  1. BEFORE: I have suffered with severe Cystic Acne my entire life on and off now in my late 40s it returned with a vengance. Its been like 6 years of searching and using every treatment under the sun, I even had some fear in using Acne.org because my skin would heal and then get used to the treatment and then nothing would work. If you name a product I have tried it from Clays from France to my Kitchen cabinet I have tried everything even electric current to stop my breakouts and nothing u
  2. I'm currently 8 months pregnant and my skin has never been this bad, I'm on low dose cephelexin and doing the regamin but it continues to get worse, any advice? I feel like i'm going to need accutane after breastfeeding. I have so much scarring and hyperpigmentation and I've only just recently turned 18.
  3. Hey everyone! I wanted to share a little bit of my story and how I have finally cured my severe cystic acne after suffering for 14 years. So I started getting acne all over my face at eight years old. EIGHT YEARS OLD. From there on the acne got progressively worse. I went to probably 20 different dermatologists throughout the years and no one helped me. I went through every single prescription wash, cream, and pill dermatologists prescribe. I have also bought everything over the counter witho

I've always avoided big social situations as much as possible but I did actually have some sort of social life (albeit quite a restricted one) until quite recently with the help of the wondrous invention of foundation. However, in the past few months I've developed severe cystic acne which can no longer be successfully covered up b
  5. Hey guys, I'm going to try to not make this too long. I visited my dermatologist and her resident in mid-January for severe and persistent cystic acne. After the resident got me all excited about the possibility of finally getting accutane, my dermatologist decided I should try doxycycline 100mg twice a day in combination with Diane 35 and a benzoyl peroxide cream. I reluctantly agreed, knowing she's the professional and that accutane is a pretty intense drug. I started taking it right away and
  6. I have extremely oily face, and severe cystic acne. My acne goes crazy in summers. It becomes pretty hot where I live 30-40 degree centigrade. In winters however, it reduces and almost completely disappears. Everything else remains the same. Same diet and all. Has anyone noticed something like this with them? Female, 26 years
