  1. I have been on the regimen for 6 weeks now, so I have started ti incorporate Dan's AHA into my regimen to help with scarring. I wanted to know if it is okay to use the AHA both in the morning and at night. I know that it increases sensitivity to sunlight, but this shouldn't be a problem now that it is winter. At night, I have been using 1/2 Cerave moisturizer combined with 1/2 Dan's AHA, and was wondering if it is okay to do so in the morning as well to help speed up the fading process, or is th
  2. If I scar easily and maybe heal slow( I think I heal slow ) Maybe because of accutane 2 years ago.. Is it then GAME OVER for me, to just fade my scars or made them a bit better looking with some treatments are needling /dermaroller,dermapen,dermastamp,single) a total no go? even with a small needle length?
  3. Hey guys, I recieved a laser for removing my fleck here (accroding to the photo) since 18 October Anyway, after a scab, the scar turned to be red then after 3 days I have noticed some dark pigments inside the scar I have hesitated whether it's my over-concern, or it becomes fleck again ( needed to be removed again ), or it is just a scar thanks for your comments.

    Need Help Before Scarring!

Hi all. I am new to the forums, so hello! I, like many, if not all of you have suffered from acne. However, this post is about a rather slightly different topic. Any help of any sort will be much appreciated! For about a year, there has been a little what seemed like a blackhead trapped underneath my epidermis. I think it resulted from a full blown pimple that I avoided touching, but I can't quite remember since it has been so long. It has been sort of a hard bump on my cheek that for some
  5. Okay, so my acne has been moderate for about seven years, but I finally got it to clear up using the regimen (not totally word for word but mine works so whatever) but of course I still have scarring. My scarring isn't too bad - bad enough to bother me but not so much I can't live with it for a year or so - and I'm wondering whether I should go straight for the scar treatment (thinking fractional co2 laser) or whether I should go on a course of accutane beforehand. My doctor has offered to p
  6. [attacver I dont exactly know what they are These marks have been on my face for about 4 months now and still havent gone. Age: 17 Gender: Male Yes I use the acne.org regiment twice a day every single day How do I get rid of them, heres some images of it with flash and without
  7. Ok so I've been using the regimen about 6 months and I have seen definite improvement. My face still isn't great though, I've got some acne left but mostly it's just red marks on my face in what I think is scarring. It's no actual pimples it's just red marks and spots on my face. Should I start using a scar treatment to maybe help settle down these red marks? What do you guys recommend and when/what/how much should I apply? Thanks!!
  8. hi guys! i recently had a break out on my forehead and few pimples on my chin. and then a friend from a salon offered me to put some peeling agent, only on those area which had the pimples. after few days, it peeled. the pimples were gone but some parts of my skin were burned. i dont know if it is hyperpigmentation or what. but my main problem is how can i remove the dark marks? i used to have clear skin but now i cannot even go out without make up. can someone recommend me a scar cream or am
  9. I've had acne for around 4 years. It's been gradually lessening this past year, but I have these really weird things on the nose-side part of my cheeks. Like, the vertical strips (but not skinny, medium thickness) of skin next to my nose. Maybe they're pores, but they're ridiculously huge and impossible to get rid of, at least with whatever I've tried: cleanser, moisturizer, epiduo, clindamycin is my regimen. http://imgur.com/a/RfATI These are it. How do I close them up? I heard S
  10. I had an enormous pimple on my nose. Now, I usually don't do anything with my pimples because they go away really quickly and are often small enough to be barely noticeable, this one was HUGE. Thus, I attempted to squeeze it (mistake? yes). Some of the white stuff came out, but not all of it. Fast forward 2 weeks, that pimple is gone. In its place, a much smaller raised pimple-like thing. It doesn't hurt to the touch and it's somewhat gray in color. Thing is, it won't go away. So, what should I

  12. Hi all, I've read from this forum from a user Bruin74 stating he had success in treating his ice pickindented scars with apple cider vinegar and vitamin C using a method something like TCA CROSS. Anyone done that before and have any success?

    Weird bumps on face

Hello everyone. So, I have a problem with my skin and it's that I have these little colourless bumps on my face. At first it was only on my forehead, but now it's also on my cheeks and on my chin. It looks really bad in certain light, especially in bathroom light and in the sun and also in pictures, which makes me really self conscious (I have linked a picture). I really hope some of you can help me with what it is and how I can get rid rid of it!
  14. I have said this in many of my other posts on this website but I will say it again for those of you who have not read my other posts. Almost 4 months ago I started a new birth control called ortho try cyclin. I went on it strictly for bad Cramps and acne. Before the birth control my acne was mild to moderate. Now almost finishing my fourth month I have the worst skin I have ever had and I need your help. I am left with the worst red marks from pimples that have left my skin almost 2 to 3 month

    Peeled Acne Scab

Hey guys. So a couple months ago I had a small whitehead. I took a towel and I tried to rub the whitehead off. Unfortunately, I caused a burn on my skin by rubbing to hard. Anyways, a scab began to form and I peeled the scab off because I am an idiot. Anyways its been 2 months and the skin is still sort of red and pink. Should I try to start exfoliating this skin to fade these marks?
  16. Hi all. Even though some people on here may think the scarring that I have (shown in threads with pics I have posted) is not that bad, it is obvious that it is enough to greatly impact the way I interact with other people.... So much so, that I have tried to get SSDI (disability for those not in the states), but the case manager said that severe acne, even with documented history of needing anti-anxiety meds for more than 15 years, IS NOT a disability that qualifies!!!! WTF!!! It seems
  17. Hey all! What I am needing is some advice on my acne scarring. I have read all about the different types of scarring, and I am still not sure what kind of scarring I have. I think it might be ice pick? Or boxcar? I'm not sure. Anyways, I have uploaded some pictures of myself for reference. Also, if your scarring looks like mine at all, what treatments did you find successful? I hear subsection is excellent, but does anyone know the cost? I am a poor college student with no money, but I am
  18. Hey, So I have been thinking lately about Vitamin E and other anti inflammatory oils and what not. According to this study (which I am sure many have read) vitamin e inhibits collagen production: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1355132/ As far as I understand this is because it is an anti inflammatory and the inflammatory phase is a part of the healing process. So my question is why is it “okay” or even a good idea to use emu oil or something similar in place of Vitamin E o
  19. I use Accutane for severe acne and it's working, but i have these weird red marks left. They don't look like acne scars and my whole face looks red. My derm said it will go away in a few weeks. anyone has some tips? The pictures are not arranged but I'm pretty sure the pics go from bad to a little less bad.
  20. (Yes I know, never pop cystic acne, I've learned my lesson) This morning I couldn't take it anymore and popped a cystic acne on my nose, now it's all red and somewhat flaky (not raised). What can I do to make this go away? I've heard everything from Neosporin to BP but decided to make my own post because I'd really like to get an answer for my own situation. I know this pales in comparison to some of the other horror stories I've seen on these boards, but any help is appreciated -- I'm going ba
  21. So i started accutane 80 mg a day back in september and in the beginning of october, i felt a pimple coming in on the bottom of my sideburn (where sideburn meets jawline). It hurt and felt tender, and i stupidly tried to pop it. It eventually swelled over the next few days and scabbed over. When I picked the scab off (sorry for being nasty) the usual pimple stuff came out, but i also found a hair in there, which made me wonder if it was an ingrown hair. It then scabbed over again, but this t

    Where To Buy Dermastamp?

Hi, I am interested in purchasing a dermastamp but I hear purchasing a dodgey one could do more bad than good. So could anyone here who's experienced recommend where they purchased their dermastamp? Also has anyone purchased from the site below and can testify? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Derma-Micro-Needle-Stamp-1-5mm-Scars-Acne-Pits-Wrinkles-CIT-/231313658682?pt=US_Skin_Care&hash=item35db5e533a&_uhb=1 Thanks
