    Tretinoin Cream 0.025

First is first, my skin is not that bad. Like, yeah my skin isn't good, but it is 'bad' its oily, it breaks out on my T zone, and its oily, very oily, and blackheads...smh. My doctor gave me tretinoin cream 0.025 and I decided to research on it. I stumbled upon this site and read some people reviews on it. All of them said, THEY BROKE OUT SO BAD. So now im scared to use this. Im in 9th grade at high school, <----nuff said. I mean, I don't like to look in the mirror in general, and my skin is
  2. Just a collection of some of the best and worst products I've tried. I've had acne for about a year, it was the worst around December 2014 - February 2015. I now deal with scarring. So no matter the severity of your acne, I hope this post will guide you through which products to use and which ones to avoid. *These are just my opinions, these products will work differently depending on your skin type* Foundations: Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer Full coverage foundation, good

    treatment

Hi! First of all HELLO - I'm new to this forum Recently I was checking on some acne treatments which aren't available in drug stores. I came across some interesting curology reviews - that one is with some treatment progress photos. All the reviews are really promising but I don't trust them for 100%. I don't know anyone in real life who used it. Does anyone of you know this brand/treatment and can say something about experience? all the best
  4. Hi guys, Although Dan has made a great review section on the site, I found that there are also many reviews on *Moderator edit, site info removed* , helped me decide what peel to choose in the past. Check it out, this isn't spam or anything Boyo
  5. Hi everyone So I’m a 21 years old woman and I’ve had acne since I was 10-11. For years I’ve been using kinda agressive creams on my skin that my doctor prescribed me a long time ago. It kinda works but only on short term. I have very sensitive skin and I try to keep a simple routine but since my skin is very reactive, I don’t want to try a lot of different products. But I’m getting tired of the acne, I have it mostly on my chin and cheeks, it's annoying and it hurts. I also have scars. Tw
  6. I just started reviewing a handful of products that I like/ didn't like for my skin yesterday and none of them are showing up. For me they are when I'm in my account but when I log out of my account and look up a product I've reviewed it's not showing up. Wondering if anyone had/has this issue?
  7. Hey everyone. I'll be quick about it. I recently discovered that 'zinc oxide' can be the stand-alone acne cure for some people. (Seems like most actually). These people use baby diaper rash creams and sunscreens with a zinc oxide percentage of 5 to 40 percent. I have been intrigued to try zinc oxide related products. Note, zinc oxide is recommended for oily skin-types. I have mostly dry, sensitive skin. So this is a risk, because I'm a bit desperate. (Arn't we all). Though the warmer clima
  8. Hey everyone, I am interesting in finding out how other women combat their acne? What types of products you use, where you buy them (how are you willing to spend), how you found them? I am kinda at a loss and also have an interest in getting feedback on this "clean beauty" movement? Do other women use and like cleaner alternatives to some of the current products on the market? I am starting this journey and would love feedback!

    Day 30 (Pics)

Day 30- Did not pick today. Last day of my 30 day no picking challenge! I'd have to say, although it wasn't a complete success, because I did pick a little, it was still a great success! Ever since I started this blog, I went from picking at 15 things on my face to 1 or 2 or none! I went from a scabby pepperoni pizza face to a uh... red cupcake sprinkle face? haha I cant believe the results in only 30 days! Minimizing my picking definitely lowered the red mark counts on my face. The ones that ar
  10. Ok I started to use Epiduo gel and I already have a big underneath pimple it's not cystic because its raised and you can pop it and it hurts so much. And tonight was my first night using clindamycin pledgets and needles to say I really hope I don't have to take the antibiotic (which my insurance isn't sure they want to cover) because of all the reviews I hear about it and its freaking me out about the breaking out after getting off the pill. I'm on bcp. Ortho tri cyclen lo and its helped my acne

    RESTARTING REGIMEN (HELP!!)

Okay so a while ago I posted about having flaky skin and it has NOT went away. It only improved a little bit. The actual reason for this post is that I am thinking of restarting the regimen! I am STILL breaking out and it is my 4.5 month using it! I did start with a lot but it was because a pea size just wasn't enough to cover my whole face. I have tried switching moisturizers so the flakyness could stop, but it has not. So, I have a goal of no flakes and almost clear skin before July! I want to
  12. Have anyone tried this one? Because I'm thinking about trying it out but I would like some opinions and reviews^^

    Intro+Journey So Far X

I'm going to try to keep this short because when I read acne stories (or anything really!) I like when it gets straight to the nitty gritty. (but if you have any specific questions then feel free to ask) So, I've had acne since I was about 11/12. (I'm 20 now) so I basically haven't seen my skin clear for almost 10 years!! >.< Although, since around end of 2013/start of 2014, my skin had started to clear up. I think this was a result of drinking more water, cleansing efficiently/re
  14. Hey y'all! So I am currently in the waiting process to get on accutane since I am a female and they require two negative pregnancy tests, and of course the pledge system and all that. I just wanted to know what anyone's experience has been with this medication as far as side effects, initial break out, success with it? Things like that. Currently I am taking 150 mg of doxy that was just bumped up from 75 mg daily, and I use epiduo forte, not really seeing any success. One of of my main concer
  15. A Guys Guide To Accutane I decided to make this "guide" because before I started Accutane, I did some research on side effects & noticed that most of the posts were female based. I thought there should be some advice for men too. A quick background on me: I'm 35 yrs old & have had mild/moderate acne since I was 16. I've tried everything from topicals to antibiotics with nothing ever curing me ...or even coming close. The last few years the acne changed to a mix of everything - sma
  16. Three years ago (my senior year in high school) had to be the worst days of my life. Not only did I get acne, but cystic acne out of no where popped up (no pun intended), and after a few trips to the dermatologist every month, I started to think...What was the cause of this? Was it the chips I was having for breakfast every morning? The Ramen Noodles I was eating every other day? The starches (yes rice, bread, and potatoes---limit your intake) that consist of nearly 75% of my diet, whereas sweet
