  1. Hi everyone, Lately I started to have acne when I was around 25 years old while I never had any at all during my teenage, anyhow after long journey of trials I came out to know that moisturizers are the cause of my breakouts, and thank God after stopping all the moisturizers I cleared up ps: I use Betaval cream at night before bed time and it's really a miracle to remove all the pigmentations and acne red spots. Unfortunately, my face is getting too dry, I originally have a dry skin and wit
  2. Hello loves. I've been a member of this website for over a year and I've spent most of that time reading and experimenting on my skin based on what I've read, I've recently come to a point where my skin is very close to being clear and my only real issue is hyperpigmentation, I know it will not go away overnight. I know it might take time to find the right product for me. I know all of this and I'm willing to work. With all of that being said, I'm looking for products much like a serum. S
  3. Hi everyone, just a question to help narrow down a product that is right for my skin. I have extremely sensitive dehydrated oily skin which is prone to small breakouts. Over the years I have been on benzoyl peroxide cream and the duac daily gel as well the antibiotics of which I have forgotten the name, tetraclyine I believe. Anyhow this was over 3 years ago now and my skin has dramatically improved. But These products have drastically dehydrated my skin also. I use aveeno products to was

  5. I've recently started using retin a 0.05% for my slight adult acne and ageing skin. My skin is taking it really well and I can already see results. I've heard about the benefits of Vitamin C on the skin and was wondering if it can be used in conjunction with retin a. I'm now using the retin-a every other night, so could the vitamin c be used the morning after under my sunblock (spf30)? Or would that be too harsh? For the night between retin-a I'm using a hyaluronic acid serum under ci
  6. From the album: My Acne

Skin is really starting to heal now. I've been off accutane for threes months and now the achy joints and hair loss and other side effects are gone. I've just started to use my Soniclear (dupe for the clarisonic) and that has helped so much in terms of the texture I have on my skin. I have zero acne but I do have raised scars that look like acne. I also started to include a vitamin c serum to my routine and have been wearing sunscreen everyday. I think these two things have helped tremen
  7. Hey guys... I've been having a lot of issues with moisturizers. I seem to be sensitive to glycols(butylene,propylene..) and they clog my pores. Finding a moisturizer without any of these is impossible- if anyone has any suggestions please let me know! So I've resorted to serums. Does anyone use serum instead of moisturizer? Please share !

  9. Does anyone have experience with The Body Shop face products? Ive heard great things about the tea tree mask and the tea tree gel to spot treat but was not sure if anyone has had experience with their other facial products ? 11. I have been using cipla vc15 serum which has 15% vitamin c (l-ascorbic acid ) for 3 weeks twice a day but my scars haven't lightened. I have PIH scars which are deep reddish brown in colour . can anyone suggest me good products for scar lightening which doesn't have glycolic acid as I don't want purging.
  12. Hi everyone! So, I have had cystic acne problems for a year or two now, and regular teen acne before that, and now my skin is finally clearing up thanks to a healthier diet and hormones leveling out. However, I've been left with both hyperpigmentation and little indented scars that I'm trying to treat now rather than later. I came across derma rollers online and since I can't afford laser treatment or other scar therapy right now, I figured it was worth a try. I ordered the Zust Beauty Derma Rol

  14. Hi! I got a free bottle of the Body shop's Drops of Youth serum. I have veeery sensitive skin and had my worst cystic acne breakout this summer when I tried going off the acne.org regimen and start using products from The Ordinary. My skin is now back to having lots of scarring but no active breakouts. Now the lady in the store told me that she recommends using this product twice a day, but I'm super careful about what I use on my skin now. But also I'm thinking maybe it will help with my scar
  15. Which should I apply first on my skin? Retin A or my Body Shop Vitamin C serum? I've been using Retin A for atleast 3 years now so I don't need to lessen the strength of the product penetrating my skin by putting serum first if that helps. On average, how much time should pass before I apply the second product? Thanks! xx

  17. Has anyone ever used Sodium Hyaluronate (to be specific a serum that contains Sodium Hyaluronate that you use for moisturizer) and what's your feedback? Ever since I used a moisturizer for the first time in my life a few weeks ago (my skin is naturally very oily), I started developing whiteheads on my right chin only (other parts are much much better). So my dermatologist changed the moisturizer into a serum which contains 3 ingredients: aqua, sodium hyaluronate and pantothenic acid (vitamin
