  1. Before accutane i was very active went gym 4 times a week and worked out a lot. At the moment i have exams so i cant really work out apart from home training (pushups pullups squats situps etc). But last week i just couldn't take it and went to the gym i was training my back so i was deadlifting normally its never a problem i never ever experienced any lower back pain, however this time i couldnt even lift 100kg without pain in my lower back, which is normally a warm up for me. Throughout the co
  2. Hi I'm desperately seeking some advice. I suffer from moderate acne on my face and painful acne down my back and a small amount on my chest. I get blackheads, whiteheads and small red spots all over my face and some not cystic but very swollen and painful spots often on my chin which I have to ice due to them being so sore. I have been on all topical treatments and antibiotics and accutane keeps coming up. I know there is the pill but I worry this is only temporary and could mess up my bodies gen
  3. Okay, here goes: Everything started almost a year ago. Just after christmas and new years' day. Lovely way to start 2012, now that I think about it. It was about two weeks before christmas, give or take a little. I had (still have) moderate acne that was just ugly and irritating and I figured the dermatologist might be able to help. Went to the office, it was this really nice woman who said my acne was bad enough to take a prescription pill for it. She told me minocycline was a good pill t
  4. Hi guys I decided that I would start an accutane blog to show you my progress and also to give anyone else support along their journey or to discuss my life while on accutane. . I am now just over week 3 and I will include a photo of that. I hope to make this process easier for me and also for everyone else who is on accutane or thinking about it. Side affects so far are slightly chapped lips and a little rash on my arm. I am currently on 30mg for the first two months anyways.
  5. Hey everyone, I have just started taking Accutane 3 days ago, and decided to start this blog in order to log my symptoms/ experiences throughout my course of treatment. So far the only side affects i have experienced are fatigue and an itchy face at times! Although these might just be psychological because i am anxious about the symptoms i could get taking this weird and wonderful drug- who knows ?! Feel free to leave comments/ questions on your experiences ! Will update soon with photos
  6. I am a 16 year old male (5'8 and about 58kg) and Im going on accutane (6 month course) on 17th of March (Next month) and have recently read that many people say they have erectile dysfunction after being on it... Is this true and what are the chances of me getting it? Are there guys out there who haven't suffered from erectile dysfunction after going on accutane, and the ones who have, have you found a cure?? Or is it temporary? Sorry, I have so many questions.. I don't want to regret it, th
  7. Hello everyone... I have just started to take Minomycin which was reccomended from my GP (Two 50mg tablets daily so, = 100mg a day), as i'm starting to get light acne. I'm actually worried about taking medication to get rid of acne as it doesn't seem natural. I was just concerned about the side affects - I have researched the medication but i'd like some personal experiences. When i stop taking the medication would the light acne come back worse and stronger? As i'm still developing (u
