  1. Hello! My acne is thankfully being quite calm right now-still there, but much meeker. It's left my face looking a mess though, with red marks and shallow scars all over my cheeks. I've been thinking of microdermabrasions as a way to clear it all up. My issues consist of red marks from pimples, red marks embedded in some shallow scars, small icepicks, and tiny nicks here and there. I'm aware that microdermabrasions won't help with actual scars, but I want to know from people who've done it, how
  2. Okay so I have red marks and really really shallow ace scars on both sides of my cheeks. I was wondering what I can do to help get rid of them? Someone experienced help please.. There's pictures below to help... It seriously sucks being a perfectionist and having this fucking disease... It just depresses me to look at face now sometimes because it used to be so clear. Then I got a small gash on my forehead(not big) Okay. I sound like an idiot.. Ah.. Anyway.. Help anyone?
  3. Hey everybody, I would really appreciate and advice on which treatment I should use for my deep rolling scars. I am terribly afraid of fraxel or any kind of laser resurfacing since I kinda feel that it would break me out (the scarred area often feels like it's about to break out, but never really does, I just get get tiny red spots that I eliminate with Epidou or other creams). I read the reviews of other people and it often seems to give them cystic pimples. Besides, any kind of exfoliation i
  4. My doctor prescribed me tretinoin cream for my acne scarring. He said he only saw hyperpigmentation (no dents, holes, etc.). However, I think that one of my scars definitely has some very shallow scarring, almost like it’s missing a thin layer of skin. After using the cream for 2 weeks only on the scars, I noticed that the thin layer of skin seemed to be growing back in. However, now it seems like it’s back to where it was before—more noticeable and missing a layer of skin. Has this ever happen
  5. hi everyone!! i'm new at these acne treatments so i'm apologizing in advance if this treatment has been told many times. i hope this can be of help to anyone in need of treatment on their shallow scars like mine (i think? lol). i've read from the link below that tretinoin gets rid of shallow scars. well i don't know if it's permanent though if it's not, what the heck! i'd still do this treatment 'cause there's so much benefits from tretinoin! i'm lucky 'cause i have extremely oily sk
  6. Hey!! About me: I'm an Asian. I have mild acne and i have a combination skin and i'm 20. I got a huge underground pimple on my left cheek. It didn't pop out, but a scab formed on it. The scab fell off so easily after 5 or 6 days after i had a bath. Then the skin of that area was pink color. I didn't pick the scab. Later the pimple came to a head (two or three heads were there). I did not pop it. i'm pretty sure about it!! It went back to normal after 3-5 days. Then i went to the der
  7. I suffered from cystic acne and it left me with shallow scaring around my mouth and the texture of my skin is completely different my pores look larger in the places I broke out really bad. What should I do about this type of scarring and the texture of my skin please help me!!!
  8. Well to start off im 15 and im on the antibiotics minocycline 100mg once a day. It has helped my skin a lot but what is making me really sad is some acne scars that were left behind. I have one shallow on my left cheek and like 4 on my right cheek. I also have hyperpigmentation but I know that will go away someday but i dont know about the scars. Will the scars improve? I just got them like less than a month ago. Also does Thayer's Witch Hazel with rose water help with this?? Thank you!!
  9. I have recently got off roaccutane (a.k.a accutane) a few weeks ago. My spots have have cleared up. I have red marks left over but they will fade with time. But what is really annoying me is when I look at my forehead in bright light I see bumps/rolls. I didn't know what this was until I searched it up and they are known as 'rolling scars' which barely fade/don't fade over time. These scars aren't THAT bad and can only be seen in light but its still annoying. I would say that these scars are mil
