    My Acne.org Regimen Results!

From the album: Acne.org Regimen Results

I wasn't going to post these pictures because it's embarrassing to see just how bad my skin used to be!!! However, I figured someone could benefit from my struggle. I've struggled with acne for the last 10 years. I've tried changing my diet, prescription meds, Proactiv, Murad, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, all-natural face washes, masks, scrubs, etc. YOU NAME IT, I'VE TRIED IT!!!! I even tried to cover it with makeup. But no matter how much concealer you use, there's just no covering a bumpy su

    Update 5/7/13

Updates! My skin has been doing great and I've been picking less! I think I picked two times within the week.. and it was the same spot haha, didn't do much damage I've really kicked the habit of gluing myself to the mirror and killing my skin. I just got a renewal on my minocycline prescription but my derm said that they ran out of duac samples! D: so I might be getting the BP and the clindamycin separately within the next week..... I cant wait for that! As for pimples, I got one on my rig

    Sudden Dry Skin???

Hey guys, so I've been using the acne.org regiment for almost a year now and it's done WONDERS for my skin. Seriously changed my life. I still endure some random zits, hormonal breakouts, and pretty noticeable scarring. All of these things I've learned to deal with. However, recently my skin has become so dry it's cracking and flaking off my face. I have NEVER had dry skin...I've been oily in my T-Zone my entire pubescent and teenage life. I am now 21 and have the shininess under control (kind-o
  5. I have combination skin, (oily in t-zone and dry on cheeks) I exfoliate twice a day, is that to much? my skin is so oily and even after applying an oil-free moisturiser after exfoliating ( I heard oily skin is due to over-excessively dry skin ) hence the moisturiser. I'm going to cut back to exfoliating once a day in the evening but what do I use in the morning?!?! I dont know wether I should buy a cleanser but I have no idea if that helps and what even is it? I would really appreciate some advi

    Day 20

Day 20 - Entry's gonna be long. Topic 1: minocycline side effects Topic 2: what I picked on my face Topic 3: pimple updates Topic 4: vitamin c horrors Skip around haha ----------- I started off today feeling super tired and very crappy. I was a bit depressed, especially about my skin. It felt hopeless... I didn't know why but then I realized its probably my antibiotics every since I switched from solodyn brand to the generic minocycline, I started feeling super tired... more than I
  8. I have always had clogged pores on my skin. I have tried many things to try and cure it but then it only makes it work. I just leave it alone, but sometimes cystic acne pops up and I don't know what to do about it. This has been going on for almost 2 years and I still don't know what to do. This morning I realized that a pimple popped up. Help?

Going To Give This A Try

I just ordered the acne treatment regimen for the face will arrive in a few days. I am hoping this will work to clear up my skin, feeling optimistic. I do see that acne.org has a seperate wash just for the body, is anyone using that? I read from a peer reviewed article that you can infact use the same acne wash on your face onto your whole body. Is anyone else using the face wash on their body instead of buying two different treatments? I also would like to know of the side affects that actually
  10. Sometimes i wonder with myself and other Acne sufferers is that even though our faces are impacted by pimples, can we still see through them all and see the way we really look? can we see the clear, beautiful skin under all of those pimples or does our skin just look way, way different with acne. I hope this isn't hard to understand, I'm trying my best to explain it. When we look at other people who have acne, is it easy to imagine how they would look without Acne?
  11. Just an early warning, please excuse any misspelling or minor grammatical errors. English isn't my native tounge and this post is written in a emotional tired induced frenzy. Hey everyone, I've been keeping a watch on this forum from time to time checking threads for possible solutions to acne outbreaks and just to find some comfort in knowing that I'm not alone one out there who knows the struggle. I'm at the age of 21, male and have been in warfare with acne since the age of 14. Since
  12. So, here's the basic rundown: I'm 18, around 60kg, and have mild to moderate acne. I've had it since I was about 16, and it's not horribly red or painful, but it has got progressively worse with nothing working on it. It's gotten to the point where I have been subscribed 30mg of Isotretinoin for the first 6 weeks. At first I was eager to start it, but I've had doubts about the long term effects, and I have so many questions and nobody to answer them! Is there any other hope? Will I grow
  13. From personal experience which has worked better for you? DIFFERIN or RETIN A?? Can you tell us why either one has worked best for you???

    Day 15 - Changes

Hi guys so I'm really enjoying this idea of me blogging everyday on my skin, its very relaxing for me and its a nice way for me to unwind at the end of the day! Progress: So today I woke up and it was my time of the month, sorry if this is TMI but I thought I'd add it becayse usually around this time I'd get a few more breakouts. I surprisingly didn't have a huge pimple anywhere, but i did notice a 2 or 3 tiny pimples on my forehead but theyre tiny, barely noticeable Also the big under the sk

  19. So this all started a couple months ago when I had a huge zit on my nose, I've been letting it grow older so I would be able to pop it. Now I finally decided it was time to pop it but it just started to bleed a lot so being an idiot I ripped the skin of so its a like circle. After that it was just red, however skin started to grow back but I kept picking at it! After that I let the skin grow back but it was a purplish brown colour so I picked it off! Now skin will not grow back and I'm not sure

    Proactiv Plus

I am 16 years old and i started my proactiv plus journey february 12, 2014. I thankfully never suffered through severe acne throughout my life. I usually got occasional pimples which started when i entered high school, which is normal for any teenage girl. Throughout my freshman and sophomore year in high school, my skin was normal, again had occasional pimples like any other teen, and it went away in a few days/weeks. (Also, i personally noticed i never had any breakouts or any acne during
  21. I wanted to post here because I've battled with acne for over 10 years. I always wondered why my skin was breaking out. I tried accutane 8 years ago with great results, and it permanently got rid of some acne but most of it came back. A couple months ago, I drastically increased my water intake simply with a focus to be more healthy. I drink about 8 liters of water a day. I buy organic lemons and squeeze 1-2 lemons throughout the day and add it to my water. I started to eat less junkfood and go

    The problem

I have had these annoying and stubborn skin coloured bumps which I recently found it was called closed comedones which have been on my face for 2 years and are extremely stubborn. It looks absolutely dreadful on me when I wear makeup such as foundation and it's mainly located on my cheeks. I've tried every single product from really high end to really cheap and have found that using homemade masks and treatments work the best
  23. Okay, so I used to check out this site all the time, desperately looking for something to help. I found the cure to my acne, it took almost 10 years but I found it. I feel like I owe it to this site to post it for the rest of you, maybe this will help someone. A little background, I'm female in my early 20s. I had absolutely terrible skin as a teenager, went on birth control and it helped a bit, but my skin never really cleared up. By university I was getting a zit a week or so, pretty big o
