  2. Ive been using isotrexin gel for my acne since July 2012....about 6 months.....its the longest Ive been using it for. I use it nearly everyday at night time before I sleep The pock marks, ice pick marks dont bother me. surprisingly..I can accept them that they will be there forever unless I want invasive surery but its the hyperpigmentation ( brown/black marks)that bothers me allot...I hate having to wear foundation to cover the discolouration but isotrexin gel 0.05%/ Erythromycin 2% has be

    Week 4

From the album: AHA & Retinol

One month has gone by and I'm seeing some progress here and there! I'm changing my regimen slightly, as mentioned in my blog, and hope to see continuing success and good results.

From the album: My Acne Scar Healing Process

This was about 2 and a half weeks ago, where I had acne and was on my GP prescription of Duac Gel and an antibiotic. It took very long to start to function and my acne and scarring was blue and purple. It's disgusting. I guess the medication they prescribe in the UK is very mild and hardly ever make a difference, as opposed to the Indian medication which works wonders, however - does dry the skin out. I can smell bleach (Domestos) when I am applying the face wash which makes me very scared

  6. Hi guys, new to the forums. Sorry if this is technically in the wrong category. I used accutane to get rid of my acne about a year ago, and only got off of my treatment sometime late last year, or early this year. I forget. Anyway, ever since I've had got rid of my acne, I've developed weird lines all over my face. I believe it's from the scarring as I still have acne scars, and somehow lines came along. I am only 18 so aging is not the problem. Does anyone have ANY idea what this could be?
  7. From the album: Accutane Journey Results

So after a month of the pictures that show my face during the 3rd month, my face began to clear up. It is finally smooth and no acne is present on it. My confidence is building back and I can finally play soccer without the itching that sweat caused while I was on Accutane, and I go out often now. It's been around a month and a half since this picture so I've improved.

  9. From the album: Spironolactone (100mg) + Minocycline (200mg) Progress

All my acne has vanished after two weeks of taking spironolactone (100mg) and minocycline (200mg), but I am left with a lot of redness and light scarring. Currently using an aspirin honey mask once a day.
  10. What type of scars do i have, what type of treatment plan would you suggest and how big of a difference could i expect to make?
  11. Hello folks, I have been dermastamping for a while now and the two last times I included using red/infrared LED lamps to increase collagen growth. What I didn't think of was my hypertrophic scars which are a product of excess collagen growth. Is it bad to use the LED lamps on my hypertrophic scars after dermastamping? I found this source: http://www.rheumatologynews.com/fileadmin/content_pdf/san/scms_pdf/vol27_i4_Light-Emitting_Diodes.pdf Where it says the following: "imposed on the indi
  12. Hey everyone. So basically I have a pretty high self confidence now since my acne is all gone but It left me with a few little scars. I have VERY little ones (ones you could only see if you actually were a few inches away from my eyes). I have 3 minor pitted ones that are more noticeable but are really not that bad. I already am aware that my face looks completely normal with them but why is the back of my mind still worried about the littlest things like this when I know people don't pay attent
  13. Hello all. I've been on the regimen for about 3 months now. My acne didn't start until my 20s, and although I did have a few ugly breakouts a month, most of my issue has been hyperpigmentation (when I did have zits, I never picked them, I just let them be until they went away). I don't really know what happened, but all of a sudden, I started getting crazy red marks on my skin that look like acne marks, but were never zits. The regimen has cleared the few ugly pimples that I did get, but the
  14. Ok I really don't feel like typing a lot but I am very exited and need to type this right now. long story short I have had red acne marks for the last 5-6 months now which have been healing over time but never completely for instance after a shower they will look very red for about 15 minutes. ANYWAY I have avoided exercise like the plague for the last 5-6 months doing litteraly as little as possible (accept walking to school) as I thought this would only create more acne or even pro-long my m

  20. Soo I've been going out wit this girl for 2 weeks and we became a relationship a few days ago. Thing is she loves the beach and practically lives a few minutes from there. She has already brought up how she wants to be there together. Me, on the other hand, dont enjoy the beach like i used to years ago. Simply because i have horrible back acne. All over the back of my shoulder blades and in the middle. Most of it is on the upper back. I am ashamed of it to be honest. Seeing other guys at the bea
  21. Funny story. 2 months ago, I went to a derma, he made me do a blood test then gave me a 2 month supply of accutane for about $60 if I convert to USD. I came back for more accutane after 40 days, he told me to do ANOTHER blood test and wait another week. Hell nah do I got time for that, I'm too busy. So what I did was go to a local pharmacy, apparently they don't *need* a prescription, he just gave me another month supply for $30. I'm living in Saudi Arabia, they aren't so strict on getting
  22. Hey everyone!!I've had moderate acne for the past 4 years and after endless medications and prescriptions I have built up the courage to go on Accutane! I've read so so many threads and logs and so many people have had great results! For the past 3 months this summer my acne took a turn for the worst after I got bronchitis and had to take a lot of medication (i thought antibiotics would help me??). Anyway, I've been even more depressed than usual and I barely leave the house so I don't pigment m
