  2. Hello people! I have been using the regimen for approx 2 weeks and it makes my skin super dry but then end of the day. This is to be expected for now - but is there anything I can do to ensure my makeup isn't flaky and dried out by the end of the day? I use bare minerals liquid foundation. Primer? Moisturiser? Tricks? Tips? With the dryness chill out soon? Any input is appreciated!
  3. I'm trying to see if I can multitask my moisturizer to also work as a primer because I don't want to use too many products on my face. Has anyone used Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Lotion SPF 15? The ingredients and the product's claims look great...let me know if anyone has used this.
  4. Hello I was wondering if anyone who uses a matte primer for their oily skin could give me recommendation? High end would be preferred but if there's one from the drug store you like, I'd love to know about that as well! Thanks.
  5. Hey all, What are your recommendations for the best primer for acne prone skin? I'm starting to look into primers again now that my skin has gotten better, but my skin doesn't like heavy, masklike primers because it will break me out. Here's a list of stuff that has broken me out: BareMinerals PrimeTime Tarte Clean Slate Primer Laura Mercier Oil-Free Primer Does anyone have some suggestions for primers that have a lightweight or gel-like texture that is also good for sensitive skin

  7. Hey everyone, I have been on the regimen successfully for a few years now, and have added in some new makeup products recently. I started breaking out on my chin in 4-5 zits yesterday and I think it's related to the new makeup. I wanted to know if anyone has suggestions about applying loose or pressed powder? I tried brushes but after a week or so, I started breaking out. Also, I noticed on the acne.org website, it is recommended to use a clean, dry powder puff. So, I have been using a clean,
  8. Alright, this is for everyone out there who has skin issues, and wants to cover them up. Now i know treating is very important, but this post will not be about treating, its about covering. Now I have had my battle with just about every foundation out there, and I think I may have found a good regime for just about everyone who needs coverage. BEST PRIMER EVER: Philosophy: the present, 25$ at sephora for 2floz. Now maybe your thinking thats expensive, but most drugstore primers are 10-12 dol

  10. Hello everyone! I have been researching primers for a while now but unfortunately i have not been able to find many primers that are specific to acne/problematic/sensitive skin! I have just purchased the Bare Escentuals prime time oil-free primer. Has anyone tried this concoction?! I have super sensitive skin and break out to almost everything. So have stuck with one foundation - Everyday Minerals (Godsend), for 5/6 years now and am too scared to try out anything else - including conce
  11. I'm on my own version of the regimen and things are finally looking up for me. I'm wondering about my morning routine, though. I wash with CeraVe foaming wash, use proactiv repairing lotion (2.5%bp), then apply CeraVe AM moisturizer. After that dries I put on CoverFX primer which contains 1% salicylic acid. My question is whether or not it's ok to wear both BP and salicylic acid at the same time under my makeup.
  12. Hi there looking for a primer that wont break me out. Avoiding all those pore minimising primers cause they break me out like crazyyy. I tried that loreal blurring one and peter thomas roth mattifying one and I could literally feel the pimple being made. I went to a wedding and half way through my face itched and lo and behold there was a massive pimple. Now im scared of those primers
  13. My worst enemies is acne and acne scars. My acne is getting better. But the scars is making me feel insecure. Before I have this acne problem, I always feel confident with myself. But last year, I have the biggest breakout. My skin look worse and there's one boy who said that I'm ugly because I have many acne. That start my insecurity. But like I said, my acne is getting better but my scars isn't. What I need is your opinions. I'm looking for makeup to cover my acne scars. I'm on a budget becau

I could not do my regimen which had previously cleared my skin Anyway I had to reinvest in my makeup so .... since I have watched a few online tutorials and have been convinced of the benefits of using a primer I decided to buy one but I was determined to get one that was officially non-comodogenic. I just used it today and I really reccomend getting one, it really felt like applying velvety pearls to my skin, I had to use
