  1. There comes a point where you just have to accept your acne for what it is. It is how your body detoxes. There are several ways people's bodies get rid of toxins. These include: through skin, breath, urine, bowels, and sweat. Most people who appear to have clear skin probably solely detox when they go to the bathroom. Today, they are the lucky ones, but they live without any warning signs of the havoc that is going on inside of their bodies. Those lucky people are those that will continue to eat
  2. Hey everyone, Well, let me, sort of, introduce myself first. I'm a 20 year old male form The Netherlands, and never really suffered form acne or any other skin issues. On my face, that is. I did have eczema when I was younger. My facial skin actually looked quite good until I got seborrheic dermatitis around 2 years ago. It quickly faded with ketoconazole, and it has never returned in full strength either. I've been mostly free from it ever since. But I do have some long-lasting effects, w
  3. Milk Free Diet Cleared My Cystic Acne, And.... ... Eliminating Sugar and most High GI/GL (Glycemic Index/Glycemic Load) foods cleared the rest of my 'white heads'. This worked for me, and will work for you. What I have been able to learn and understand for the past several years is that each and every person is different, and everyone will need to find what works for them and them alone. No one can do it for you, but this will do more for you than you could ever imagine. If anyone wa

Am I clear yet? Well right now I am in ANOTHER water fast it is my 3rd day so far.. And guess what organ is detoxing once again? My SKIN.. So right at the moment I am not clear only one small pimple on the left side of my chin which is awesome. before the water fast was I clear? Yes I was not perfect but nothing a
  6. I've read around and I know that I'm supposed to use raw honey for a face mask. So, I went out to the store and bought two different ones because I didn't know which one I am supposed to use... I'm not even sure if one of them is "raw" honey because it says "100% Pure Raw Natural...Honey" and apparently there is a difference between pure honey and raw honey. So, here's a picture of the two: http://s18.postimage...5_06_48_128.jpg Here's a picture of the RAW UNFILTERED HONEY: http://s18.p

    New Regimen: Honey!

I had been using the OCM at night and honey in the morning. It wasn't doing much for my skin and I had been breaking out recently do to forgetting my cleansers at my house and having to use something different so I decided to ditch it all and go more simple. The honey I had been using was Aunt Sue's Honey which is the best raw honey you can buy at Krogers. It wasn't making it worse but it wasn't making it better, and I would still break out. So I went to Whole Foods and got the best raw honey I
  8. so i feel like i always post and get no replies but I'm so desperate i just need to put something out there anyways. I had a pimple that i left alone and spot treated for a few nights. the skin on top became pretty dry and dead even though i moisturize everyday. so when I was washing my face the layer of skin quite literally peeled off and left giant raw crater. as you can see my skin around it is already a shit show. now i have this. ugh. so upset. how do i heal this. i have a flight back to
  9. Hi everyone! I created this thread so that you can post your experiences with Wai Diet. There is a pinned thread for Paleo Diet, so I'd like to ask moderators to pin this thread too, please! I've been on Wai Diet for 9 months and I've been 99 to 100% clean since week 3. Before, I had moderate acne, with lots of inflammation. I used to have between 20 and 40 pimples, full of pus, spread all over my face. Notice that I burned my whole face and frontal neck 2 years ago (I'm 20 btw), wit
  10. Hey there. My name is Emma. I am 22 years old and live in London, England. Please support me in my experiment I will live on a whole foods, organic, vegan, high-carbohydrate diet for 3 months. I will track my nutritional info on CronoMeter. I will document my progress and experience so we can all learn from it. PURPOSE We can research journals, watch youtube and read the forums until we're blue (or red and lumpy) in the face. Only we, ourselves, can truly learn from experience. So here
  11. I've been struggling with acne since I was 11 and I am now 15. It's gotten worse and worse over the years. First it was on my nose then my forehead, then it started on my chin, now theres a little on my temples and its all on my cheeks and chin. So I decided to stop being lazy and finally go holistically. I have tried endless different products so obviously if none of them can get it right then I'm probably not going to cure my acne with products. I was using the OCM at night and honey in the mo
  12. This is when my lips began to peel Hi! Im on a week and a day of accutane (generic brand)... and the first layer of my lips just peeled off ! Like completely... my lips are BLOOD BRIGHT RED and swollen... I feel like this is even worse than super dry chapped lips? I have tried a million chapsticks Dr dans.. everything. My derm even prescribed me 2% cortisone.. but I think he thought my lips were dry because they aren’t flaky or peeling anymore they are just super uncomfortable and it’s h
  13. I've had acne since I was around 12 ( I am now 15, female). I am stressed out as I have GCSE's and everything, but my acne started when I was just in year 7, when I wasn't stressed at all, so i dont know if theres a link here? My acne is now mild' but I haven't had clear skin since I was in primary school and it gets me down so much. I get a cluster of tiny pimples in the middle of my forehead, so its not even a case of being able to pop a pimple. ( I never pick at my skin). I also took lymec
  14. So I went to the mall to do some shopping .. I Don't eat sugar, dairy, wheat, gluten, etc. but sometimes I really crave chocolate!! (especially around that time of the month u know) , but I know I can't have some But then I went to the health food section, and I found some really awesome raw chocolate - Pacari ecuadorian organic chocolate 100% - it is made without sugar (of cause since it is 100% cacao) It is full of healthy antioxidants and free of almost everything acne-prones tend t
  15. Hi guys, I'm about a month into my accutane treatment. So far everything has been going very well, and my skin has actually been clearing up. I've been dealing with the dryness as best as possible, and everything has been very manageable thus far. In the past couple days, a dry patch has formed near the corner of my lip, and sort of blew up this past night. The top layer of skin is gone and its just very red and raw. Does anybody know what I can do to alleviate the pain/soreness, or improv
  16. Ok here is my situation im 15 year old male. I have had acne for 2 years and it has cleared up my back and my face although my face was not bad at all. My back has little to no acne anymore thank god, BUT when i was 13 i used Dove for Men (strong scented) body wash. I had an allergic reaction from the smell/ingredients that led to tender, raw skin on my back that eventually turned into multiple hypertrophic raised scars. Only on my shoulder blades there are probably 12 all together. Summer is a
  17. I'm going to start a raw vegan diet this Thursday and document the changes in my acne. I'll also be publicising what I eat on a daily basis. I've heard a lot about how this diet has the ability to heal acne, so rather than just sitting back researching the topic I thought it would be more effective trying it out for myself and seeing if it works. Hopefully I can encourage some more people do the same thing. All my food logs and results will be on www.dietgivesyouacne.com
