Going To Give This A Try

I just ordered the acne treatment regimen for the face will arrive in a few days. I am hoping this will work to clear up my skin, feeling optimistic. I do see that acne.org has a seperate wash just for the body, is anyone using that? I read from a peer reviewed article that you can infact use the same acne wash on your face onto your whole body. Is anyone else using the face wash on their body instead of buying two different treatments? I also would like to know of the side affects that actually
  2. I am 15 years old and i recently found out i have acne vulgaris and alot of zits all over my face, especially on the cheeks to my forehead and chin. In the past i have little acne yet i thought proactiv would heal my acne. It was the worst decision of my life especially when i had decided to stop using it. When i had been using proactiv, my skin was clear but when i had stopped using it my acne just burst. Ever since then i have used everything literally. I've tried coconut oil, natural organics
  3. I have been using the regimen since May 15, 2012 so about a month and a half. I notice that my skin is a little better but not significantly as for many people by now according to the reviews I have read. So, can anyone with moderate to severe (more on the severe side) acne that has used the regimen share their experience TIMEWISE with the regimen? How was it working for you by this time? (Month and a half or so), when did you see the most dramatic resuts? Did it work or not for you? and if i

    Dryness Not So Bad

I am 100% open to other peoples comments, thoughts, opinions and suggestions even if they are different from the DKR. (Dan Kern regimen) So far though, its working pretty good. That big-ass nodule thing on my chin has gone down a lot and formed whiteheads a long the way. When I squeezed the whitehead out it oozed out like hard string cheese, it was kind of gross. Hope it'll be totally gone in another 5 days or so. Its quite small and no longer hard. My chin tried to form two new bumps and succee

    Whiteheads On Week 1?

Hello. I just started doing the regimen and now my face is full of whiteheads. Is this normal? Should I try taking them out?
  6. Hello, I wonder if I can follow the regimen with other brands' products which I already have. I have dermaplus md's cleanser and moisturizer, also benzoyl peroxide which is from a different brand.
  7. Hello! So today marks the day my package from drugstore.com arrived and I can't wait to start my new skincare routine. So, a little background info. I've been struggling with breakouts since I was a pre-teen. Got really bad around age 16-18 and then after taking an antibiotic for a short period of time it cleared up. I am now 19 and it is back (not nearly as bad, but still, back). I have been wanting to go on accutane the past few years but my insurance does not cover it and it's been h

    Regimen

To do this treatment effective , can we use our own cleanser and moisturizer.? And just use acne.org BEnzoyl peroxide? Or is it a must to buy all 3 for results???

    Only once a day?

Hi, i think my acne is pretty mild. is it possible to do the regimen only at night? thanks.
  10. Hi. So I haven't posted anything on this forum in quite awhile because I haven't really needed to. HISTORY: I began getting mild acne around 3 years ago, mostly just whiteheads. Over the course of 2 years my acne got irritated and discolored. I wasn't happy. So let's start with around 2 years ago. I first started using Benzoyl Peroxide 0.1% for my acne in the fall of 2011. Though my acne started to subside, nothing drastically changed. In March of 2012 I decided to try the Acne.org Regimen.

    Drier Than A Camels Armpit

I'm thinking I'll have to dilute the BP. Its drying my skin quite a bit. And I have to be careful not to get it in the eye area! Super sensitive skin man! Not like I get bumps there. Any one using 5% BP got suggestions? Do you dilute it? I cant stand to grease my face up with any more moisturizer or jojoba oil! The skin mites on my face are starting to send letters of complaint about it. I got a new pimple. Under my nostril in the war zone. That is where most of my break outs have been occur
  12. hey I've been using the regime for a year now. Some of my acne has cleared up but not all of it. My skin is oily in some areas and unbearably flaky and dry in some which all started after i used the regimen. MY skin still stings from using BP. I use two pumps because I've been using the regimen for so long but i don't think its still suppose to burn. I follow everything exactly also i use AHA. should i decrease the amount of bp that I'm using? for reference I'm 16 years old with moderate acne t

    Caveman Regimen

I have done the caveman regimen before but not for the whole month, just two weeks. I wanted to start it again but I was wondering if it's better to not let anything at all touch your face during it or if you should at least wash it with water?
  14. I have been on the regimen for a month now, my skin has improved abit, i dont break out so much anymore, my skin is red and dry tho. I am going to London this monday with my class, monday to friday. This means it will be almost impossible for me to keep up with the regimen, since i am going to live in a small hotel room, with 5 other dudes.. what will happen if i skip the regimen for those days? will i lose all progress, and start breaking out like crazy? and will i have to start all over wh
  15. A Little About Me: I went off acne antibiotics two months ago, and when my face started breaking out I wanted to try the Regimen. My acne is moderate and I do not get cysts just a lot of whiteheads and blackheads on my T zone. When I get anxious I pick at my skin, so usually my face looks worse than it really is. I am using Cetaphil face wash + Dan's BP treatment + Cetaphil face cream. Anyone have bad experiences with Cetaphil? (I am new to the brand). Week 2: Hi everyone! Just wanted to
  16. Hi everyone! im new here and hoping to get all my questions answered. lol I'm so excited to get my acne.org in the mail and i am impatiently waiting. I am also planning on getting the clarisonic,I don't know if its ok to use it with the cleanser from the regimen? because it says use the cleanser for less than 10 seconds. Im thinking of using a different moisturizer for daytime use just cause i want to have something that has spf in it. any suggestions? thanks! )
  17. Hi Guys, I have had a great experience with the Regimen - having been on it for several years, and staying clear. (I started in late 2011 - I am now 38 years old) A couple of months ago I decided to stop it - largely out of curiosity to see if I still needed it to stay clear. I slowly weaned myself off over a few weeks. I started doing it only in the evening at first, and then just every other morning after a while, and then completely stopping. During this weaning off period, my s
  18. Hello Acne.org community! It's been nearly 4 years since I last visited this site. For the past eight months, I've been using The Regimen. AND I'M CLEAR!!! I urge you to try The Regimen. It's no secret. It's just the best I've ever experienced. Seriously. (Obviously it's dependent on you, but) this stuff really works! I'm not paid by Dan, acne.org, or any third party vendor, etc etc. IT F***ING WORKS! I want you to be clear. So you can hear me out if you want. I'll tell my brie

    Body Regimen? Help?

Hi, i'm 14 and I've struggled with body acne for around 2 years. I feel like it's ruining my life. I can't wear any of the clothes I'd like to wear, especially dresses and tank tops, and I can't go swimming. I wash my skin in the morning and take a shower at night because I have hockey every day in the afternoon. I use the bp and then moisturize. It's working a little I guess but I want to be able to finally be confident and wear a dress to this dance coming up. Can i have some help? Does anyone

    Water's For Squares

Hey guys, I've been lurking here for well over 6 months now and finally decided to post. Starting off, I've tried just about everything since the age of 13 when I first started breaking out: -ortho tricyclin -numerous antibiotics -some other acne pills I forgot the names of -tons of topicals including: epiduo, retin a, clyndamycin, adapalene, tretinoin (for chest + back), etc -proactiv, neutrogena, oxy, basically anything you can find in the store that claims to "work" After realizing
  21. What is the best way to treat redness and scarring while using the regimen. I am about to reach my 8th week on the regimen and have seen my skin slowly improve so I plan to continue to do this treatment. I do have a lot of redness on my cheeks as well as scarring I would like to treat as well. What is the best thing to use that wont interfere with the regimen?
  22. Does anyone have a suggestion for a gentle body wash that is compatible with The Regimen? I use the acne.org products but I don't love using the face wash on the rest of my body. Any suggestions? Or even, what to look out for (ingredients to avoid, etc.) in a body wash? I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive like Dove or another readily available drugstore brand. Thanks so much!
  23. Gosh, I remember finding this site when I was struggling with my teenage acne 15 or so years ago. I just recently came across it again, as I am now 30 and my acne is flaring up. Some months and years have been better than others as with all who suffer from adult acne, but it just recently has become the worst it has ever been. I've tried it all - lots of BP regimens (but never Dan's). I used Proactiv for years did help a little, but nothing that stuck. For about 2 years now, I have been usi
  24. Hello! I was hoping to get some ideas from others routines, so if you would be so kind as to tell me what you do in the AM and PM as far as skincare, that would be great. (: Morning: Cetaphil cleanser for all skin types Neutrogena moisture for combo skin Night: Neutrogena RapidClear oil eliminating cleanser (to remove makeup) Cetaphil cleanser for all skin types (to cleanse after makeup removal) Equate BP 2.5% treatment AcneFree Terminator 5% BP (for spot treatment on active blemishe
  25. The regimen gave me a ton of problems while I was on it. Though it did help clear up my acne to some degree, I never got to the point that I was completely clear. Before I continue I'd like to say that this was just my personal experience with the regimen- it could very well work great for you, but for me... it was hell. I was on the regimen for around 6 months. It's now been another 6 months since I quit the regimen. I'd also like to add that I was on an oral medication for acne, Solodyn, while
