  1. I'm sorry I haven't posted about the past few days. I didn't have time to access the internet this weekend. I'll just quickly summarize how my skin's been doing: Day 25: Again, flaky skin. Even though I was in a van for about 10 hours, I insisted on wearing makeup the entire day. There were travel videos to worry about and such. I bought Tarte's Maracuja Miracle Foundation the day before, which is a liquid. The woman selling me the product was successful in convincing me that liquid f
  2. This morning, I woke up to no new forming pimples, and even better, diminished whiteheads. I was so pleased to see that the popped whiteheads from yesterday healed pretty well, and it doesn't look like they'll be coming back. Thank goodness. The papule near my nose has also shrunk a bit, which is great. I just want to be able to wear makeup today without looking like a bumpy toad. My skin is still extremely dry and flaky, but I'm proud of this progress! This is one of those days on the
  3. Well, I freaked out yesterday, but it looks like my skin is back to progressing. Most of the areas that were popped yesterday are either now red marks or smaller whiteheads, which I'm fine with. It could've been worse! Of course, my skin is also back to its insanely dry, red, and burning routine. Applying the BP is never bad, but for some reason when I put on the 2 pumps of moisturizer (and 5-6 drops of jojoba now ) my skin starts freaking out and stinging like mad. It definitely needs
  4. Okay. I just need to vent a little here. I apologize in advance. WHY is my skin doing this? The initial clearing was absolutely a tease. There's this decently-sized red bump on my cheek and whiteheads on both my forehead and cheeks. This is so uncool. I have to admit that yes, my skin is getting less inflamed and these breakouts will heal like the rest, but goodness this is saddening. Especially without the aid of face makeup. I can't stop looking at my skin. Look at my photo
  5. Day 8 has proven so far to be quite the challenge. First, let me just say that the Regimen is still awesome. My skin is still progressing quite smoothly and at the proper pace However, my skin is definitely feeling the increased amount of BP, and it seems to be purging like no other. I don't really mean that it's breaking out. It just seems to be screaming, "EVERYTHING ON ME WILL DIE A PAINFUL DEATH." So, what's going on with my skin? Time to investigate: 1. I did have a mi
  6. Alright. Dan's products come in about a day or two, and I'm ready to start this. I've tried pretty much everything. I've wasted (or not wasted, because at least I know they don't work!) tons of money on products and procedures that have never made my acne go away. It's only been almost a year, but I know that I shouldn't have to wait that long to have clear skin again. I can do this. I just have to be persistent, and stop torturing my skin with new products and treatments. It's insa
  7. From the album: My journey and progress

Almost all my scars are gone and almost completely clear. This is a miracle.
  8. From the album: Final Image - March 2012

I realised that I hadn't completed my picture gallery showing the final result of following DKR Regimen. This photo was taken in March 2012, 7 months after following Dan's regimen. In this photo I have no skin makeup on, but I am wearing mascara, lip gloss and I've darkened my eyebrows (because the BP bleaches them blond). As the photo shows, my skin is completely clear and smooth. AHA+ has also lessened the few wrinkles I had on my forehead and the pigmentation marking on the sides of my fac

    Dryness Not So Bad

I am 100% open to other peoples comments, thoughts, opinions and suggestions even if they are different from the DKR. (Dan Kern regimen) So far though, its working pretty good. That big-ass nodule thing on my chin has gone down a lot and formed whiteheads a long the way. When I squeezed the whitehead out it oozed out like hard string cheese, it was kind of gross. Hope it'll be totally gone in another 5 days or so. Its quite small and no longer hard. My chin tried to form two new bumps and succee
  10. I'm thinking I'll have to dilute the BP. Its drying my skin quite a bit. And I have to be careful not to get it in the eye area! Super sensitive skin man! Not like I get bumps there. Any one using 5% BP got suggestions? Do you dilute it? I cant stand to grease my face up with any more moisturizer or jojoba oil! The skin mites on my face are starting to send letters of complaint about it. I got a new pimple. Under my nostril in the war zone. That is where most of my break outs have been occur
  11. So the only new pimples I'm seeing is white heads in my nostril crevice (If its called that I dunno), You know, where the nostril meets the cheek. Those ones arent so bad because they can be quickly popped with minimal damage! Other than that NO NEW PIMPLES have formed since starting this regimen. By the way folks you need to be careful when spelling regimen that you dont spell REGIME! LOL I've seen that. Anyway the only problem I foresee is how bloody expensive BP is. I'm a bit relucta
  12. So I added Clean and Clear blackhead eraser scrub to my regimen. I had noticed a horrible amount of blackheads on my chin. I usually get them on the sides of my nose and on my chin. I love this scrub! It makes my skin feel super clean and leaves a cool feeling. After two days of using the scrub, the blackheads and pimples on my chin are completely gone! The worst area with pimples *my forehead* has improved. The pimples have decreased in size but they still remain. I am adding peppermint oil as
  13. There is a part of me that is absolutely horrified that I'm blogging about this *with pictures*, lol. However, I'm a really open person, so I really wanted to share this journey because I understand the struggle for clear skin and how it makes a person feel to not achieve it---let alone wonder if what they're currently using is actually working. I need the support and ideas and feedback just like anyone walking around wondering, "is this even working? am I just telling myself that it is? do I l
  14. I forgot to take a photo the first day, but I have to say that this is a dramatic improvement. What you see mainly on my neck/under chin is scar tissue from the past 13 years of suffering with acne, along with cystic acne spots that have been there for months. I have tons of blackheads and hard sebum clogs in my forehead and my cheeks. Ignore the red line across my nose -- glasses. In the past week, I have had only one new pimple, a change from one or two every other day. The cystic acn
  15. Helo! Can't believe I have been following the regimen for 3 weeks already (booyeah)! After all the redness, flaking and itchy skin, I have finally passed that stage already. My skin is no longer red but as compared to my neck, it is still a bit darker. But yea most of the active acne, I can say, are 95% gone from my face There are still acne scars caused by previous acne in some part of my cheeks. But as for the forehead and nose area are pretty much cleared. My current skin routine: -
  16. I'm currently Day 14 following The Regimen I've seen minor improvements on my face, no new acne popping up in my face and the older ones are gone by now or at least very dry. However, I can still se acne scars here and there due to the old acne. My only concern is that my face is now darker than the usual color also when being compared to my neck. The skin also tends to get very dry after I wash my face with a gentle cleanser, should I scrub off the dry skin on my face or just leave it as it
  17. Hi guys, it's my first time ever posting here so I am not sure if this is the right board to post this on but here we go: So three weeks ago I was on my way to my holiday abroad, during airport security my face wash (Cetaphil oily skin version) got thrown away as I wasn't allowed to take that much liquid in my hand baggage. I thought to myself meh okay why don't I try washing with only water for the next week and continue to apply my antibiotic topical (chlyndamycin lotion). I noticed that

    The Beginning

So like everyone else in this "community" i have ACNE! And just like everyone else i've tried everything on the self and even went to a Dermatologist. Nothing worked or seemed to work until i tried this regimen. I wanted to try the regimen out first before purchasing the system because in the past i've spent alot of money on products that don't work! I feel that in the near future i will be ordering it because for the last month i've used alot of the Neutrogena On the Spot (2 bottles). My first
  19. Okay, so it's been a year since starting the regimen. I won't deny that it has worked at clearing my acne, but overall, it has caused me to have other skin issues which I've never experienced before in my life; redness, dryness, wrinkles, clogged pores, blackheads and hyperpigmentation which lasts for months on end. When I had acne when I was 15 and wasn't doing anything to treat my face, I would pop pimples constantly and the red mark afterwards would heal within days. Nowadays, if I do pop
  20. hello! two years or so ago I began experiencing more severe acne than I had in my teenage years. before that, I'd have the odd blemish or two but never had to think very hard about what products I used on my skin. my skin today is the worst I have ever seen it and I now find myself o.b.s.e.s.s.i.n.g. over every little thing I do, wondering if it contributes to my acne. my health history: I have alopecia areata, which is an autoimmune disorder that causes mild hair loss; I am also lactos
  21. Hi everyone! I’d reallllllyyyyy appreciate some help. I’ve paid A LOT of money for the acne.org regimen products as I live in the UK but I can’t bring myself to actually start the regimen Hear me out: Even though I’ve heard all the amazing success stories I’m really worried the regimen will mess up my already messed up skin. When I was teen (I’m now 30) I was given OTC benzoyl peroxide (i can’t remember the %) but it REALLY REALLY messed up my skin. I have sensitive skin but was told
  22. hellooo, I finally found the routine that helped me clear my cystic acne (on my cheeks) and I just wanted to share it with those who has tried everything (like me) but nothing seems to work and believes that Accutane might be their last resort. NOTE: this is what worked for ME, thus, it may not work for some people. anyway, the key to this routine is diet. - no milk (this includes any kind of milk eg soymilk, almond milk), well, occasionally, I would have food that consists of milk, j
  23. hey I've been using the regime for a year now. Some of my acne has cleared up but not all of it. My skin is oily in some areas and unbearably flaky and dry in some which all started after i used the regimen. MY skin still stings from using BP. I use two pumps because I've been using the regimen for so long but i don't think its still suppose to burn. I follow everything exactly also i use AHA. should i decrease the amount of bp that I'm using? for reference I'm 16 years old with moderate acne t
  24. Hi, i think my acne is pretty mild. is it possible to do the regimen only at night? thanks.
  25. I’ve been using the acene.org regimen for more then 5 months now, I’ve recently purchased the AHA+. How is this used? I’d like to use it as an all over the face treatment, do I wash it off after? Is it a leave in treatment? How is it used???
