted to be, I decided to go on Accutane. I began Accuta
  5. To all the beautiful people here (yes, we're beautiful regardless of acne): I'm a 26 year old guy who had great skin till 6 months ago. All of a sudden, with no change in diet, I started getting pimples. Not just the tiny ones that disappear but the deep, scarring ones including a cyst (something I never had before). To add to that, some of the breakouts that healed naturally left lots of (15-20) PIH marks. Anyway, after ignoring it for a few months (big mistake), thinking it would just all
