  1. The 2 month mark is here! 8 weeks! This is a crucial milestone, people. A crossroad of sorts. This is the time I told myself I'd evaluate my progress and decide if I should continue... Well? What do you guys think? Is it worth sticking it out another month? Another 2 months? Forever?!?
  2. Fingers crossed my improvements stick! We all know how that can go
  3. Hey kids. So I just finished week 3/started week 4. And I'm still pretty pleased w the results of the regimen! As a reminder I'm using 1/3 fingers length of bp twice a day, with dans cleanser and Cerave moisturizer twice a day too. I also just started my 3rd month of the bc pill Trinessa... I try and wear as little makeup as possible. Some Clinique concealer under the eyes and on any zits usually makes me half presentable for a day at work. But I'd like to start trying maybe adding a primer
  4. Isn't that what we tell all the dermatologists who we see, now? "Sooo, it all started when..." blah blah blah. So my story sounds a lot like what I've already heard so many times on this site. I'm 25, female, and have battled acne on and off since middle school. In high school, proactiv controlled it somewhat so that it was manageable. But my freshman year in college my periods went crazy, I got ovarian cysts, and my skin opened up a can of whop ass on me. Proactiv was no match for th
  5. From the album: the regimen week 3

it looks like its spreading so frustrated
  6. From the album: Week Five

WEEK FIVE I had a huge comedone on my nose that I popped, what's left is a huge scar. However, NO NEW BREAKOUTS! Recently, what looks like huge cystic acne bumps seem to form on my chin, however, they shrink and completely disappear the next day. I can notice that hyper pigmentation from old acne scars is slowing fading away! All breakouts are completely dried out - no new whiteheads. You can still see on my neck where the Benzol-Peroxide has darkened my fair skin, however I feel that over
  7. From the album: Some of my pics !

    Week 4

From the album: AHA & Retinol

One month has gone by and I'm seeing some progress here and there! I'm changing my regimen slightly, as mentioned in my blog, and hope to see continuing success and good results.
  9. I've been hearing a lot about this microneedling over the last year and had considered giving it a try. But it wasn't until I heard a coworker raving about it that I thought I should actually go for it. Basically, you're rolling dozens of tiny needles all over your face, causing controlled injury to the layers of skin and forcing the body to increase collagen production. This improves, apparently, fine lines, scarring, hyperpigmentation, and skin firmness. There are different needle length
  10. HELLO Beautiful people. I recently uploaded a video about my 5 month experience using the 3 step regimen from Acne.org. (Attached is a link to that video) I discussed in great details my thoughts on the products, the side effects I endured, and much more. PLEASE check out my video and Subscribe to my channel for future updates. Feel free to explore my channel to watch other videos regarding my acne journey. SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE SUBSCRIBE. 11. My skin has been really itchy and I've been getting hives on my back. My face is itchy but no hives there thank the Lord! The hives on my back are there mostly at night, I wake up with an itchy back lately. I know I'm allergic to a lot of things but I don't know everything that I am allergic too. I'm not sure what's causing the hives so I prayed and started eliminating scented stuff. I'm taking a few different allergies pills and using topical anti-itch products. Hopefully my doctor gets my refe
  12. On my last blog , I said that my skin is super oily and didn't itchy at all ! But guess what happened ? It was starting to get itchy on day 2 and today (12/5/2016-day 3) it was like hell to me. My skin was completely dried and itchy like hell. I have to go to school and I had to suffer tried so hard not to scratch or even touch my skin. I didn't know whether to use the moistreriser or not whenever my skin felt tried ?. another thing that came to me is the enourmous pore. Before i started to

    Day 1

I would like to start of by saying that my acne by no means is bad. It used to be pretty moderate, but I've been using the regimen for about three/four months now and it's been helping. I was originally just using it once a day, but recently I decided to slowly implement using it twice daily. Boy, does my skin burn. My skin is slightly pink, which is normal. I know I need to get used to using it twice daily. However, I'm surprised by how badly my eyelids burn seeing as the bp stays completley
  14. So a bit of background... I have had acne since I was about 12 and typically throughout school products didnt really work for me until I tried Proactiv. But over time, obviously this product isnt very cost effective and it was ruining all my towels! I always wanted skin that was beautiful and clear and easy to manage! So I tried every natural way of trying to get rid of it. I dont have overly oily skin or really dry skin, but I get all those little bumps on my forehead, big red pimples on my ch
  15. Hi everyone I wanted to share with you my recent experiment with the 'caveman regimen' that many people are turning to out of frustration with treating Acne. My acne background is as follows: my skin has been prone to moderate whitehead pimples and sore inflamed skin since the age of approx. 14 was prescribed oxytetracycline at 15 (I didn't ask for them nor was i at the doctors for acne. I regret agreeing to take them) Between 14-23 I have been on 6 different antibiotics at separate time
  16. From the album: Regimen progress

    Better Quality May 21st. (Acne.org, Cleanser-Treatment-Moisturizer)
  17. From the album: Week 6

Popped some stuff that was starting to form on this side. A little sad about that, but swelling is down and the rest is healing.
  18. From the album: Week 5

Seriously, I don't know what's wrong with this side. Still, it's on its way. The biggest issue is that there's a cluster of 3-4 bumps (that giant red blotch) under my skin, and I have no idea what they're doing or why they're there. Could be hormonal (new birth control), could be from popping last week, no idea. The rest is PIH.
  19. From the album: Week 5

Again, hyperpigmentation. Some whiteheads on forehead.
  20. Well, after some much needed moisturizer and jojoba, my skin is back on its way. The swelling is completely gone, and the redness has gone down significantly. Also, the popped areas are still healing. They're not completely gone, but they're looking a lot less angry! I did have to exfoliate with jojoba oil this morning, though. I rubbed a good amount of it between my hands and massaged my face with it in the shower. It works better for me when my flakes are wet; they just come right off
  21. I just need to say, WOW, my skin was flaky yesterday. I have no idea what happened. I washed my face and flakes came off on my towel! I could've peeled so much of my face off. It was weird, but I suppose it's better to let some layers shed and keep my skin as fresh as possible. Gotta get all of the rest of that buried acne out of there! Speaking of such, I'm very irked by a cluster of bumps under my skin on my problem cheek. The other side of my face is SO much clearer, what's going o
