  1. I haven't been on Acne.org for a while now because i had the impression that my acne troubles were making a full remission. I was pretty damn wrong. For a while i was walking around all confident and what not, didn't really worry about my face because i didn't think anything was wrong with it. I would look in the mirror and not really be perfectly satisfied with how i looked but it was alot better than what it used to be. And then, i made the mistake of looking closely at my face in the light wi

I used bha cause I had closed comedomes and my skin purged and got it all out onto my skin and it's almost cleared up except these little dots on my skin.. if anyone knows how to get rid of them please let me know.. that'd be amazing because they make me so insecure

  4. My doctor put me on birth control (ortho-tricyclen) after my first period in middle school. Fast forward - clear skin for almost my entire life until I turn 19 and decide I don't need to be on synthetic hormones. Three months later, cystic acne all over my cheeks, jawline, and neck. Sound familiar? Straight away I go to the derm. Get put back on ortho-tri. I stayed on the ortho tri only to experience mediocre results, then moved onto yaz for three months which caused a literal facial explosion

  6. Hi everyone so I was in Lush today and decided to buy some new skin care products and change my skin care routine, The items which I bought are listed below: https://www.lush.co.uk/products/cleansers/fresh-farmacy https://www.lush.co.uk/products/grease-lightning https://www.lush.co.uk/products/tea-tree-water Tonight I have used all 3 of these, at first they made my skin feel rather dry so I decided to moisturise my face with some e45 lotion. 8. Here's my situation. I have heard great things about a specific laser treatment, but the doctor who performed said great things with the laser is a board certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. The catch is, he is in California, while I am in Illinois. The only doctors that offer the laser treatment I'm looking for within 100 miles of my area are board certified plastic surgeons. I should mention that on

  10. I've read quite a lot on these forums and read about people not clearing from accutane even after 6+ months. I never thought I could be one of these people, I thought accutane might finally end the years of antibiotics and BP etc. I've been on accutane for 4 months and 3 weeks. I started on 30mg for a month, 40mg for 1.5 months, 50 for 1.5 month and now on 60mg for 3 weeks (I weigh 65 kg) . I was clear for a long time on antibiotics until a GP, against my wishes, took me off antibiotics 2 ye
