    Dillon's Log

Hi everyone! This is my journal to keep track of my progress with the regimen. I currently am on day 4 and have been seeing some minor changes to the texture of my skin. UPDATE: Here's me a week before I began the Regimen, Now, I'm not sure if l.e.d. flash on a camera reflects how I look in real life, but it sure does bring out the redness on my face... I also notice that my skin is extremely dry, even after I apply lots of moisturizer... It flakes constantly and is scaly. My skin als
  2. Hi, yesterday I felt very depressed about my skin, I even posted a thread about it . I decided to go to one of these chat groups specialized for helping young people. I was talking with someone about how I felt that my skin might ruin my chances with the girl I fell in love with recently (my first time falling in love), my biggest fear was to lose that special connection that I have with her. The person told me that that connection does not depend on looks, my bad skin won't make that conn

    Collagen Tablets

Hi Friends, Need some suggestions.. Does collagen tablets really helps for skin and complexion. I am seeing one here - http://www.amazon.com/Neocell-Super-Collagen-Vitamin-Tablets/dp/B00028NGEC/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you, Ashu
  4. My face is literally burning red and everyone in my family is asking what's the problem. I'm on the day 10 of the regimen and have been experiencing very big dryness and redness of the skin. I am using 4%BP and have started with a small amount of it as mentioned on the regimen (and I am gradually increasing the amount). I see marks on my face which i think they are from the skin peeling. Is this huge redness OK? Am I allergic to something? Please help I don't know if I should continue or stop im
  5. So if anyone takes the time to actually read this, I just want to say thanks, because I just need someone to listen and understand what the hell I'm going through. I figure here is the best place. I guess I'll start by explaining my "acne story." My skin was smooth and clear for most of middle school except for some forehead acne that began in 7th grade and didn't go away until sophomore year of high school simply because all that time it was being irritated my bangs. I also started using a

    Derma Roller

Hi guys I just tried my derma roller for the first time. I just have a few questions. I know I don't have to use it very frequent, but how exactly long should I wait until I use it again? I am not sure if I am applying enough pressure. I broke the skin in some places (forehead, cheek) and can literally hear/feel the needles piercing my skin, but am I pressing to lightly? It was painful for sure haha. I am aware this can take up to 8-9 months to really have effect so I am looking to make optimal

    Subcision Success!

I am happy to say that the subcision I had last year worked very well on one scar. I also had a laser and prp. On my right cheek I can hardly see the large scar. It was getting worse because I am older. It's much much better! I do still see other scars but they have improved as well. In certain light I see a scar under my eye on my left cheek, but that's under certain light. I wanted to go for the four follow up subcisions but I don't want to deal with my wife nagging me on how vain I am. B
  8. I used the regimen for 10 days. Now my skin is burned from using 4% BP. I have been using it gradually and applied moisturizer regularly. I now have stopped the regimen because of intense skin cracking, peeling off and redness. I read that the burned skin from bp can be permanent. Is that true? What can I do to get my normal skin back? I am really afraid that I'll have a scar for life because of bp. Please help!

An Insanely Horrid Diet Cured My Oily Skin

The McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss. I wasn't using it to lose weight. I was using it to get clear skin. Why? This video right here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qdwn2itsgg. Two beautiful twin girls with clear skin going on about how diet cleared them of their acne. It's a plant-based diet, but with a catch: You can't eat any fat. Not even natural fat. That meant no avocados, no nuts, no oils, nothing. You can't even cook with oils. Most of the stuff is raw. Oh my god, I don't know
  10. I have always had clogged pores on my skin. I have tried many things to try and cure it but then it only makes it work. I just leave it alone, but sometimes cystic acne pops up and I don't know what to do about it. This has been going on for almost 2 years and I still don't know what to do. This morning I realized that a pimple popped up. Help?
  11. I’ve been using African black soap for a month now too. When can I expect to see results if it works?

    Oily skin + Large Pores

I used to suffer from widespread acne but I cleared it thanks to Benzoyl Peroxide. However, ever since my acne cleared I have suffered from a combination of very oily skin and enlarged pores, many of which are deeply clogged and keep forming blackheads and/or whiteheads. I'm only 19 but I feel like my skin looks really old. I cleanse, tone and then moisturise every morning and evening (I will sometimes use benzoyl peroxide in areas where I have spots). In addition, to help breakouts and to att
  13. So, here's the basic rundown: I'm 18, around 60kg, and have mild to moderate acne. I've had it since I was about 16, and it's not horribly red or painful, but it has got progressively worse with nothing working on it. It's gotten to the point where I have been subscribed 30mg of Isotretinoin for the first 6 weeks. At first I was eager to start it, but I've had doubts about the long term effects, and I have so many questions and nobody to answer them! Is there any other hope? Will I grow
  14. I have been using Epiduo or TactuPump (Same thing, different names) since around December I think and it has helped a lot with my acne and I just have Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation left. Since around the middle of February I have had eye bags under my eyes, I think the cause of it was my sleeping late for a week or so, but after that I started sleeping 8-9 hours a night and the eye bags didn't budge. They're a little smaller now, but they are still here. I am worried because I never have h

    Mario Badescu?

Has anyone tried any of his products? I am interested in his rose water spray but wanted to know if it was comedogenic? Is it good for sensitive skin? Thanks x

    Retin-A Gel Flakes Off

Hello! I've been using Retin-a gel 0.025% and every time I apply it at night, it sorta gets tight on my face, and then an hour or so later, if I try to move my mouth to much, the gel will just sorta turn white, and flake off. I'm pretty sure its still working and such, and I don't think its my skin flaking off with it. I'm just curious if that happens to anyone else? and if it will still be working fine even know its flaking off? I still seem to have that pink skin, like with Retin-a I just w

    Flaky Skin. Help!

Hello all, So i am now on my fourth week of using the regimen and my skin is ridiculously flaky with okay improvement on my acne. The first 2 weeks I did not have any type of flaking but now i cant even put my makeup on without it peeling off. If i do as little as scratch my forehead, I end up with skin under my fingernails. It's gotten so bad that my main worry right now is the flaking and not my acne. Also, after washing my face with the cleanser my face feels really dry and it gets very
  18. Hi Guys, starting to return to this website as I have been struggling lately. I am 16 and have been having skin issues for just over a year. I have big problems with hyper pigmentation, redness and Seborrheic dermatitis. I used to have mild to moderate acne but now I don't have that many active pimples, just a few. Looking in the mirror doesn't always destroy me but it's more the emotional issues I have been dealing with. I have pigmentation issues with the skin close to the eye area, and I gene
  19. Hey guys .. I have a problem. After using the regimen, my skin has become more oily and more darker. I use this product for almost 3 months. Although the first day I used it, my skin becomes darker. I stopped using this product for almost 2 weeks, then I can see my skin color back to my natural skin tone and less oily. BUT since I use the regimen, my acne became less and prevent it from popping up. No doubt. Recently, I continue to use this product because my pimple started to appear again.
  20. Have you guys experienced a return of oily skin post accutane or has it subsided?

    Before and After

    From the album: 7 months

The top two pics are from October 2012. The bottom two are from June 2013. I had tried everything under the sun to cure my acne... I finally gave up until I found the regime. I liked the price so I tried it; stuck with it, and seven months later, when I thought all hope was lost, now have relatively clear skin. I still have redness spots that will go away eventually but now no more acne!
  22. So I've been using the regimen for quite a long time now (2 and a half years). I've noticed that this happens mainly during the summer since I feel like my face becomes more sensitive. I can feel it at night when I apply the BP that it stings a little more than usual (I live in Seattle so it's basically cloudy the rest of the year. Anyway, I'll be going along with my day and I'll start to feel like a part of my face itches and feels irritated. Then, I notice that a couple of bumps pop up on m
  23. I didn't have bad skin but when I went on Birth control for a month I began getting cysts in my chin now I've stopped the pill and skin seems to be back to how it was before. How did you all cope?
  24. I've been off the regimen for several months now, and my skin is still discolored. It's like, the skin around my eyes is pale and the rest of my face is tan looking. All I've been doing is washing my face with cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. Is this because of the cleanser, or the months and months I was putting BP on my face? Will it ever go away? I'd like to keep using the cleanser because its helped keep me relatively clear...
