    End Result?

The regimen is effective. It can keep my skin clear. But it's a constant battle between dry/flaky skin and oily/over-moisturized skin. Life on the regimen is annoying to say the least. It takes an extra hour to get ready in the morning and at night for bed. I hate walking around like my face is wet paint; if any gets too close to my face, I freak out. I'm going to college next year and I don't want to bring the regimen with me. I know if I stop using it, i'll break out bad. The regimen and c
  2. Hi Guys, I have had a great experience with the Regimen - having been on it for several years, and staying clear. (I started in late 2011 - I am now 38 years old) A couple of months ago I decided to stop it - largely out of curiosity to see if I still needed it to stay clear. I slowly weaned myself off over a few weeks. I started doing it only in the evening at first, and then just every other morning after a while, and then completely stopping. During this weaning off period, my s
  3. Hi everyone. I was prescribed Clindamycin and Differin Gel by my doc for mild acne. I have very mild acne with the occassional hormonal monster pimple. I do not have much acne scars. I have about 2 or 3 very shallow pock marks and 1 ice pick scar on my cheek. But can someone with knowledge regarding this please tell me if: 1. Is it safe to exfoliate with a salicylic acid toner while on these two? 2. If yes, where does this go in my regimen? (Day or night, before or after putting on the cli

    Regimen, And Side Effects?

Hello acne.org community. So I have a problem. I am starting to think that the Regimen's cons actually out weigh the pros. It is currently month 3, and I have seen some results. They are not the best by far, but definitely getting there. Anyway, I am still experiencing very dry and flaky skin. I have to bring a moisturizer to school, and every period I have to say I have to go to the bathroom, and apply moisturizer. I am very self conscious about how I look, and the flakiness is not good. I have
  5. Hi guys! One of my friends told me about acne.org and I decided to check it out. I was going through the website and noticed that people who use the regimen have worse acne than me. Does that mean I'm not eligible to use these products? Is it only meant for people with severe acne? I attached a few photos... can you guys go through them and let me know if I would still be able to use acne.org stuff? The pictures aren't that good, but it's little bumps on my forehead and both my cheeks. PLEASE TA
  6. Okay, so my acne has been moderate for about seven years, but I finally got it to clear up using the regimen (not totally word for word but mine works so whatever) but of course I still have scarring. My scarring isn't too bad - bad enough to bother me but not so much I can't live with it for a year or so - and I'm wondering whether I should go straight for the scar treatment (thinking fractional co2 laser) or whether I should go on a course of accutane beforehand. My doctor has offered to p
  7. Hey guys .. I have a problem. After using the regimen, my skin has become more oily and more darker. I use this product for almost 3 months. Although the first day I used it, my skin becomes darker. I stopped using this product for almost 2 weeks, then I can see my skin color back to my natural skin tone and less oily. BUT since I use the regimen, my acne became less and prevent it from popping up. No doubt. Recently, I continue to use this product because my pimple started to appear again.
  8. Hey guys! I am becoming really worried about what is happening to my skin. I have been on the Acne.org regimen for 5 weeks. Every night, I seem to wake up with little red bumps. They are itchy at first, and when I itch them, they get bigger, more red, and inflamed. I have no idea what to do. I am afraid that the BP or Cleanser is triggering these bumps/rashes. I am also using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleanser before using the Acne.org cleanser. I would really be grateful if anyone
  9. Good evening, Since my 12th I have been suffering from Acne. Now I am in my twenties and every morning its a suprise whether there is something new on my face. Its not terribly bad, but I am tired of it. I've bought the moisturizer and Cleanser from Acne.org and I use a 5% Benzylperoxide formula from the local pharmacy. The results have been very positive, I can recommend it to everyone. I'm looking for a pharmacy to mix my 5% with a neutral product to make it 2.5%. I hope I can find some Du

    Share Shipping To Toronto?

I'm looking to order some more products and if there is anyone in Toronto that would like to share shipping, let me know!
  11. I have a question! I have been avoiding makeup pretty much entirely..and i'm not too worried about wearing makeup during the day because I know come evening/night time time I take it off and wash my face with a cleanser to take it all off for a fresh face for night time to let all the BP sink in. So what my question is, what do I do if I want to wear makeup at night time around the time I am going to be doing my night time regimen? I usually do my night time routine at 5-6pm and I'm freaking o
  12. So I have been using the regimen for a while now and it has definitely yielded results. I first used it once a day at night time and washed it off in the morning. This worked alright but didn't help nearly as much as I wanted it to so I switched to using the regimen twice a day as instructed. This is fine except for one problem. The moisturizer makes my face shiny. I use cetaphil cleanser and the bp and moisturizer made by Dan and sold on this site. Dan's moisturizer makes my face shiny
  13. Hi acne.org community, Seeing as I've been using acne.org regimen products for the past few months I've thought it appropriate to register here and share my spots of bother... ahaha... I've been acne prone since I was 13 and now I'm 17, and the severity has worsened. Proactiv did work for me until about two years ago, and that's when I had to take a different approach. So far acne.org's BP treatment in conjunction with the AHA+ (which I've been using for just a week) has really helped ta

    Weaning Off Regimen

First I want to start off saying that the Regimen has worked wonders for me. It cleared up about 97% of my acne in the 1.5 years I was on it. However, I decided that I didn't want to be on it my whole life. I also started to see my face age faster than normal. Although I moisturized very well and always used jojoba oil, I could see my face changing. That is when I decided I would try stopping the regimen. This may not work for everyone, but for those who are afraid of stopping or weaning off the

    My Experience On/off The Regimen

Hi everyone, This is my first post on Acne.org although I first discovered the Regimen back in 2008. I just wanted to introduce myself, and share my experiences with you guys. I'm a 28 year old male who has suffered with Acne since I was in my teens. I started my regimen journey 5 years ago using Brevoxyl 4% cream as it was readily available from chemists and pharmacies here in the UK. Right from day one I noticed a marked improvement to my skin, and continued to use the cream for 3 y
  16. Hi Everyone, I finished Accutane about a month ago, and I already have a big pimple on my cheek. I've learned a lot while on Accutane. I'm being very gentle with my skin, barely touching while I wash, moisturizing, but here I am with a nodule. I'm still happy I went on Accutane, and I'm very certain it'll keep the cysts at bay, but I need something to help me with what I'm experiencing now. I'm very clear, but I feel like I have no course of action against the pimples I get from now on. Wh
  17. Hello everyone! I really want to buy the regimen, I've tried everything on my face but nothing works anymore! I have a really oily skin, especially on my cheeks and I've been suffering of acne since I was 12 (I'm 16 years old now). The problem is that I don't have a serious acne, I mean it's not that big. I used to have it on my forehead but it's completely gone now (exept for those unexpected pimples ugh) but on my right cheek I got some scars and that's where the acne works a lot. But I'm not
  18. I am from the UK and recently purchased the range of regiman face product. I wanted your opinions on how effective this product actually is in comparison to anything else. I am also on differin right now, but I need something for the morning too and thought this would help. Having gone through some of these pictures, I saw success in all of you beautiful people. I am not happy with my apperance and wish to cleanse my face with acne, so please divulge any information regarding this product. R
  19. Hi all, I've been using 5% BP now for about a year, but only realised a month or 2 ago that you need to apply it all over the skin and not just pinpoint onto spots (wish I'd known sooner!) Anyway, the reason for using 5% is that this is the most readily available BP cream I can get in the UK. I use a gentle cleanser and then a salicylic acid wash morning and night and BP in the evenings only and then cetaphil moituriser. Basically I've been trying to re-create the regimen but have seen no over

    Clear skies ahead

From the album: Final Image - March 2012

I realised that I hadn't completed my picture gallery showing the final result of following DKR Regimen. This photo was taken in March 2012, 7 months after following Dan's regimen. In this photo I have no skin makeup on, but I am wearing mascara, lip gloss and I've darkened my eyebrows (because the BP bleaches them blond). As the photo shows, my skin is completely clear and smooth. AHA+ has also lessened the few wrinkles I had on my forehead and the pigmentation marking on the sides of my fac

    Body Regimen? Help?

Hi, i'm 14 and I've struggled with body acne for around 2 years. I feel like it's ruining my life. I can't wear any of the clothes I'd like to wear, especially dresses and tank tops, and I can't go swimming. I wash my skin in the morning and take a shower at night because I have hockey every day in the afternoon. I use the bp and then moisturize. It's working a little I guess but I want to be able to finally be confident and wear a dress to this dance coming up. Can i have some help? Does anyone

    Redness?

I'm new to the Regimen, I'm on my third week and my face is burning and bright red. It feels kind of tight, but it seems like the moisturizer is keeping my face soft. I think that these side effects should go away soon, but do you think my face will stay red? When I was on Retin-A, I had such a red face, and after I stopped using it, the redness subsided. Do you think that while I use the BP my face will stay red, like it used to?
  23. Hi! I want to know if this regimen is right for skin that is tight after washing but oily in day...how can I make my skin NOT oily during the day? 1. Wash face in shower with Benzoyl Peroxide 10% creamy wash (told to by dermatologist) 2. Use Eucerion regular lotion, although on back it says apply to dry skin. Again, dermatologist, but only until my skin stopped drying from medication (which it has) 3. Workday, and by 11 or 11:30 my skin is oily. If I don't put on powder, it's terribly b
  24. Hi everyone! im new here and hoping to get all my questions answered. lol I'm so excited to get my acne.org in the mail and i am impatiently waiting. I am also planning on getting the clarisonic,I don't know if its ok to use it with the cleanser from the regimen? because it says use the cleanser for less than 10 seconds. Im thinking of using a different moisturizer for daytime use just cause i want to have something that has spf in it. any suggestions? thanks! )

    Caveman Regimen

I have done the caveman regimen before but not for the whole month, just two weeks. I wanted to start it again but I was wondering if it's better to not let anything at all touch your face during it or if you should at least wash it with water?
