  1. I have been using Epiduo or TactuPump (Same thing, different names) since around December I think and it has helped a lot with my acne and I just have Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation left. Since around the middle of February I have had eye bags under my eyes, I think the cause of it was my sleeping late for a week or so, but after that I started sleeping 8-9 hours a night and the eye bags didn't budge. They're a little smaller now, but they are still here. I am worried because I never have h

    Day 20

Day 20 - Entry's gonna be long. Topic 1: minocycline side effects Topic 2: what I picked on my face Topic 3: pimple updates Topic 4: vitamin c horrors Skip around haha ----------- I started off today feeling super tired and very crappy. I was a bit depressed, especially about my skin. It felt hopeless... I didn't know why but then I realized its probably my antibiotics every since I switched from solodyn brand to the generic minocycline, I started feeling super tired... more than I
  3. I have always had clogged pores on my skin. I have tried many things to try and cure it but then it only makes it work. I just leave it alone, but sometimes cystic acne pops up and I don't know what to do about it. This has been going on for almost 2 years and I still don't know what to do. This morning I realized that a pimple popped up. Help?
  4. I'm super excited to announce that my skin has been consistently clear and non-irritated for about a month now. The products I'm currently using have slowly weaned its way into my regimen - I'm starting to realize that skincare is a delicate balance of taking care of your skin - really listening to it on a daily basis to improve it overall. As a result, instead of completely switching products or starting completely new regimens, I've slowly incorporated the products into my regimen - especially

Going To Give This A Try

I just ordered the acne treatment regimen for the face will arrive in a few days. I am hoping this will work to clear up my skin, feeling optimistic. I do see that acne.org has a seperate wash just for the body, is anyone using that? I read from a peer reviewed article that you can infact use the same acne wash on your face onto your whole body. Is anyone else using the face wash on their body instead of buying two different treatments? I also would like to know of the side affects that actually

    Skin Frustration and Vitamin A

This year, I've become increasingly frustrated with my acne since it has started appearing more frequently in strange places - like my forearms, hands, fingers, and stomach. While in the past I put my acne concerns on the back burner, recent events have made fighting this acne a much higher priority. It's at least somewhat socially acceptable to have acne on the face - or on the back and chest - but not other weird places. It's just scary and frustrating to think that I might not have any c
  7. So if anyone takes the time to actually read this, I just want to say thanks, because I just need someone to listen and understand what the hell I'm going through. I figure here is the best place. I guess I'll start by explaining my "acne story." My skin was smooth and clear for most of middle school except for some forehead acne that began in 7th grade and didn't go away until sophomore year of high school simply because all that time it was being irritated my bangs. I also started using a
  8. Sometimes i wonder with myself and other Acne sufferers is that even though our faces are impacted by pimples, can we still see through them all and see the way we really look? can we see the clear, beautiful skin under all of those pimples or does our skin just look way, way different with acne. I hope this isn't hard to understand, I'm trying my best to explain it. When we look at other people who have acne, is it easy to imagine how they would look without Acne?
  9. Hi! I am posting again. I don't know exactly what it is but I thought I hade these rolling scars on my right cheek that were created by some bad cystic acne. It's not really rolling scars though cause the surface skin in that area is very flat and scarless but the skin underneath it is uneven and it's like it has irregular lumps. Anyway it seems to have improved by 50% over the last 5 years on it's own. It's still there though. I have used intense 1mm dermaroller on it (yes lots of blood) and it
  10. Just an early warning, please excuse any misspelling or minor grammatical errors. English isn't my native tounge and this post is written in a emotional tired induced frenzy. Hey everyone, I've been keeping a watch on this forum from time to time checking threads for possible solutions to acne outbreaks and just to find some comfort in knowing that I'm not alone one out there who knows the struggle. I'm at the age of 21, male and have been in warfare with acne since the age of 14. Since
  11. So, here's the basic rundown: I'm 18, around 60kg, and have mild to moderate acne. I've had it since I was about 16, and it's not horribly red or painful, but it has got progressively worse with nothing working on it. It's gotten to the point where I have been subscribed 30mg of Isotretinoin for the first 6 weeks. At first I was eager to start it, but I've had doubts about the long term effects, and I have so many questions and nobody to answer them! Is there any other hope? Will I grow
  12. From personal experience which has worked better for you? DIFFERIN or RETIN A?? Can you tell us why either one has worked best for you???
  13. Will using benzoyl peroxide bleach my skin? Seriously, I have medium toned skin and I applied some benzoyl peroxide to my skin tonight and I am freaking out about if over time will it turn my skin to a lighter colour? Also will I get redness or anything? I am seriously thinking of discontinuing the use of this product already! I'm so scared of getting redness and a light coloured face

    Oily skin + Large Pores

I used to suffer from widespread acne but I cleared it thanks to Benzoyl Peroxide. However, ever since my acne cleared I have suffered from a combination of very oily skin and enlarged pores, many of which are deeply clogged and keep forming blackheads and/or whiteheads. I'm only 19 but I feel like my skin looks really old. I cleanse, tone and then moisturise every morning and evening (I will sometimes use benzoyl peroxide in areas where I have spots). In addition, to help breakouts and to att

    Dillon's Log

Hi everyone! This is my journal to keep track of my progress with the regimen. I currently am on day 4 and have been seeing some minor changes to the texture of my skin. UPDATE: Here's me a week before I began the Regimen, Now, I'm not sure if l.e.d. flash on a camera reflects how I look in real life, but it sure does bring out the redness on my face... I also notice that my skin is extremely dry, even after I apply lots of moisturizer... It flakes constantly and is scaly. My skin als
  16. I am quite pale, but my skin has yellow undertones and everything looks pink on me The only thing I've found that matches me almost to perfection is Vichy Normaderm BB cream, but it clings horribly to my dry acne patches and dries out my skin. Also, it is still a bit too pink. I'm looking for a BB cream if possible, but a lightweight foundation is a good option too. Esteé Lauder, True Match and Revlon ColorStay are not an option. Esteé Lauder broke me out, and in my country Revlon and Covergi

Continuing On And On And On And On

So, what it's been like 4 days? 5 days? Man i'm dodgy at keeping track and doing daily updates but whatevs bru So I actually think something's happening... well at least I think it is... it doesn't seem any worse at least thank goodness and I have actually been told that it's looking better so here's hoping for continued recovery! I've actually been a bit naughty lately too and ate some bread! shock horror! which I'm not meant to do due to gluten not meshing with the old bods and all..
  18. Hi, i am a 21 years old girl. i had serve cystic acne a few years ago. i did get some creams from the doctor and it went away but then it came back. last year was the worst, this year i finally went to another doctor for medication and i am using it now. i have realised that using the mac studio fix powder foundation makes my skin worse even if i just wear it for a day. anybody has an recommendations for a foundation for oily dry skin cystic acne ? my skin is oily and dry right now because of
  19. Hey all, I've thought I fixed my acne and posted about it multiple times years ago...but then after a week or 2 of clear skin, I'd be right back where I was. So this time, I waited a full 3 months to make sure this was for real...and thank god it was. So please ignore any of my older posts. I want to let anyone who could be helped by this know what did the trick because having clear skin for the first time since puberty is wild...it's so incredibly uplifting that I've literally had my depression

  21. hello! i'm not sure if anyone else has this question in mind but i am in serious confusion! there are people who say white rice is poison and others who stress on a gluten-free diet. if one had to choose, which one would you choose? going by logic , white rice is bad for it raises the insulin level(sudden spike) ..for it's got high GI.whereas gluten is said to be inflammatory. so,what do u think?which one is (let's say) less harmful(or safer to carry on with)?? (my story : i have

    Mario Badescu?

Has anyone tried any of his products? I am interested in his rose water spray but wanted to know if it was comedogenic? Is it good for sensitive skin? Thanks x
  23. Hi all, Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot (new user here) and I just wanted to ask anyone who has used the Regimen, should my skin be burning from the benzoyl peroxide? I've been using it for 2 weeks (this is my second I think) and I've just upped the dosage of BP and now my skin is starting to burn and feel tight, as if I've been badly sunburnt. Thing is, I've used BP before (years ago) and it was 5% and nothing like this happened. So is this just normal? It just burns.

    Day 15 - Changes

Hi guys so I'm really enjoying this idea of me blogging everyday on my skin, its very relaxing for me and its a nice way for me to unwind at the end of the day! Progress: So today I woke up and it was my time of the month, sorry if this is TMI but I thought I'd add it becayse usually around this time I'd get a few more breakouts. I surprisingly didn't have a huge pimple anywhere, but i did notice a 2 or 3 tiny pimples on my forehead but theyre tiny, barely noticeable Also the big under the sk
