  1. Hello! I saw a youtube video raving about acne.org and decided to give it a try! I started 3 days ago and have some questions. Background: Im 19 years old and have had moderate to light acne since I was in 7th grade. Its mild compared to some, but bothersome to say the least. I break out the worst a week or a few days before my TOM and sometimes experience breakouts for 2 weeks after, then have a few days of clear skin, and the cycle repeats itself. I have lost 23 pounds in the last 3 mon
  2. So I used this la Roche possay thing for marks like 3 months after my second course of accutane and I think it might have burned my skin.. This was like 6 months ago.. my face is fine now but I have quite distinct redness where my non existent moustache would be.. my doctor gave me fucidin first..didn't work. Now I'm using Daktacort and this seems to be making it redder. It's really really annoying me! I remember at first when I had it there was little loads of under the skin headless spots in
  3. Okay so I started using benzoyl peroxide (2.5%) overnight about 3 weeks ago and I had built up to it effectively - no red, flakiness, etc. then I went to Florida and had to stop applying my benzoyl peroxide + clindamycin overnight for a week. When I started back up, my skin got red and peely again. I picked off the peely skin and applied clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide last night and woke up this morning with BRIGHT PINK skin directly where I'd applied it. I'm scared I applied it on raw skin an
  4. Is anyone on here familiar with using silicone for post inflammatory erythema (PIE)? The red marks that you get from acne that take forever to go away? I've seen a handful of people on the internet claiming that silicone gel or sheets can help with PIE. Is there anyone currently suffering with these post acne marks that is using silicone and can confirm that it is giving good results? If so how well is it working, and how are you using the silicone? The amount of information on how to get r
  5. I've had cystic acne since I was about 12. I'm 21 now and I rarely break out in cyst. Just one or two a month or so. I mainly just have to deal with redness or dark marks that they leave. I recently stopped using over the counter acne washes and using only the cetaphil antibacterial bar. My skin has cleared almost entirely of these little colorless bumps I had and excess oil (no more shiny face) I even stopped wearing foundation, just powder and cover up to diminish the look of redness/scars. Th
  6. I use the acne.org regimen morning and night. I think I wasn't careful enough some time when applying the BP underneath the eye area, but I am not positively sure this was the cause. It is very noticeable off camera, to other people. 7. Hi all, I have suffered with acne for 2+ years now first it started of severed but after being on a prescribed antibiotic and making a lot of healthy lifestyle changes it went to moderate acne but still has not gone? Still to this day I wake up every morning with the same red scars left and even more white heads over my cheeks and round the mouth area where they are more painful above my lip on the sides of my nose and on my chin. I do not understand why everyday I wake up with a new load of whi
  8. I bet I am one of many people who will say that they have tried almost everything to clear their acne including supplements, prescriptions, products and treatments. So, I started The Regimen on the evening of 10-11-14. I am following the instructions exactly as stated. I can honestly say that the cystic and standard acne has dramatically decreased and any new acne seems come and go much quicker than before. However, I am experiencing some discomfort other than being dry and mildly peelin
  9. I am a female teen and have been using the acne.org regimen for a little over 5 months. Up until the last month it worked as it said it would, I was completely clear. However, within the last month the benzoyl peroxide has caused extreme redness, dryness and itchiness. I did not change anything, that I am aware of. Because of the extreme discomfort of the benzoyl peroxide, I took a break for about a week. I started using a natural regimen recommended by a women with much knowledge in natural

  11. Hi guys, I'm not going to bore everyone with a super long story - but recently I decided enough was enough and to piece my life together. Get rid of my current terrible friends, find a new bunch, start dating, lose a few pounds of weight (I'm 5 feet 3, 138 suffering from hypothyroidism) and just be happy. I'm doing extremely well professionally so that's something to be grateful for! I got my acne under control for the past 2 months and now barely break out - maybe one pimple in a month
  12. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone else gets arm breakouts? And I'm not talking about keratosis pilaris, I'm talking about inflamed, red bumps/spots on my arms that don't have a head, and don't itch. They pop up all the time and take 4 or 5 days to go away. The only way I can keep my arms slightly clear from this is by literally slathering AHA+ all over my arms every night before bed, which, after a while, can get pretty tedious and expensive, and even after that, I will still get a few of those
  13. I will never sympathize with cancer patients or people who have HIV/AIDS or diabetes etc. They get all these charities and donations and support and I get stared at like a freak. After years of anxiety humiliation and bullying nothing will ever change my mind about this. I couldn't care less about them while we get nothing
  14. Hey all! I am currently on accutane and it's been 12 months since I began. I've been taking 40mg a day for the whole course. As you can see in the photo I've attached, my right cheek is basically covered in cysts. Now these decided to pop up around 2 months into the accutane course; so yes, they've been chilling on my face for a good 10 months now. Every appointment with my derm, he disregards the fact that it's anything to worry about but I'm starting to think he's not addressing the re
  15. Hi guys, I started using the Acne.org 11 days ago. For the first week I applied the treatment on my neck , where in I don't get acne on my neck. And now my neck is all red and black very irritated and it burns a lot. I stopped using the treatment on my neck , the burning has not yet gone. Please suggest me something.
  16. Hi everyone I have been on the regimen for about 6 day now tomorrow will be a week I have been having severe flaking and burning I am just using a pea size of the BP once a day and I am wondering if I should go to 2 times a day like the regimen suggest or wate a little longer for my face to get used to the BP.
  17. I highly doubt they would. I've never seen it before. Girls would pick an obese man over a guy with acne and scars and I don't mean a pimple or two but an entire face marred in acne and deeply inflamed. I'm about to be 21 and never kissed a girl because of the way I look. I know that's the reason. I slowing accepting the fact that I'm going to have to see a prostitute sometime.
  18. Hey everyone. so I had a facial about 3 weeks ago. needless to say, I will not be getting another. I had a breakout and decided to go to an esthetician so they could get me pointed in the right direction with better skincare products tailored to my needs and such. I my sister had gone to her previously and she has alot of experience with acne. n fact, she had pretty severe cystic acne herself that she had since cleared up. anyway, I had a deep cleansing facial with extractions done. the extracti
  19. Last night, I applied Spectro Gel (included benzoyl peroxide in it) to a couple pimples last night. I only applied a small amount and slept with it on. I washed it off this morning and noticed where I applied it- it is now red around the pimples and just on my skin. I am really scared because I am hoping this redness isn't permanent because right now it's pretty prominent. Can someone tell me if my skin will stay red forever, or if I ruined my skin! Or will it eventually go away if I stop using
  20. For a little bit over 3 years now, I've had a red nose and pale pink cheeks. I used to have worse spots on my face but I usually only get them before my period now. I used to pick at my spots causing scarring, but I'm not sure what the cause of my red nose is. The sides of my nose is worse and is always red, but the bridge of my nose varies from pink to red. I've been to a doctor, not a dermatologist, and all he said was that it was hormonal. I'm really unsure because it's been persistent and it
  21. Ive tried 5 prescription creams and doxycycline. Nothing has worked.
  22. Help! I misused apple cider vinegar while treating an acne spot, and now I have what might possibly be a burn on my skin from it. The skin around the (now dried out) pimple is very dark, red, and somewhat raised and rough to touch. I now realize I didn't dilute the vinegar enough and left it on my skin for too long. What is the best recommended treatment for this? How do I heal the skin and reduce the redness from the burn quickly?
  23. Hi everyone! I am currently on my 5th week of the Acne.org Regimen. I use water to cleanse my face, then use a 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide and moisturize with 2-3 pumps of Cerave Moisturizing Lotion+Jojoba Oil. My face is starting to really clear up now, but I was outside yesterday and got sunburned. I applied the Regimen as usual last night and this morning but was wondering if this is ok since I am sunburned, or if I should take a day or two off from BP. Thanks for your help!
  24. Hey Dan and everybody else on here. I am a Pakistani with moderate acne. It's not severe but still it's not a good sight. As any other girl I have desperately tried everything from proactiv to drugstore skincare brands to clear my acne, but it did not work. And I am one of those unlucky people who breakout 'cause of tea tree oil (I used it once and ended up with more breakouts ) . I found this site. Lucky for me that I did. I read all of the success stories here and I literally had tears in my
