    The Beginning

So like everyone else in this "community" i have ACNE! And just like everyone else i've tried everything on the self and even went to a Dermatologist. Nothing worked or seemed to work until i tried this regimen. I wanted to try the regimen out first before purchasing the system because in the past i've spent alot of money on products that don't work! I feel that in the near future i will be ordering it because for the last month i've used alot of the Neutrogena On the Spot (2 bottles). My first
  2. hello! two years or so ago I began experiencing more severe acne than I had in my teenage years. before that, I'd have the odd blemish or two but never had to think very hard about what products I used on my skin. my skin today is the worst I have ever seen it and I now find myself o.b.s.e.s.s.i.n.g. over every little thing I do, wondering if it contributes to my acne. my health history: I have alopecia areata, which is an autoimmune disorder that causes mild hair loss; I am also lactos
  3. Hi guys, it's my first time ever posting here so I am not sure if this is the right board to post this on but here we go: So three weeks ago I was on my way to my holiday abroad, during airport security my face wash (Cetaphil oily skin version) got thrown away as I wasn't allowed to take that much liquid in my hand baggage. I thought to myself meh okay why don't I try washing with only water for the next week and continue to apply my antibiotic topical (chlyndamycin lotion). I noticed that
  4. hey I've been using the regime for a year now. Some of my acne has cleared up but not all of it. My skin is oily in some areas and unbearably flaky and dry in some which all started after i used the regimen. MY skin still stings from using BP. I use two pumps because I've been using the regimen for so long but i don't think its still suppose to burn. I follow everything exactly also i use AHA. should i decrease the amount of bp that I'm using? for reference I'm 16 years old with moderate acne t
  5. Hi everyone! I’d reallllllyyyyy appreciate some help. I’ve paid A LOT of money for the acne.org regimen products as I live in the UK but I can’t bring myself to actually start the regimen Hear me out: Even though I’ve heard all the amazing success stories I’m really worried the regimen will mess up my already messed up skin. When I was teen (I’m now 30) I was given OTC benzoyl peroxide (i can’t remember the %) but it REALLY REALLY messed up my skin. I have sensitive skin but was told
  6. hellooo, I finally found the routine that helped me clear my cystic acne (on my cheeks) and I just wanted to share it with those who has tried everything (like me) but nothing seems to work and believes that Accutane might be their last resort. NOTE: this is what worked for ME, thus, it may not work for some people. anyway, the key to this routine is diet. - no milk (this includes any kind of milk eg soymilk, almond milk), well, occasionally, I would have food that consists of milk, j
  7. Hi, i think my acne is pretty mild. is it possible to do the regimen only at night? thanks.
  8. Hi all, I've been using 5% BP now for about a year, but only realised a month or 2 ago that you need to apply it all over the skin and not just pinpoint onto spots (wish I'd known sooner!) Anyway, the reason for using 5% is that this is the most readily available BP cream I can get in the UK. I use a gentle cleanser and then a salicylic acid wash morning and night and BP in the evenings only and then cetaphil moituriser. Basically I've been trying to re-create the regimen but have seen no over
  9. I've been noticing that my face is much less oily in the morning if I don't moisturize at night (CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion). I've started using Alina's hyaluronic acid serum in the morning and my face feels super smooth and hydrated. Should i continue moisturizing every night or can i just apply AHA+ several times a week and that's it?
  10. I’ve been using the acene.org regimen for more then 5 months now, I’ve recently purchased the AHA+. How is this used? I’d like to use it as an all over the face treatment, do I wash it off after? Is it a leave in treatment? How is it used???
  11. If I am only using the benzoyl peroxide on certain areas of my face, do I do the same with aha? For instance I am not putting the BP on my forehead at all , will I be putting the aha on my forehead once I start using it?
  12. To do this treatment effective , can we use our own cleanser and moisturizer.? And just use acne.org BEnzoyl peroxide? Or is it a must to buy all 3 for results???
  13. For example when I was in high school I wanted to kill everyone who bullied me for it. I also use to punch and break things because of how it wrecked my life. Now a few years later I still have violent thoughts in general because of it and constant anger.
  14. Hey guys, I've been doing the regimen for almost 7 weeks now, using store-bought products, and it has helped me a lot, but I still do get bumps every now and then and I still have a lot of clogged pores and whiteheads, so I think I should make the switch to Dan's BP, which I already use for my body acne. I originally used a CVS brand 2.5% BP + moisturizer, but I just don't think it's as effective, and it's way too expensive to use in the long run. I just don't know which moisturizer to use
  15. Hey guys! I am becoming really worried about what is happening to my skin. I have been on the Acne.org regimen for 5 weeks. Every night, I seem to wake up with little red bumps. They are itchy at first, and when I itch them, they get bigger, more red, and inflamed. I have no idea what to do. I am afraid that the BP or Cleanser is triggering these bumps/rashes. I am also using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleanser before using the Acne.org cleanser. I would really be grateful if anyone
  16. So I've been on the regimen with store bought products for about a month now. In the past few days I've started breaking out like crazy (10+ pimples and some cysts), along with having a burning sensation and a lot of flaking. I did not have this kind of reaction at all until now. It also burns worse when I put on my neutrogena gentle moisturizer. I'm really close to giving up because the burning is unbearable and my chin is breaking out and flaking like crazy. This doesn't seem normal for a mont
  17. Giday all, I've been on the regimen (cleanser, treatment and moisturizer) for about 2 weeks now and I have no complaints just a few questions Im hoping you guys can help me with: Firstly - In the first week I put on the Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% each night about a pea size and it made my skin peel. I stopped using it for a couple of days and just kept cleansing and moisturising morning and night and got my skin functioning again. Im now using the treatment (BP) once every two nights and just a
  18. What is the best way to treat redness and scarring while using the regimen. I am about to reach my 8th week on the regimen and have seen my skin slowly improve so I plan to continue to do this treatment. I do have a lot of redness on my cheeks as well as scarring I would like to treat as well. What is the best thing to use that wont interfere with the regimen?
  19. Here's the background info: Started regimen a long, long time ago. About four years ago. After 5ish months on it I was baby face clear and stayed that way for about half a year. Mind you, during this time I could eat ANYTHING and not be affected. It was a good time. Flash Forward to now, my skin isn't that great. It's typically a week long breakout (1-2 zits a day, for a week) follow by a week of healing/red spots, followed up by two-three days of clear, nice looking skin. Only to break
  20. I have had back and shoulder acne for a good 3/4 years now and it is starting to really affect my confidence. Of course it has always been an issue for me, as it stops me from wearing the clothes I want as well as being constantly self-conscious on holiday. However, I have now reached the point where I need to get rid of it desperately. I want to start using the body regimen, but was looking for any success stories/ first-hand experiences so that I can see whether it is really worth investing in
  21. I spent the first few minutes of the new year crying. Yup, I sobbed because my skin was not what I wanted it to be before the new year hit. I decided not to wear makeup that day, and the harsh reality of my acne just teared me apart. I whimpered along my cousins shoulder, and hugged after talking to her about my self esteem issues. With much encouragement, she advised I move on and keep on finding something that can help me out without going to see a dermatologist. I tried my best and looked up
  22. I've been hearing a lot about this microneedling over the last year and had considered giving it a try. But it wasn't until I heard a coworker raving about it that I thought I should actually go for it. Basically, you're rolling dozens of tiny needles all over your face, causing controlled injury to the layers of skin and forcing the body to increase collagen production. This improves, apparently, fine lines, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and skin firmness. There are different needle length

    Week 4

From the album: AHA & Retinol

One month has gone by and I'm seeing some progress here and there! I'm changing my regimen slightly, as mentioned in my blog, and hope to see continuing success and good results.

  25. My skin has been really itchy and I've been getting hives on my back. My face is itchy but no hives there thank the Lord! The hives on my back are there mostly at night, I wake up with an itchy back lately. I know I'm allergic to a lot of things but I don't know everything that I am allergic too. I'm not sure what's causing the hives so I prayed and started eliminating scented stuff. I'm taking a few different allergies pills and using topical anti-itch products. Hopefully my doctor gets my refe
