  1. Do you share some of the same skin problems as me? So im on minocyclie right now.Started it a week and a half ago and my acne has decreased very much. I only have two active pimples and the rest are either bumps or marks. I wash my face with sea salt morning and night which does make the skin soft and works as a spot treatment. And i moisturize with neutrogena moisturizer. But the skin on my acne prone areas is red, as if it is irritated or sweating. All other areas of my face are clean and fres
  2. Hi guys. Starting this thread more for myself than anything else to STICK to caveman regiment once and for all. Background: 21 years old and never washed my face in my life except for like maybe once randomly a couple times a year just because my friends used to do it, but I would stop after like one time. Never washed my face with water except for sometimes randomly in the morning to wake myself up or just in the shower when it got wet on days I washed my hair. I've had clear skin all my li
  3. Just wanted to share with everyone something that has been working wonders for me the past week. We all know that consuming sea salt over table salt is much healthier and a way to get essential minerals. Epsom salt is really great for drawing toxins out of the body when put in baths and can be used internally in small amounts as a laxative and for magnesium. I had a really terrible breakout from trying some decaf coffee last week and was desperate to clear it up somewhat. After taking a bath
  4. Today it's been worst weather for an acne sufferer,, Loooot's of sun whihc opens the pores, also the wind was blowing straight into my face, Totally a break out, going to see it. Also hot weather= Perspiration and heat= Bacne lot's more of it, the only thing that I'm positive about is we'll take a ride to the dead sea, and pamper myself in it's salty water and sunbathing that'll clear up my back, Yay for That. Love xoxo
  5. Week 3 has been going well the pimple that popped up on my cheek a week ago has turned into an acne mark but the I'm using the nadinola to fade it . My face is mostly clear of pimples except for a few bumps. It's my hyper pigmentation that's bothering me. I've been using nadinola consistently 2 times a day for three weeks and the results are starting to show. My hyper pigmentation has started fading slowly but surely. The homemade sea salt toner I'm using really works tho because I ve seen a dif
  6. I've been looking into this lately and am on my third day of trying it. I'm experimenting for the purpose of depressed scar healing. He talks about water as hot as you can stand it, but i've been using warm. I'm giving this a full eight weeks, and i'm not sure about exfoliating, but i may or may not start doing that with a baby hair brush. Also i'm using Celtic light grey sea salt. I'm personally not taking a shower afterwards, but i'm not saying it's a bad thing. From his post: "Results
  7. Hi there! I read some rewievs about sea salt and after my experience with water from ocean being a good killer for my acne, I decided to make my own sea salt water at home (for washing my face with it). But now I stand in front of some questions: When I take a sea salt from the shop, which ingredients should NOT be contained? And which ingredients are welcome? Is sea salt with iodine ok or should I avoid it? Thanks for any advice!
  8. So I've basically exhausted all of my acne treatment options (whether OTC, prescription, or natural) and I'm trying one of the only things I've yet to try: sea salt diluted in water and applied to the face as a leave-on toner. From personal experience I know that my skin 100% gets better whenever I'm swimming at the beach, but I don't live near any beaches so I have to do what I can with what I have at home. I bought Himalayan pink sea salt and 100% natural sea salt from the store, and this
  9. Greetings! I have read tremendously positive reviews for both sea salt and epsom salt: sea salt: http://www.acne.org/sea-salt-reviews-489/ epsom salt: http://www.acne.org/epsom-salt-reviews-1067/ I'm wondering from the people that use them, is one better than the other? Benefits? Differences?

    The Saltwater effect!

Earlier I posted a blog about the joys of using no water. However, I missed a vital water-included step. Yup, I’m a massive hypocrite. My bad. But hear me out! One of my experiments from way back when was mixing equal parts salt and water and washing my face with it. While it was ok, at the time it only mildly helped. However I’ve found that putting some in a spray bottle and using it here-and-there can also work wonders. One of my favourite tricks is during a nice hot shower/bath/facial steam
  11. So after having mild cystic acne for about 4 years ive found out how i can control it. Now my skin isnt perfect or flawless but its a huge step up from the 5+ huge, inflamed cysts i would have on my cheeks. Now i get maybe 1 cyst every 4 months and a pimple around my period. My method is simple yet has been so effective for me and i hope it can work for some of you. But anyway into how i control my acne. I wash my face everyday with a moisturizing cream cleanser. Before this i was exfoliating ev
  12. Alright so i used to take minocycline about three years ago. At first i of course felt some side effects (dizziness, loss of appetite) but they subsided by the second week. The mino worked great on my skin from what i remember. But about a year ago o r more i decided to get off it because i believe it was giving me yeast infections! Im not sure if the mino really was the culprit, but i guess ill found out soon cuz im getting on mino AGAIN! When i got off mino my acne didnt immediately come back,
